Harbourfront Centre Boleh Boleh
#meetsingapore
A localised food court inside Harbourfront Centre and their location is right outside Harbourfront Cruise Centre. The word “Boleh '' is a Malay word meaning “Can '' and over here at the food court, you can spot localised designs of Singapore back in the olden times. They have wooden benches and many paintings of Singapore’s history. The tiles used here are also of Peranakan designs. It resembles a hawker centre style with its rich mulit-cultural stalls. This food court is also Halal certified and suitable for the Muslims. You can enjoy hawker style food in a comfortable environment with air-conditioning. Their prices are also reasonable and a great place to come here during lunch break if you are working nearby.
National Day Celebrations Harbourfront Centre
#meetsingapore
This area was created to celebrate National Day. The mall has decorated a vacant shop plot for part of the celebration, a special event at Harbourfront Centre. So I went over and took a look. It had the vibes of celebration and also introduced many of the traditional games played back in the 80s and 90s. There are also instructions on how to play these games, and many nice backgrounds for taking photos. You can play games like a life-size snake and ladder, learn about fun facts about HDB void decks and letter box, jump on hop-scotch and kick some chapteh. It was interesting for me when I was there.
Indoor playgrounds
#meetsingapore
Besides the kiddy rides, there are also many indoor playgrounds at Harbourfront Centre, you can place your children there. The playgrounds look fun and their prices are also reasonable. It is about $12 an hour and you can buy a 10/20 hours package and enrol as their member. There are also arcade games too and you can try your luck on their UFO catcher. It is very easy to pass time if you are here too early for your ferry departure. If you are looking for free activities then you can find out at their information counter. When I was there, they had an event space for National Day celebrations. There are also traditional games for you to try out.
Singapore Cruise Centre Departure Hall
#meetsingapore
This is a large space for the departure hall located on level 2 for all ferry departures. Usually, the ferries are heading towards Bintan and Batam at the Singapore cruise centre. There are few other cruise centres in Singapore e.g. Marina Bay Cruise Centre. So please check your departure cruise terminal carefully. At Singapore Cruise Centre, you will need to know if you are taking a ferry or a cruise because there are different entries. If you are early, there are many coffee shops and food courts within the same building to pass time. Have a great time cruising! Don’t forget to bring your passport.
Singapore Cruise Centre Ferry Tickets
#meetsingapore
You will be spoilt for choices here at Singapore Cruise Centre at Harbourfront centre. You can just come over, look at the departure timing and buy a ferry ticket to Indonesia even without planning. But you will need your passport before you can buy the ferry tickets. This cruise terminal is so convenient, right inside the shopping centre and just across Sentosa. Any tourists can also sail to nearby islands easily. If you want cheaper pricing then you can buy the tickets online (in advance) and then exchange your boarding pass at the ferry counter. For Singapore passports, there is no need for any visa applications to visit Indonesia so you can go as you wish.
Brighton Playground
#meetsingapore
If you have been to Harbourfront on weekend mornings, you will know that it is very crowded with children. This is because there are so many education classes taking place here. The parents will be bringing their children to their classes and waiting for them to finish. So you can see there are many eateries operating in the morning too. If you are on the ground level, there is a playground here opened by one of the education centres. Its exact location is right outside the Harbourfront shopping mall. It was closed when I tried to enter but that was during the lockdown period. So please check again when you want to go.
Harbourfront Cable Car Tower
#meetsingapore
Come right here to embark on your cable car entry into Sentosa Singapore. You can buy tickets when you arrive but it will be better to buy online and you can make use of the discounts. The cable car tower at Harbourfront is in between Sentosa and Mount Faber. So you can take a round trip towards Mount Faber then again towards Sentosa. The ride is not scary and there are not many slopes either. So no need to be afraid. If you are looking for a cheaper way to enter Sentosa, you can consider using Sentosa express which has free entry until the end of the year. It is a train from vivocity and you can take it all the way to the beach station.
New Age Kiddy rides to entertain kids
#rarefindsinsg #waystoentertainkids #familytime #kiddyrides #ideastoentertainkids
If you are planning to take your kids for a fun day out at Sentosa and it happens to be raining, or am bored after shopping at Vivo city or Harbourfront Centre, this can be a time killer while waiting for the rain to stop.
Found this kiddy rides place which caught my eye as it has simulations of different tracks and paths once your kids sit in it - they can choose to direct the ride they want to see. These rides do cost more so for those on a tighter budget, normal rides are also available.
They have more than 10 different rides all at level 2 of the HarbourFront centre so do check Patsfield ride when you pop by HarbourFront centre.

Singapore’s #1 supermarket

The number of Don Don Donki supermarkets have skyrocketed in Singapore, with branches popping up everywhere! This supermarket sells Japanese products that are of pretty good quality, as well as a wide range to choose from.
If you are departing or arriving here at HarbourFront Centre, this is a very convenient place to pick up any last-minute necessities or snacks. Be sure to try out the unique flavours of instant noodles!

Tuckshop local delights
Address - Tuckshop Coffee Shop, HarbourFront Centre, 1 Maritime Square, #03-19/20, Singapore 099253
One of the places to grab a quick and cheap bite either just before boarding or alighting from your ferry cruise. Quite a number of food choices to pick from. My husband and I had different verdicts about the same plate of fried rice, where I found it fairly normal but he thought it was pretty good. There are also classic Indian and halal options.
My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ferry trip to Batam
Taking a solo trip to Batam from Singapore is quite easy and convenient. You can buy a ticket online, they have many time slots to choose from for departure.
Once you get to the HarbourFront Centre ferry terminal, head to the respective counters to collect your ticket as you will need this to board the ferry.
With some time to spare in between, I went to check out the different shops at the nearby shopping mall. You can get any last minute necessities here.
When your boarding time is called, head to immigration and board the ferry! Immigration queues were pretty fast on a Friday night.
My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Enchanted origami garden at HarbourFront
Address - HarbourFront Centre, 1 Maritime Square, Singapore 099253
When my husband and I were shopping at HarbourFront Centre, we saw this interesting pop-up display at the mall’s atrium. According to the signboard, the mall was hosting origami-related activities in different spaces. Visitors are welcome to take part in those activities at the exhibition space on level 2 of the mall.
I thought the tulips on display was amazing as each petal is actually an origami paper that looked painstakingly pieced together. There were quite a number of kids running in and out of the area so it was quite worrying that they may damage the crafted tulips.
My overall rating of the experience: 3 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Smooth Journey from Singapore to Batam
#weekendgetaways #batam #terminal #harbourfront #ferry #seatransport #majesticfast #seatravel
We recently had the pleasure of taking a ferry from the Harbour Front Centre terminal in Singapore to Sekupang Batam, and it was truly a seamless and enjoyable journey.
From the moment I stepped into the Harbour Front Centre terminal, I was impressed by the organized and efficient boarding process. The staff were courteous and assisted passengers with ease. The terminal itself is well-maintained and offers a range of amenities, making the pre-departure experience comfortable.
The ferry ride itself was smooth, and the scenic views of the sea and neighboring islands added to the overall experience.
Arriving at Sekupang Batam, the disembarkation process was as organized as the boarding. The terminal at Sekupang is well-equipped. We chose this terminal because of the relatively quiet neighborhood, much less crowded than the other terminals at Batam, making the customs and immigration procedures swift and hassle-free.
Celebrate Christmas at HarbourFront Centre
#christmas2023
The Christmas season is here! At HarbourFront Centre, you will get to explore Santa’s Toy Factory Adventure. There are so many things you can do such as taking pictures at the different spots around the shopping centre and there is even a Santa Activity!
There is something for everyone from the young to old. Out of the numerous photo spots around the shopping centre, I like the Santa Nap Zone!
A place to take ferry
#bucketlistreboot
Harbourfront Centre located 1 Maritime Square, Singapore 099253, just on top Mrt Station Harbourfront ( Northeast and Circle line ). It open from 10 AM to 10 PM daily.
Harbourfront is a waterfront district in the southern part of Singapore facing Sentosa, refurbished from the former World Trade Centre, the 13th storey Harbourfront centre is a mixed-use development comprising office and retail space, F&B outlets and an international cruise centre.

Kid-friendly indoor wonderland
Address - Sunshine Childhood Playland Indoor Playground, HarbourFront Centre, 1 Maritime Square, #02-53/54/55, Singapore 099253
HarbourFront Centre has a nice indoor playground complete with slides and a huge colourful ball pit! It is really kid-friendly, with mini jungle gyms and a hygienic alternative to a sand play pit too. Prices are around $12 per hour but if you’re planning to return, you can consider getting a package at a discounted rate.
On the external facing side, there are also claw machines with super cute stuffed toys!
My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
