Wanfenglin Scenic Area in Guizhou

Wanfenglin Scenic Area is located in the southeast of Xingyi City, Guizhou Province, with a grand and magnificent landscape. The mountain peaks have unique shapes, and the overall form is elegant, making it the largest and most typical karst peak forest in China. More than three hundred and sixty years ago, Xu Xiake, a famous traveler of the Ming Dynasty, had visited Wanfenglin and exclaimed, 'There are so many mountain peaks in the world, but only here do the peaks form a forest.' According to the shape of the peak forest, it is divided into five major types: arrayed peak forest, sword peak forest, dragon peak forest, arhat peak forest, and stacked hat peak forest. Each type has its own characteristics, standing independently interesting, and complementing other types of peak forests, forming a majestic and vast landscape. Wanfenglin Tourist Scenic Area has successively won titles such as 'National Key Scenic Spot' and 'China's Five Most Beautiful Peak Forests.'
