🎈【Sichuan Museum】
🙋Besides admiring the stunning exhibits, you can also see a large cultural relic that is over 500 years old.
Most people miss the northeast corner of the museum courtyard, where there is a three-meter-tall deity statue flanked by two statues of noblewomen.
🎐🎐🎐
🤔It is understood that the deity is the "River Deity," in charge of the Yangtze River.
⌚️The bronze statue of the River Deity was built in the sixth year of the Chenghua period of the Ming Dynasty by the donation of the Shu King.
⌛️Despite the passage of time, it still exudes an aura of majesty.
🌲Facing the River Deity and the two divine ladies, I feel fortunate to have discovered them while strolling in the garden after visiting the museum. It would have been a pity to miss them😭
🍃🍃🍃
🙋Communicating with the River Deity across time and space fills the heart with tranquility. When you visit the Sichuan Museum, don't miss out on paying homage to the deity of the Yangtze River.
‼️If you missed this awe-inspiring statue, make another trip to the Sichuan Museum~

Sichuan Museum is worth a visit!!!
Sichuan Museum is worth a visit!!!
The sudden appearance of the money tree reminds me of a book I read eleven years ago, which is full of bizarre experiences, and a bronze door opened my initial longing for the "Shu" land.
Shu, indeed is a wonderful place, the money tree of the Queen Mother of the West and Su Shi's Chibi Fu meet in the same space, I wonder what kind of story the bronze god tree in Sanxingdui will tell.

Sichuan Museum Adventure: A Treasure Quest in the River of History
Explore more, see more, feel more. After several days of travel, having experienced the awe of Sanxingdui and the accumulation of the Chengdu Museum, I seem to have developed a bit of aesthetic fatigue.
Why do we travel off-peak? There are no dazzling special exhibitions during the slack season, only the Russian children's illustrator's exhibition seems worth a look.
Facing each exhibit and conversing with the past, I saw many children either copying the exhibits or taking notes from the explanations. I am truly happy for these kids.
The contrast between this kind of growth and the obsession with electronic products is so obvious.
Here, I saw the seven-stringed qin from the Tang dynasty used for striking ice in Shijian.
I saw the world's majestic lion king thangka from the Qing dynasty.
I also saw the cheerful Eastern Han dynasty pottery figurines of storytellers...
Seeing the long history of this Brocade Official City, falling in love with a city doesn't take long.
A Brief Note on Sichuan Museum
The Sichuan Museum was established in 1941, with its predecessor tracing back to the West China Union Museum founded in 1914. It was later renamed as Sichuan Museum, West Sichuan People's Museum, Sichuan Provincial Museum, and other names.
In 2009, the new Sichuan Provincial Museum was completed and renamed as Sichuan Museum, which is open to the public for free. The new museum is located in the Huanhua Creek Historical and Cultural Scenic Area in Chengdu, adjacent to Du Fu Thatched Cottage, with a main building area of 32,026 square meters and an exhibition hall area of 9,715.9 square meters. It is the largest cultural benefit project in Sichuan Province during the 'Eleventh Five-Year Plan' period.
The Sichuan Museum currently has permanent exhibitions such as 'Ancient Sichuan·Prehistoric Period', 'Ancient Sichuan·Pre-Qin Period', 'Ancient Sichuan·Qin, Han and Three Kingdoms Period', 'Ancient Sichuan·Jin to Tang and Five Dynasties Period', as well as art history special exhibitions such as ethnic cultural relics, arts and crafts, Han Dynasty pottery and stone art, and there are 4 temporary exhibition halls. The museum has more than 350,000 collections, including more than 70,000 precious cultural relics.
What is puzzling is that the large museum does not have an 'Ancient Sichuan·Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties' exhibition hall, and it is unknown why.
On December 7, 2012, the Sichuan Museum was rated as a national first-class museum.
Ancient Sichuan - Qin, Han, and Three Kingdoms Period Exhibition
Sichuan Museum 'Ancient Sichuan - Qin, Han, and Three Kingdoms Period Exhibition'
In 316 BC, Qin conquered Bashu and ruled the region for 110 years. This gave Qin a vast and resource-rich base, laying a solid foundation for Emperor Qin Shi Huang to unify the six states. Qin's flexible policies and far-reaching influence in the Bashu region, as well as its significant achievements in water conservancy construction.
At the end of Qin, the righteous army rose. In the first year of the second emperor of Qin (209 BC), Liu Bang rose up in Pei and was named King of Han. The Bashu region made a significant contribution to the establishment and early stable development of the Han Dynasty. In the process of Emperor Wu of Han 'opening up the Southwest Yi', the Bashu region played an important role in stabilizing the southwest. The Eastern Han Dynasty saw great development, and the 'Country of Heaven's Blessing' centered on the Chengdu Plain was basically established, which was recognized by later generations. During this stage, the Bashu region led the country in various fields such as handicrafts represented by Shu brocade, well salt, lacquerware, as well as education and literature. The Shu Han regime of the Three Kingdoms period, with the Bashu region at its core, occupies an important position in our country's historical culture.
The Qin, Han, and Three Kingdoms period was a glorious era in our country's history, and the Bashu region was even more prosperous during this stage. The rich 'Country of Heaven's Blessing', the comfortable life, established the optimistic and positive attitude of the Bashu people during this stage, which continues to this day.
Great experience at Chengdu Tianfu International Airport 😍😍😍 #sichuanprovince #Chengdu #transit
Generally speaking, the provincial museums are all in the provincial capital city. Today, the Sichuan Museum is generally higher than the museum. The Sichuan Museum is the largest comprehensive museum in the southwest, but the venue is not as domineering as I expected. I always feel that the collections in the exhibition hall are a bit messy, and the tour has a bit of chaos. The Sichuan Museum is mainly a pavilion divided according to the theme.
Sichuan Museum is located in the Huaxi River Historical and Cultural Scenic Area, and the Du Fu Caotang is squatting. The scenery here is quite good. The huge triangle plum at the entrance of the museum is really impressive.
Dafengtang is the special exhibition hall of Mr. Zhang Daqian. The "Dafengtang" is taken from the name of the studio that Mr. Zhang Daqian once founded with his brother. The collections here are all the paintings of Mr. Zhang Daqian, the most important of which is Mr. Zhang Daqian. Although there are still many unfinished manuscripts in the works of Dunhuang murals in Linyi, it is also a rare work. It is basically a unique existence and is an invaluable painting. The
Bat Bronze Museum is also a bronze ware exhibited in accordance with the vintage. These collections are all from the surrounding areas of Chengdu, reflecting the differences in life culture between Cuba and other vassal states. I really like the patterns on these seals, all kinds of texts, totems, all represent a kind of spirit.
Sichuan Museum is located in the Huanhuaxi Historical and Cultural Scenic Area in Qingyang District, Chengdu. It is the largest comprehensive museum in Southwest China. The museum has no tickets, directly swipe the ID card, and you can go through the security check. The exhibition is divided into three floors. The first floor has the Sichuan Han Dynasty ceramic stone art exhibition, the second floor has the Bayu bronze exhibition hall, the ceramic boutique exhibition hall, the painting and calligraphy museum and the Zhang Daqian works exhibition. The third floor is the Tibetan Buddhist Cultural Relics Museum and the Wanfo Temple stone carving. Pavilion, Sichuan National Cultural Relics Exhibition, Arts and Crafts Museum, Centennial Sichuan Pavilion.
