Kuranda Scenic Railway, Cairns Queensland 🇦🇺

#thingstodo One of the highlights of our Cairns trip is none other than the Kuranda scenic railway. The railway is a spectacular journey winding its way from Cairns to Kuranda. Along the way, you get to enjoy scenic views such as the rainforests and waterfalls within the Barron Gorge National Park. Throughout the journey, there is also interesting commentary about the history of the railway. Well worth a visit! My rating: 4 ⭐️ out of 5!

Kuranda your way to the railway!

Kuranda Railway takes you around Barrons gorge and through the most beautiful scenery imaginable. Take this tour to enjoy the sky rail going up, the Duck boats that take you through the jungle and finally the railway. Be sure to get lunch included as it was delicious but the views were the most spectacular part. You won’t be disappointed! Just be sure to bring your own snacks or buy some before the train ride !
