Coming to Xiayange Village is like arriving at the scene described by Du Mu, 'Climbing up the cold mountain along the stone path, there are homes amidst the white clouds.' The cloud-viewing platform above is the best spot to watch the clouds and mist. When the mist rises, it's like a fairyland; when it disperses, one can overlook the nineteen peaks piercing through the rocks and look down upon the great bend of the Hanfei River.
