Church of Our Lady
Beautiful Catholic church built in gothic architectural style. The tranquility in such a busy city, the beauty of the building and the images, the charisma of the churchgoers indeed a very beautiful church and even more inside. I really liked the columns, the vault, the altar and the windows.
Good spirituality Constructive contribution to your inner development. This is possible here through the sacraments of communion and confession. There is also regular Adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament, also known as Exposition of the Most Blessed Sacrament.

sunset boat cruise in Amsterdam canals
This is a must do if you are in the city, the streets are too crowded with tourists and noisy. You want to getaway from the noise of the city but still appreciate the beauty of its canals and views from the water. It’s a totally different experience compared to walking around. 🛥
It’s not cheap but really worth your time and money. I will do it again if I’m back in Amsterdam. I will go for a champagne and cured meats with cheese. That will be perfect 👍🏻
For those who afraid of seasickness, fred not, this has no current no waves, just smooth magic carpet ride, smoother than limousine on the road. Therfore you can enjoy even a hot tea or coffee ☕️ on the boat.

Beautifulness of Amsterdam
Amsterdam in darkness was more beautiful than in daytime. pictures taken from the most iconic places. I really suggest!
The Canals of Amsterdam NL 🇳🇱
Amsterdam is filled with many different touristic attractions including the red light district, museums, parks, and more. The city is known for being mostly bike able and most of the locals prefer to ride a bike or scooter around the city to get most places.
One of the biggest attractions and most often seen in movies and television are the Canals of Amsterdam. They are known for being gorgeously blue in the summer and sometimes even frozen solid in the winter.
One may often see boats passing by in the canals and they are picturesque for many occasions.
If I’m the Netherlands, walk along the canals and embrace the culture as a local.

My favourite place in Europe
Getting There - In the midst of Amsterdam Central
Attractions - a system of canal
The three main canals in Amsterdam were dug during the 19th century, during the Dutch Golden Age. The canal ring area Prinsengracht, Keizersgracht, Herengracht and Jordaan were listed as UNESCO Heritage site in 2010.
A must-do thing is to get on a canal cruise to travel through these canals and explore all the heritage buildings surroi this area.
It’s interesting to see some of the slanted buildings and the way the Dutch re-inforced them.
Once you are more familiar with navigating around these canals, you can try to explore the neighborhood on foot and of course on bike.

Explore the Canals of Amsterdam
Similar to many other cities that sit over water such as Venice, Amsterdam has a vibrant canal system.
The pretty waterways are one of the best loved attractions in Amsterdam and you can explore the idyllic routes by taking a boat tour or a water taxi that lets you hop around a range of locations.
If you don’t want to take to the water then you can still enjoy the canal sights with a leisurely stroll along the banks.

#tripaway During a 50-year project in the 17th century Amsterdam grew to four times its previous size, becoming the 3rd largest city in the world after London and Paris.
Central to that plan was the Canal Belt, a network of concentric canals that is now UNESCO listed.
Built on reclaimed land, Amsterdam is a feat of ingenuity, and still crackles with the ambition, cultural tolerance and enterprise that drove the 17th-century Golden Age when the Netherlands led the world in trade, maritime power, culture and economic might.
This is the city of Rembrandt, Anne Frank, the Red Light District, Johan Cruyff, and the Dutch East and West India Companies; there’s a world of fascinating stories, spellbinding art and architecture that has stood the test of time.

#tripaway I will always keep Amsterdam in my heart as one of the most charming cities I’ve ever been to! Amsterdam is colloquially known as Venice of the North because of its lovely canals that criss-cross the city, its impressive architecture and more than 1,500 bridges. There is something for every traveller's taste here; whether you prefer culture and history, serious partying, or just the relaxing charm of an old European city. #amsterdam #holland #netherlands #europe

Amsterdam is a city surrounded by a canal, and one of the modes of travel that is worth traveling is to take a canal cruise. You can use the Amsterdam Card for free rides. Otherwise you need to buy a ticket separately, like an adult 16 euros. Sitting on the blue boat this shipping company. There will be headphones on the boat, and the headphones will be voiced in more than 20 languages. The whole journey takes about 1 hour and you can take photos all the way.
The cruise ship sails on the canal, the colored houses lined up on both sides of the canal, the weather is good, the green trees and the blue sky of the riverside trees are matched, it is really very commentary. And the weather is good, the sun is shining in the cabin, I feel very comfortable. You can also take photos all the way, and use the wide angle to shoot the scenery. If you need to shoot portraits, try to shoot as far as possible. A wide-angle lens can definitely take good pictures.
After arriving in Amsterdam, the first stop came to the canal belt in the city centre. The
Amsterdam Canal Belt has a history of 400 years and has developed into a 75-kilometer canal network of more than 160 canals and 1,281 bridges. It is a well-deserved "water city".
Amsterdam is centered on the central railway station and is spread over the curved Seagul, Gentleman Canal, Emperor Canal, Princes Canal and the outermost Sear Canal. Its main attractions are concentrated around 1.5 km. Radius in the canal.
Small cruises, boat cruises are the best way to experience the charm of Amsterdam's waters. Through the glass roof and glass windows, you can enjoy the 17th century gabled buildings on both sides of the river. They are colorful and different in shape. And a sense of history.
The Netherlands is a bicycle kingdom, so bicycles can be seen everywhere. When mentioning a country known as the "king kingdom", people first think of China and the Netherlands. China has a certain number of bicycles, and it deserves to rank first in the world. In terms of the number of bicycles per person and the proportion of bicycles traveled, the Netherlands far exceeds China.
Take a glass boat tour of Amsterdam city. Amsterdam is a water city. To appreciate the flavor of the water city, you must take a sightseeing cruise in Amsterdam. On the boat you can often find the sights you noticed while walking on the street.
TIPS:
Cruises are more suitable for a one-hour day trip. Of course, in addition to the cruise arrangement of the Viking River, individuals can also choose to board the ship at the terminal in front of Amsterdam Central Station. The tour boat for each route runs every 15-30 minutes. Surrounded by the canals of Amsterdam, the dense canal waterways divide the streets and lanes of the city one by one. The flocks of seagulls dance in the waterways and the rooms, bullying the ducks that are foraging in the water, like the Venice of the north. . Amsterdam is old and very tasteful. The houses on both sides of the canal have a history of nearly 300 years, which is absolutely unimaginable in the sky. All three- and four-story small buildings are carefully decorated in blue, green and red, so cute as toys.
In fact, the houses in Amsterdam are very narrow and can only be accessed by one person. It is said that there was a strange law in the ancient times. The bigger the door, the more taxes were paid. The smart Dutch had to make the door as small as possible to avoid the high tax, but the windows were made very large, and the furniture was everything. The window is lifted in and out. Careful observation will reveal that there are several protruding iron hooks on the top of all small buildings, which are used to fix the ropes used for lifting items.
Amsterdam is one of the world-famous city that never sleeps, but in the days before the night, Amsterdam is surprisingly peaceful and peaceful, as if it is not leaving the sun, not letting this sunset, not every minute before the night.
The St. Nicholas Cathedral, which the sun has skipped, is like a faded photo that is very artistic.
In the evening, the Amsterdam canal is full of tourists.
Away from the riverside of the old town, the bicycles that are parked here alone, without handbrakes~
night, the nightlife in Amsterdam is about to begin, and the street lights are also on. At this time in Amsterdam, a quiet charm came out. We are on the streets and look forward to seeing the different side of Amsterdam.
Night St. Nicholas Cathedral is also so beautiful, just because of the time difference, we did not enjoy the more organic life at night, and returned to the hotel soon after entering the night, but these hours before the night will be engraved in my mind forever!
A magical water world in Eminem, unlike Venice's busy, Eminem's canal belt is rather leisurely. In addition to the rushing bicycle, it seems that no one is here. The hh/Amsterdam Canal Belt has a history of 400 years. The 75-kilometer canal network of more than 160 canals and 1,281 bridges is spread out through the curved Singer Canal, the Gentleman Canal, the Emperor Canal, the Princes Canal and the Brewers Canal. The good way is to take a cruise on the gable and look at the bridge. If you can live here for a few years, the unique charm of Amsterdam will be more attractive.
A small fishing village was built here in the late 12th century, and then due to the development of trade, Amsterdam became the world's important port in the golden age of the Netherlands. In that era, the city was the center of finance and diamonds. In the 19th and 20th centuries, the city expanded and many new neighborhoods were formed with suburban residential areas. Now the fourth largest airport in Europe
Amsterdam's Canal Charm
Amsterdam, with its intricate network of canals and historic narrow houses, offered an experience where history, art, and the vibrancy of urban life converge in a harmonious blend. My visit to this Dutch capital was an exploration of a city that thrives on its waterways, bicycles, and the open-minded spirit of its inhabitants.
Navigating the city by bike, I followed the winding paths alongside the canals, each turn revealing picturesque bridges, flower-adorned houseboats, and the timeless architecture of the canal houses. These buildings, with their gabled facades, speak volumes of Amsterdam's golden age in the 17th century, now serving as backdrop to the city's lively present.
The Jordaan district, with its narrow lanes and hidden courtyards, was a highlight of my exploration. Once a working-class area, Jordaan is now known for its boutique shops, art galleries, and the Anne Frank House, which stands as a poignant reminder of the city's history during World War II. The tranquility of the inner gardens, known as 'hofjes,' provided a serene escape from the bustling streets.
Evenings in Amsterdam revealed the city's contemporary vibe, with the Red Light District and the bustling Leidseplein and Rembrandtplein offering insights into the liberal attitudes that define the Dutch capital. The blend of historic pubs, modern bars, and the vibrant nightlife scene underscored Amsterdam's reputation as a city that celebrates diversity and freedom.
Amsterdam, with its canal charm, artistic legacy, and the warm hospitality of its residents, is a city that welcomes all who seek to understand its past while engaging with its dynamic present. My journey through Amsterdam was not just a visit to a destination but an immersion into a way of life that cherishes freedom, creativity, and the simple joy of being connected to water and history.

Amsterdam Adventure
As the sun dipped below Amsterdam's picturesque canals, I embarked on an exhilarating adventure to explore the city's legendary nightlife. The evening started at the famous Red Light District, where neon lights illuminated the narrow streets lined with bustling bars and clubs.
Intrigued by the city's diverse culture, I wandered into a local jazz café, mesmerized by the live music and the vibrant atmosphere. From there, I delved into the electronic dance scene, immersing myself in the pulsating beats of renowned clubs.
Eager to embrace the city's alternative side, I joined an underground party in an industrial warehouse, dancing alongside locals and international party-goers until the early hours of the morning.
Fueling up with delicious Dutch snacks from a night market, I strolled along the illuminated canals, enchanted by the magical reflections. As dawn approached, I found myself on a rooftop terrace, watching the city awaken with a sense of wonder.

Explore Amsterdam beyond the cafes
Take the train from the airport, it lands you right in the centre.
If you are a planner book the Van Gogh museum & Anne Frank House way before you arrive!
All other museums you don’t have to pre book
The evening river cruise is totally worth it, you can book a basic one, wine & cheese or full dinner. It’s great to watch the sun set while meandering down the canals.
Wander back through all the canals and you will see the amazing canals all lit up.
