Archeological museum 🗿

📍How to get there: Piazza Olivella 10, Palermo. Next to the central post office. ✔️Ticket: 6 euros ✔️Working hours: from Tuesday to Friday, 9:00-13:00, 15:00-17:00. It’s the oldest museum in Sicily. It contains a great collection of Ancient Greek art. Some of the historical items are dated 4th/5th century BC. The buildings of the museum itself is a true masterpiece also. It was built in 17th century. In the middle of the museum there is a small yard with a fountain and a small garden. For now the second floor of the museum, church and the oratorium are under renovation. But the first floor can impress a lot! It’s a good place to spend a couple’s of hours and to know more about the history of Palermo. timetotravel
