#timetotravel The Aguinaldo Shrine is a must visit for those people who are keen on learning Philippine's history as this place holds a remarkable event in history. This is where Emilio Aguinaldo (First President of the Republic of the Philippines) raised the Philippines flag to declare Philippines' independence from Spain in 1898. The Shrine is beautifully preserved and well maintained. It has all of Aguinaldo's memorabilias and antiques. It is really interesting to have a glimpse of the first president's life in this house now turned museum. Since this belongs to the government, they don't charge to enter this place however I reccommend you to donate. Have a nice visit!
