The most famous building is Tenshukaku in Osaka Castle Park. It has several small gardens and courtyards and a moat outside. The river divides the park and the urban area. You can watch interesting folk performance in the small square nearby. An artificial hill southwest is the best angle to view Tenshukaku.

Osaka, Osaka City Park, Japan
early summer, the environment is fresh and green. How romantic is it more than a month ago? Imagine!
Osaka Castle Park is free, but Shoushouge charges. The Shouge is a large castle built during the Warring States Period in Japan. It is a military-related building and watchtower. At the same time, it is also the place where the city owner lives.
It's great for walking, taking pictures, and there are many people running, playing, camping and small group activities every day.

Osaka Castle's Tenshukaku: A must-visit ancient architecture on your trip to Osaka
I am Guanhai Tingtao tour+ a globetrotter, please follow me!
(Published the 1435th travel photography article in 51 countries across 5 continents)
Osaka Castle, located in Osaka Castle Park in Chuo Ward, Osaka City, Japan, is one of the famous attractions in Osaka.
Osaka Castle, along with Nagoya Castle and Kumamoto Castle, are listed as the three most famous castles in Japanese history. Built in the 16th century by Toyotomi Hideyoshi, it was the homestead of the Toyotomi clan.
The high and steep walls of Osaka Castle, as well as the broad moat, create a spectacular scene that is incomparable to any other ancient castle in Japan. The Tenshukaku is the core building of Osaka Castle and the most worthwhile place to visit in Osaka Castle Park. It is recommended to take the elevator to the top floor after entering, and then walk down the stairs floor by floor to save both time and effort.
The interior of the Tenshukaku is a museum, which exhibits the one-time overlord Toyotomi Hideyoshi and other well-known Japanese figures. From the top floor of the Tenshukaku, you can overlook the entire Osaka Castle.

Exploring Kansai, Japan | Visiting Osaka Castle, recording the fleeting beauty of history
✅ Osaka Castle, also known as "Golden Castle," is a symbolic structure of Osaka City, and is one of Japan's three most famous castles alongside Nagoya Castle and Himeji Castle.
❤ During the unification of Japan in the Momoyama period, Osaka Castle was the residence of the famous Japanese warlord Toyotomi Hideyoshi, serving as the core of the entire Toyotomi regime. Later, Tokugawa Ieyasu defeated the Toyotomi clan in two major battles, thereby establishing the Edo shogunate era in Japanese history.
🌟 There are two ways to ascend Osaka Castle. The first is to take an elevator directly to the fifth floor and then work your way down. Although this method saves energy, it requires queuing for the elevator, which often takes a long time, especially during peak seasons when it can take over half an hour. The second method is to walk up the stairs from the first floor, which, despite being more strenuous, is often the quickest way.
👍 Both the first and fifth floors offer audio guides in foreign languages for rent, and you can purchase your favorite souvenirs and gifts. On the second floor, there is a photo area where you can dress up as a Sengoku period warlord for 500 yen per photo. For those who love collecting commemorative stamps, you can use the blank pages of the Osaka Castle guidebook to collect stamps on both the first and second floors.
🕙 Opening hours: 9 AM to 5 PM (entry stops at 4:30 PM).
💰 Osaka Castle ticket prices: 600 yen, free for junior high school students and below.
📍 Location of Osaka Castle: 1-1, Osaka Castle, Chuo-ku, Osaka City.
🚉 Transportation information: Take the Tanimachi Line to Tanimachi 4-chome Station, exit at Temmabashi Station exit 3. For the Chuo Line, exit at Tanimachi 4-chome exit 9, or Morinomiya exit 1. For the Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi Line, exit at Morinomiya exit 3B.

One of Japan's historic castles, Osaka Castle!
It must be said, the park in front of Osaka Castle is really beautiful! Although the area is not large, the attractions are first-class and exquisite. 🤣
We took the subway to Morinomiya Station🚉, entered Osaka Castle Park🏞️ from there, passed by Toyokuni Shrine⛩️, strolled to Osaka Castle's Tenshukaku🏯, checked in, and then took a small train to Osaka Castle Station (note that the JR station and the subway station are not the same, you need to get off at the second station for JR!)
🏯Tenshukaku:
The Tenshukaku is located inside Osaka Castle, built by Toyotomi Hideyoshi, and is a famous castle known throughout the country, symbolizing Osaka. It served as a watchtower and lookout tower in military terms. At the same time, it was also the residence of the castle lord.
Visitors can climb to the top for a view, but the number of entrants is limited, so you may need to queue outside when it's crowded.
We didn't go inside for a visit! There were quite a few people in line, and I miss the QR code reservation system of domestic attractions in China. 🥲
🍃The forest paths in the park are cool and refreshing, the weather was great on the day we went, the moat water was very clear, and Japan's care for cats and dogs is visible everywhere, which is touching. 🥹
🐦⬛There are really a lot of crows in the park! Flying all over the woods!

Visiting Osaka Castle in Japan, one sees the city's landmark—the Tenshukaku Castle
Osaka Castle's Tenshukaku, located in Osaka Castle Park in Osaka City, is a historic castle park that symbolizes Osaka Castle and is a famous landmark, as well as an important historical and cultural heritage of Japan.
The Tenshukaku Castle was built by Toyotomi Hideyoshi, the founding hero of Japan, who unified Japan in 1587 and became a famous heroic figure in Japanese history. The Tenshukaku was burned down in the flames of war in 1615 and was rebuilt in 1931.
The Tenshukaku Park is a sea of flowers in all four seasons, with evergreen gardens, deep double moats, and tall stone walls that are still preserved to this day. The Tenshukaku Castle is magnificent, with its golden splendor, and the golden decorations on the roof shine against the white walls, forming the most beautiful and spectacular sight. The Tenshukaku houses about 8,000 artifacts and materials, including the Lotus Sutra fan surfaces collected in the temple, all of which are national treasures of Japan.
Every spring, when the cherry blossoms bloom in the park, they are beautifully fragrant, and Tenshukaku Park welcomes guests from all over the world.
When admiring the beautiful scenery in Osaka, don't miss the famous foodie paradise and gourmet street—Dotonbori, where a variety of delicious foods will satisfy your taste buds

Osaka Castle Main Tower (Osaka Castle Museum) Review
A fine example of detailed craftsmanship with a tremendous history and culture. The view from the 8th floor comes with the climb up the stairs (there is an elevator if needed). You can book on arrival, but it's cheaper to reserve using an online app. It was busy but still not overcrowded, and there was enough time to see the art, videos, and architecture of this magnificent building.
It is a very nice castle suitable for visiting both day and night.
Osaka Castle is a landmark that encapsulates both history and modern allure. Climbing up to the castle tower, you can look down upon the majestic scenery of the entire city of Osaka and feel the pulse of the city and the weight of history. Inside the castle tower, there is a museum that showcases the rich history and culture of Osaka Castle. From Toyotomi Hideyoshi's quest for unification of the world to the rule of the Tokugawa shogunate, each floor tells a different story.
In spring, the cherry blossoms in Osaka Castle Park add a soft hue to the ancient castle walls. Their light illuminates the castle tower at night, turning it into a shining pearl in Osaka's nightscape. Moreover, there are many food and shopping places around Osaka Castle, enriching the travel experience.
Whether you are a traveler with a deep understanding of Japanese history or a tourist seeking beautiful scenery and leisure, Osaka Castle is a place worth visiting.

Lesser-known attractions in Osaka! Osaka Museum of History
On the first day in Osaka, in order to avoid the crowd, I specifically went to a lesser-known attraction - the Osaka Museum of History.
There are two differences from domestic museums. 1, Japanese museums are not free, tickets are purchased at the front desk on the first floor. 2, Osaka Museum of History does not need to be reserved.
The Osaka Museum of History is next to Osaka Castle Park, which is an easily overlooked attraction.
Take the subway to Tanimachi 4-chome, and you will see the Osaka Museum of History and the NHK Osaka Broadcasting Bureau building when you come out.
The museum is not large, starting from the 10th floor, you can visit from top to bottom in turn, and you can overlook Osaka Castle Park at the corner of the stairs.
The museum fully introduces the development process of Osaka from the earliest Namba to becoming an international city step by step. Some exhibition halls also have children's archaeological interactions, and there are immersive restorations of ancient Osaka streets.
You can reserve 2 hours for a visit, or you can visit it on the same day as Osaka Castle Park.

Autumn Chasing Worldwide| Colorful Autumn in Osaka Castle Park
Colorful Autumn in Osaka Castle Park. As a major city in Japan, Osaka has basically become a must-visit place on a trip to Kansai. Some people come here for shopping, some for Universal Studios, and the aquarium, but because they come here, they still hope to experience this city in multiple dimensions, so following the Osaka tour card becomes the best choice.
☀Check-in location this time:
Osaka Castle Park
☘️Recommended gameplay:
1. Osaka Castle Tower is definitely a must-visit. It's beautiful to overlook the entire Osaka Castle from above.
2. The Osaka Castle Nishinomaru Garden in the park is also a famous place for maple viewing. Don't miss the maple season.
3. Friends with plenty of time can go to the Osaka Castle Goza Ship. If there are many people on the day, you can get the boat ticket in advance, and then consider whether to go to the castle tower first according to the time. We waited for a long time, thinking that we could go around the castle tower, but in fact, it was a very small area of water. It's not a pity for friends who don't have enough time to give up.
The park is very beautiful during the maple season, suitable for slowing down and feeling slowly.

If there were no beautiful cherry blossoms in the world, where could spring hearts find leisure?
🌸Every year in March and April, it is the best time to appreciate cherry blossoms in Japan. At this time, streets of all sizes in Japan are surrounded by pink. Appreciating cherry blossoms, also known as "hanami" in Japan, is like watching summer fireworks, and it is something that Japanese people must do every year.
🌸"Hanami" originated from ancient Japanese religious rituals praying for abundance. In the "Chronicles of the Land of Constantly Clear Skies", there are records of people holding singing parties on Mount Tsukuba during the spring flower season. In the early Heian period, "Hanami" became a festival for the court nobles, known as the "Banquet of Flowers", which began with a flower viewing and poetry recital held in 812 at the Shinzen Garden in Kyoto. After the Kamakura period, the custom of "Hanami" also became popular among the samurai class. Since the Edo period, "Hanami" has been popular among the common people in cities such as Edo, and many "famous places" for flower viewing have appeared.
🌸Nowadays, having a picnic under the blooming cherry blossom trees is a typical Japanese tradition during the cherry blossom season. People gather under the trees to eat, drink, play, and have fun - during the day, in addition to enjoying the flowers themselves, they drink sake, eat flower-shaped rice cakes, bento boxes, and fruit. At night, they can enjoy the night cherry blossoms, and many parks also hang paper lanterns. In most parts of Japan, the cherry blossom season is also the time for starting and graduating from school, so the theme of gatherings is often related to this.
🌸In Osaka, there are many places to enjoy cherry blossoms, and one of the most popular places for locals is Osaka Castle. Osaka Castle is known as Japan's number one castle, with over 4,000 cherry blossom trees within the castle grounds. The best spot to view cherry blossoms is the observation deck of the castle's main tower, where you can enjoy both the panoramic view of Osaka city and the beautiful cherry blossoms.
🌸And Osaka Castle Park is the dedicated venue for people to gather and appreciate cherry blossoms. On the day when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, it seems that everyone in Osaka has come here. There is no empty space under each tree, and the flower clouds are floating above the heads, while the laughter and joy are heard under the trees. At this moment, people forget about work pressure, life troubles, academic stress, and daily anxiety, and turn this day into a scenery in the eyes of tourists.

Osaka Castle is the home of Toyotomi Hideyoshi, alias "Golden City" or "Kincheng", and Nagoya Castle and Kumamoto Castle are the three famous cities in Japan's history. The beautiful and spectacular Tianshou Pavilion was rebuilt in the sixth year of Showa. It is magnificent and inlaid with gold and gold. It is very spectacular. There is a moat around the city wall, and there are beautiful gardens and pavilions nearby. Strolling along the river, the flowers are different, full of green, full of poetic and artistic.

When I came to Osaka, I felt that I should visit Osaka Castle! My mentality may be like the foreign tourists coming to Beijing and want to see the Forbidden City! It feels like an important landmark of a city and has a very important cultural significance.
Osaka Castle and Nagoya Castle and Kumamoto Castle are three cities in Japan's history, alias "Golden City" or "Kincheng". It was the home of Toyotomi Hideyoshi at the earliest. Later, after Tokugawa Ieyasu attacked it, it became a stronghold of the Tokugawa shogunate. In short, it was a very important place in Japanese history.
When it was the Second World War, this was the attacking position that the US military aimed at. The original castle was almost destroyed by artillery. Now, the Osaka City we saw was later rebuilt by the private fund. It is interesting that it is not faithful. Copying the Toyotomi or Tokugawa era, basically based on the white paint style of the Tokugawa era, but the top layer reproduces the black lacquer gold style of the Toyotomi era, which is a mix and match! The scenery of Osaka Castle Park near
Ten Shoucheng is very beautiful, especially in the autumn, red, yellow, green, colorful, like a fairy tale.
Recommended tour time: 2 hours
There is a children's play in Osaka Castle, which is also suitable for playing with the baby. The environment is very good and the trees are green.

The castle tower is the center of the castle. He is not only a strong military defense facility, but also a symbol of the political power and status of the local name or city owner. The name of the Tianshou Pavilion first appeared in the early 16th century. The Warring States Period was the most prosperous period of development of the Tianshou Pavilion. The earliest recorded Tianshou Pavilion was built in the early 16th century. The oldest preserved now is the Inuyama Castle. Osaka Castle and Nagoya Castle and Kumamoto Castle have become three famous cities in Japan's history. On the weekend, locals came to visit a lot, and this is the first attraction to see a large-scale Chinese tour group. After climbing up, it is divided into two groups: climbing stairs and taking the elevator. It takes the elevator to go directly to the fifth floor. It has been queued for nearly one hour, so decisively take the stairs. This kind of more historical point of view can only be said to be a card type. Attractions, after all, do not understand. Show the travel card, or the staff can scan to enter, directly take the stairs, Tianshou Pavilion a total of five floors, 1-4 for the exhibition area, of which 3rd floor 4th floor is forbidden to take pictures, 5th floor is a sightseeing area, due to the high terrain, A view of the surrounding city view of Osaka. The Xiqiao Maru Court next to Osaka Castle is like a small park, but the winter vegetation is almost withered. The tickets are free of charge. We only walked to the entrance and saw that there was no one inside. Walk for 5 minutes from the Tianshou Pavilion.

Osaka Castle Park is one of the commemorative events of Emperor Showa of Japan. The Osaka Castle Castle Tower, which stands in the middle of the park, is the most popular tourist punching place. Although the entire park is free, the Observatory Observatory and the History Museum need to pay an additional fee. At the top floor you can see the panorama. There are also forest parks, Osaka Castle Concert Hall, and baseball fields in the
park. In spring, it is also the best choice for cherry blossoms. There are more than 600 cherry blossoms in the park, which are wonderful and romantic. With the light green Tianshou Pavilion as the background, it is full of Japanese style.

The castle tower refers to the main building body in Osaka Castle. On the 13-meter-high Tianshang Terrace stands a 39.8-meter-high Tianshou Pavilion. The highest eighth floor can overlook the city of Osaka. The other floors show a variety of weapons, Toyotomi Hideyoshi's wooden statue. The book, the map, the battle map of the year, and the life of the Toyotomi Hideyoshi in terms of television and projection, and the model after the restoration of Osaka Castle. In the museum on the 2nd to 7th floors, you will see that the short Toyotomi Hideyoshi has become a hero of the world by a civilian. His glory is also a life of remorse, so Tianshouge is equal to knowing the Japanese warring States era. The best place. After being refurbished in 1997, today's Guard House has a white wall with green roof tiles, and at each end of the flying bream, it is decorated with gold and foil shaped tigers and faucets. The animal shape is quite magnificent.
