I highly recommend everyone to explore Sosong Village by the Yarlung Tsangpo River, avoiding the traditional tourist hotspots. It's a completely different experience: no need to rush for sightseeing and photo ops, just quietly enjoy the mornings and evenings of Sosong, listen to the roar of the Yarlung Tsangpo River, watch the sunlight gilding the peaks of Namjagbarwa, and it will surely become a beautiful memory of your trip. Chen stayed in Sosong Village, Linzhi, Tibet for three days and two nights, staying at the best scenic location in Sosong Village, Namjagbarwa Mountain Residence, and dining at the hotel's Nanfeng Huayin Restaurant, with the best view of Namjagbarwa Peak. During the stay, I was lucky enough to see the sunlight gilding the peaks, which was spectacular! It's like a real-life Shangri-La. The restaurant has delicious Tibetan pork, dry pot ribs, shredded potatoes, and fish-flavored shredded pork. Every day, after eating and drinking to my heart's content, I would relax in the hotel courtyard, not caring about anything else. I didn't want to leave this comfortable life at all, and I highly recommend this accommodation! Touring Tips: 1. The altitude from Linzhi to Sosong Village will rise from 2800 meters to 3500 meters, be aware of altitude sickness at all times. 2. There is a big temperature difference between morning and evening, so be sure to add clothes. 3. Nanfeng Huayin Restaurant is highly recommended for their boiled yak meat and yak meat mushroom soup pot. The locally sourced fresh yak meat is full of flavor, and once you start eating, you can't stop.
