Wurstfest

Wurstfest is a celebration of the history and deliciousness of sausages, and it’s been one of the most fun things to do in New Braunfels since its conception in 1961. In the beginning, the festival was just a one-day, simple event with a few visitors, but today, it is a 10-day extravaganza of music, culture, heritage, and food drawing visitors from across the state and even the country. With thousands of annual visitors, Wurstfest offers a taste of German culture mixed delightfully with Texas rowdiness.
