Compared to Phuket, Koh Samui has more of a tropical island feel because it is densely covered with coconut groves and islands, the distance between the islands is very close, and the commercial life and entertainment facilities are also very rich.

Koh Samet is about 3~4 hours away from Bangkok, near Pattaya, it is a lesser-known white sand beach, not so commercialized.

🏝️Krabi
Krabi is more like a hidden island town in the mountains, with a slow pace of life, not only has a pure blue coastline, but also a unique karst landscape.
-
🏝️Phi Phi Island
Phi Phi Island is an offshore island of Krabi, the towering mountains on the sea paired with the blue sea water is breathtaking, the natural rock caves formed between the mountains are even more surprising
-
🏝️Similan
The Similan Islands are a national marine park, with excellent ecological protection, composed of 9 islands, extremely suitable for snorkeling!!
-
🏝️Koh Chang
Koh Chang is also a small island with a well-protected ecological environment, there are many undeveloped islands around, many beaches and primitive forests have not been developed, full of natural quiet atmosphere!
-
🏝️Koh Lipe
Koh Lipe is located on the southernmost coast, bordering Malaysia, away from the hustle and bustle, not overly developed, the ecological environment is very good, known as the small Maldives of Thailand, is a diving paradise in Thailand.

Out Island Day Tour from Ko Samat
600 BAHT per person for a day tour out island.
We waited at one of the shops at the beach at 11am. Took the speed boat 🚤 from the other side of the island.
Firstly, we got on one of the outbound islands for buying the national nature ticket.
Stayed for half an hour and went to the second island for lunch. We spent the time there with some swimming and walking on the floating platform.
Then we got on-board and went to the last island where we did snorkeling for around 2 hours. Kids can also do snorkeling. The tour guide would prepare the snorkeling kits for each person. But bare in mind that do not leave any of the parts on the island because it is violating the nature policy.
At last, we went back at around 4pm. It is a nice experience.

Koh Samed, first trip to a beautiful sandy beach with clear blue water, amazing!"
#Where should I travel this summer?
Sai Kaew Beach Resort The first time I was impressed with the seaside accommodation with beautiful white sandy beaches like this, crystal clear blue sea water. There is a beach bar to sit on the beach, the photo corner is very good. The highlight that must be visited is the heart-shaped tree by the sea. This corner gives a very Korean feel. There are many types of rooms to choose from.
Admin will be a Deluxe Premier Room, decorated in modern style, looks clean. There is a jacuzzi to soak in and a balcony. There are 2 types of swimming pools to choose from. In the evening, sit and have dinner overlooking the sea at the winkks Beach Club, decorated in Balinese style. There are plenty of food menus to choose from, both Thai and international. Let me tell you that the taste is delicious and right in the mouth. During the day, there is also a cafe zone where you can sit and sip coffee and chill bakery. The breakfast buffet line here is extremely satisfying for anyone who is looking for a beautiful seaside destination not far from Bangkok. Recommended here. Koh Samet, Rayong Province, come here and you won't be disappointed.

Exotic Island in the East of Thailand 🏝️
Now that the pandemic has cooled down and the strict requirement of presenting an ATK result has been canceled, many travellers will choose Ko Samet or Samet Island as their weekend getaway again.
This island is actually a part of Rayong province not far from the well-known city of Pattaya. It's around 2 hours and 45 minutes drive from Bangkok.
I usually go to Nuanthip Pier at Baan Phe to get a ferry ride to the island. A round trip ticket will cost you 120 baht for the slow boat. But you can choose to go on a shared speed boat ride for 300 baht.
This island has many cool night clubs, but the most popular one should be the iconic Silver Sand Bar at Ao Phai. Go there on a long weekend and you'll see what I mean.

Koh Samet is a picturesque island worth falling in love with - its fine sand, clear, turquoise water, exotic nature, tropical rainfall, especially romantic and cozy. Samet Island in Thailand is striking in its amazing resemblance to a photograph of the Bounty paradise. And most importantly, you can enjoy all this splendor 80 km from Pattaya

Tired of city life? Want to relax and breathe in fresh air? Koh Samet is the perfect place for you. It is avery easy ride or trip to other part of Thailand. How to Get to Koh Samet? You can easily make your own way to the island by taking a public bus, minibus, or private taxi southeast from Bangkok to the Nuan Thip Pier in Ban Phe, just outside of Rayong. The drive takes between 3 – 4 hours, depending on how stupendous Bangkok's traffic is on that particular day. Koh Samet is considerably closer to Bangkok. This makes the island an ideal weekend getaway destination if you need to leave the hustle and bustle of the city for a while and would like to spend time on the beach. 🏝☀️👙

“Ko Samet” is so popular with foreign tourists and as a weekend getaway for residents of nearby Bangkok, Thailand.

In Rayong, Thailand, there is a quiet and serene island, Koh Samui, surrounded by many small islands, beautiful scenery and convenient transportation, which can be easily reached from Pattaya or Bangkok.
Step on the green sandy beach, walk through the yellow mottled stone house, and the narrow stone road leads to the blue sea. Walk on the island and listen to the blue Mediterranean winds and enjoy the ancient orange sunshine of Koh Samet.
Come here from the bustling city, like a long time-space tunnel, which maintains a rustic appearance: the winding paths of the island, the magnificent blue sea, in the embrace of enthusiasm It is especially affectionate and charming.

It's not the sea that's beautiful, but the mood of watching the sea
Koh Samet is only an hour's drive from the famous Pattaya. With its clear waters and white sands, coconut breezes and green shadows, it is known as 'Paradise Island'. The island is a national park, with several natural beaches on the east coast. The sand is as fine and soft as flour, and tropical fruits and seafood are both high-quality and affordable. The sunset on the west coast is very famous.
---------
🚤 About transportation: To get to the island, you need to take a speedboat 🚤, which takes about 20 minutes and is quite thrilling. If you're timid, you can sit towards the back, as the front gets hit by waves 🌊 and you'll experience a strong sense of weightlessness❗️ Alternatively, if you're good with languages, you can choose to take a cargo ship, which docks at a different pier ⛵️. Just navigate 🧭 there, and it costs 150 Thai Baht, but it takes about an hour, so you can enjoy the sea at leisure.
🏄 About activities: 1⃣️ All hotels sell tickets for island tours by boat 🚢. The whole trip usually takes 3-5 hours. You can take a motorboat, which includes lunch, snorkeling, fishing, and a fruit feast. 2⃣️ You can also rent a car to tour the island (like a small pickup truck 🛻), which costs 400 Thai Baht per vehicle and stops at stations, covering the whole island. 3⃣️ If you can ride, you can rent a motorcycle 🏍️.
🍴 About restaurants: There are many beautiful restaurants along the coast 🍴, with fireworks shows at night and open until late. The average cost per person is less than 100 RMB. If you're looking for value for money, you can also visit the island's commercial street, which has many snacks and very fresh, large coconuts 🥥.
💰 About shopping: 1⃣️ The island entry fee is 200 Thai Baht. 2⃣️🐎 Horse riding 🐔 is 60 RMB/hour, which doesn't feel as good as in Bangkok, but it's still relaxing. 3⃣️ There are many 7-Elevens on the island, with two dogs 🐶 lying at the entrance all year round. 4⃣️ There's a wide variety of swimwear 🩱, and prices are generally fixed. 5⃣️ Public restrooms 🚻 and showers 🛁 charge a fee 💰6⃣️ See below for additional information ⬇️
Should I visit Koh Samet in Thailand? Absolutely
Definitely go to 🇹🇭 Just got back from Thailand and I'm already missing it🥰
I had a pretty tight schedule this time with less than four days to play
So I chose Koh Samet, which is close to Bangkok🏝️
We spent a day in Bangkok, and the rest was left for Koh Samet!
🚌Took the 11 AM bus from Bangkok's Eastern Terminal and arrived at the pier after more than 3 hours!
🚤Got off the bus, then bought a speedboat ticket and got on board right away, and in about 10 minutes we successfully landed on the island! There's an island entry fee of 200🐷 per person, remember to keep the ticket after paying, as you'll need it if you go island hopping!🎫
Stayed for two nights, the first day was spent at Diamond Beach🏖️ for a while, took photos at Coco's, and in the evening enjoyed seafood and watched the fire-spinning show, which starts around 7:30 PM, and almost every place has it!
👉🏻The next morning went to the most beautiful beach, indeed prettier than Diamond Beach! (Photos will be posted separately) In the afternoon, went to a beach where you can snorkel and see fish!
In the evening, a Thai massage is a must, costing 300🐷 for 60 minutes at each place (really comfortable)
👉🏻On the third day, we headed back around noon, just played at the hotel's private beach for a while
🏝️There are three 7-Elevens on the island, and for street food, I recommend the biggest stall next to 7-Eleven!
Also, you must try the coconut shaved ice! Absolutely must! I had one almost every day
If you have any more questions, feel free to leave a comment and ask me~
If you travel to Thailand and don't come here to play, you will definitely regret it when you return
On the beaches of Koh Samet, the white sand meets the blue sea, and the waves churn under the sunlight, shimmering and breathtakingly beautiful.
We originally planned to go snorkeling🏊, but we didn't prepare enough and missed the boat departure time, which was a bit disappointing.
However, cycling around the island brought us a pleasant surprise!
Renting a motorcycle, feeling the sea breeze on your face, is free and comfortable!🏝️
In the evening, sitting by the sea, watching the sunset sprinkle on the sea, the golden light is intoxicating.🌅
📌Tip: Remember to be ready to board before 12 o'clock if you want to snorkel, or you'll have to wait until the next day.
📍Location: Koh Samet, Thailand, east of Pattaya.
🚌Transport: Bangkok Eastern Bus Station→Ban Phe Pier→Boat to the island.
💰Cost:
Bus 184 baht/minibus 200 baht,
Round-trip big boat 120 baht/speedboat 300 baht,
Motorcycle rental 300 baht/24 hours
Snorkeling/600 baht
Nine lesser-known islands in Thailand, fulfilling your winter sea-viewing dreams, with stunning scenery
🌅Koh Kram
This is an island near Pattaya that is easily overlooked by tourists. The entire island is lush with trees, uninhabited, and the beaches on the island are designated as turtle conservation areas. With no other human destruction and pollution, it is ideal for swimming, snorkeling, and sunbathing.
🌅Koh Samet
The entire Koh Samet is a national park. Koh Samet is close to the coastline of the Rayong area, surrounded by coral reefs. There are many activities on Koh Samet at night, and the fire dance show on the beach is worth watching.
🌅Koh Mun Nork
If you are particularly looking forward to a unique natural atmosphere with only the sky and the sea, Koh Mun Nork can satisfy you. This is a private island with only one resort on the island, and the round trip between the island and the mainland can only rely on the resort's private boats.
🌅Koh Phayam
Forbes magazine once rated Aow Yai beach on Koh Phayam as the most beautiful beach in Asia, but what is really fascinating here is its quaint and quiet old-time atmosphere. The slow pace of life seems to take you back to the old seaside fishing village.
🌅Koh Tao
Koh Tao is one of the most popular diving spots in Thailand. The underwater world here is extraordinarily exciting: barracuda, grouper, scorpionfish, clownfish, eels, corals, and even turtles and whale sharks, you may encounter them when diving.
🌅Koh Phangan
There are three particularly famous full moon party venues in the world, and Koh Phangan is one of them. The all-night revelry and the full moon party that straddles the edge of black and white attract more and more Chinese people to explore this island.
🌅Koh Kradan
In various articles like 'Thai islands you can't miss', Koh Kradan will be listed. In addition to having perfect waters for diving, there are also two famous beaches on the island, Paradise Beach and Sunset Beach.
🌅Koh Tarutao
The meaning of Koh Tarutao in Malay is 'old, primitive, mysterious'. Some people will visit the abandoned prison as one of the adventure activities on the island, but more people are still more fascinated by the island's pristine scenery. Ao Son Beach is known as the most beautiful beach on the island, especially at sunset, the entire sky and the sea in front of you are dyed with a fantastic smoky red color.
🌅Koh Adang
There are two waterfalls on the island, the east side of the island is a 200-meter-long white beach, and surprisingly, there is also a high-quality black beach on the island. The sea is full of coral reefs and other corals, including marine life living along the coral reefs: such as starfish, sea urchins, rock salt fish, mud fish, parrotfish, etc.
Ko Samet, an island off Thailand's eastern Gulf coast, offers stunning beaches, vibrant nightlife, and water activities like snorkeling and diving. Visitors often rave about the crystal-clear waters, relaxed atmosphere, and delicious seafood. Whether you're seeking adventure or relaxation, Ko Samet has something for everyone.

Transportation to Koh Samed from Bangkok
✈️ Airport: Public transportation is quite troublesome, it is recommended to take a bolt or grap taxi to Nuanthip Pier, which costs about 2000-3000🐷. We took a taxi from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Pattaya and stayed for one night, then took a taxi to Nuanthip Pier the next morning

Thailand|Less crowded romantic beach—Samed Island
I was amazed by Samed Island in Thailand at first sight, it's incredibly beautiful and transparent, with few people and stunning scenery. Here's a guide to the attractions of Samed Island:
Attraction name: Samed Island
Samed Island is located on a small island in the Gulf of Thailand, with a fairy-tale natural beach. The beach is white, clean, and romantic; the sea water is clear and bright, very blue, with distinct layers; stepping on the soft sand is very comfortable, the atmosphere is full, suitable for calming down and experiencing slow life.
Samed Island has an excellent geographical location, a good place to watch the sunset, with complete facilities, superb environment, suitable for beach walks, sunbathing, experiencing water amusement projects, quiet and comfortable, relaxing, a paradise for leisure vacations, the island has "eat, drink, play, live" all in one, it's worth a visit.
Experience:
The overall experience is super nice, incredibly beautiful, comfortable and easy, it's easy to take pictures, very satisfied with the overseas trip.

Romantic trip to Samui Island, Thailand🇹🇭
⭐Fly from Nanjing to Bangkok, it is recommended to take a noon flight. There are actually many direct flights from Nanjing to Bangkok, but for us, it's too early or too late are not suitable. Too early means getting up early and too late means staying up late, so we chose a noon flight. After arriving in Bangkok, we took a private car to the hotel for check-in. In the evening, we went out for food and strolled in the night market, not in a hurry, the timing was just right!
⭐Bangkok Samui Island, to feel the tranquility of time, the sunset accompanies you to old age. After breakfast, our exclusive driver took us to Ban Phe Pier, about 3 hours. Being abroad, researching transportation routes on our own is really energy-consuming, so having a private car is really great. Of course, if you are willing to explore on your own, that's also possible. You can take a boat or speedboat to Samui Island on the opposite side. We chose the speedboat, two words, exciting, about 20 minutes to reach Samui Island.
⭐The largest and most populous beach on Samui Island is Diamond Beach, but if you like quiet and sunset like us, be sure to pay attention when booking a hotel, choose one near Ao Prao Beach, the scenery is really too beautiful, everywhere is very photogenic.
⭐If you want to feel the romance of the sea and the freedom of the world as much as possible, please give at least 2 days to Samui Island. Our two days on Samui Island were basically free, eating, drinking, taking photos, swimming, watching the sea and watching the sunset. The gentle breeze in the evening, the seaside at sunset, a romantic journey in the world.

Samed Island, a healing island
Samed Island⭐ A healing island
⭐Samed Island is a quiet island near Bangkok, without too much commercialization and tourists, suitable for those who live in Thailand for a long time or have a long holiday to take a trip around Bangkok.
⭐The most economical way to get there from Bangkok is to take a bus at the bus station. When you get to the pier, there are big boats and speedboats to the island. The big boat takes about half an hour, and the speedboat takes 15 minutes. I took the big boat, anyway, I'm not afraid of time. The round trip of the big boat is 120, and the round trip of the speedboat is 300. When you get to Samed Island, it is recommended to rent a motorcycle for 300 a day, you can bargain for 500 for 2 days
⭐For accommodation, it is recommended to stay near Diamond Beach, which is more lively, with more delicious food, and close to the city center! There are not many restaurants on the island, and the price is a bit more expensive than Bangkok, after all, it is a scenic area! There is the most exciting fire dance performance on the island at 8 o'clock in the evening, and there is also a barbecue buffet nearby, with fresh ingredients, which is considered high cost-effective on the small island!
⭐Eat, drink, daze, take pictures, watch the sea, swim, watch the sunset, enjoy the beauty! There are recommended places to watch the sunset on the island, you can watch the sunset at sea,
Beautiful, comfortable, enjoy the island life!
From Rayong to Ko Samet, Thailand
After staying in Pattaya, I took one and a half hour and got to the Ao Prao Pier in Rayong. Having a nice and chill place beside the Pier and waiting for the ferry to Ko Samet.
Arriving the island, the admission fee for each person is required as it is a national park area. The seaside of the Ko Samet basically composes a few consecutive beaches. We stayed around Sai Kaew Beach. The sand is white and soft. It is very windy throughout the whole day. We had dinner under heavy wind, and it's a nice experience.
