Oxford, England - the historic Oxford!
A 30-minute train ride from London will get you there. This place has been around since the 7th century. Of course, the most famous part of this town is the University of Oxford, and there are no walls between the school and the city. The old buildings you see on the streets include the Oxford Science Museum and the Oxford Museum. As you stroll around, you might accidentally wander into a university lecture hall, as the buildings all look quite similar.
They are all made of yellow stone, but with more refined construction, intricate relief sculptures, and windows of varying sizes and positions according to their function. The roads are also quite similar, as are the surrounding plants, so it's indeed easy to get lost. However, this integration of school and city makes Oxford uniquely different.

Beautiful fall foliage in Oxford!
Worcester college is not as well known as the other colleges in Oxford for tourist but it is definitely worth a visit. The gardens are spectacular, meticulously kept with sprawling green lawns and manicured gardens great for some nice pictures. Within the college compound lies a tranquil lake as well as a chapel which is considered a hidden gem with its stained glass windows that has witnessed history of this college. The fall colours are beautiful especially near to the Sultan Nazrin Shah Centre.
Highly recommended to drop by especially during autumn when you’re in Oxford!

Exploring Oxford's Charm and Boswell Shop
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Oxford, a historic city in England renowned for its prestigious university and captivating architecture. During my trip, I discovered the enchanting Boswell Shop, witnessed the stunning street architecture, and even had the opportunity to see hot air balloons drifting across the sky. Oxford's blend of cultural heritage, picturesque scenery, and unique experiences left an indelible mark on my journey.
Upon arriving in Oxford, I was immediately struck by the city's rich history and architectural beauty. The streets were lined with magnificent buildings, each adorned with intricate details and steeped in centuries-old charm. As I wandered through the city, I marveled at the stunning architecture that seamlessly blended Gothic, Neoclassical, and Victorian styles. The grandeur of the university buildings, such as the Radcliffe Camera and the Bodleian Library, was truly awe-inspiring.
During my exploration of Oxford, I stumbled upon the Boswell Shop, which proved to be a hidden gem. Located in the heart of the city, this beloved establishment has been a fixture in Oxford since 1738. As I stepped inside, I was transported to a different era, surrounded by shelves lined with books, stationery, and unique gifts. The cozy atmosphere and the scent of traditional leather bindings added to the shop's old-world charm. I spent hours perusing the vast collection, discovering rare editions and literary treasures that piqued my curiosity.
As I continued my journey through Oxford, I was fortunate to witness the breathtaking sight of hot air balloons gracing the sky. The gentle giants floated gracefully above the city, painting a colorful and whimsical scene against the backdrop of historic spires and rooftops. I couldn't resist capturing the moment with my camera, and the resulting photographs were nothing short of extraordinary. The juxtaposition of the hot air balloons against Oxford's timeless architecture created a captivating and memorable visual spectacle.
Beyond its architectural wonders and unique experiences, Oxford offered a wealth of cultural and intellectual pursuits. The city's museums and galleries showcased a vast array of art, history, and scientific discoveries. I had the opportunity to explore the Ashmolean Museum, which houses an impressive collection spanning thousands of years. The exhibitions were thoughtfully curated, providing a fascinating journey through time and diverse cultures.
Additionally, Oxford's vibrant culinary scene delighted my taste buds. From quaint tea rooms serving traditional British scones to contemporary bistros offering innovative cuisine, there was no shortage of gastronomic delights. I relished the chance to indulge in delectable treats and savor the flavors of both local and international cuisines.
