#Yongkang Road Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Japanese food in Shanghai
Sheng Sushi is a small Japanese restaurant on Yongkang road in the heat of the former French concession.
The restaurant is quite small which adds to its charm with very interesting Japanese posters and artwork around the room. The food is very cheap and nice. The sushi dishes are very nice and the staff are also very nice too. The Asahi beer offers are very good value too #urbanexplorer #mytripvlog #foodie
Irish Pub in Shanghai
The Blarney Stone is a long-standing Irish pub in the former French concession of Shanghai!
The bar offers an array of different dishes that will remind you of Irish and English favourites including sausages and mash (that you can see in the picture). They have a great happy hour deal that is on offer each day. The charm and aesthetic of the pub gives off a traditional Irish pub theme too #shanghai #foodie #mytripvlog #urbanexplorer
Bagels bagels bagels
If you’re out and about in Shanghai and fancy a tasty treat, then head on over to Bagel & Coffee on YongKang road.
The cute cafe is situated at the end of the road and can get quite busy in the afternoons. The coconut latte that they do is very nice as are the bagels! The ambiance is very nice and it’s super impressive to see a restaurant offering condiments that you would not expect 🌶️ #china #shanghai #bagel #Food
Italian Bakery in the heart of Shanghai
#newyearadventure #tripblazers #foodie
There is nothing better to me than good bread and pastries, so when I heard about Nonna’s Bakery I HAD to go. A little walk away from the cafes on Yongkang road, the tiny store bakes their Italian style bread fresh every day and it is as authentic as it gets!
I recommend the almond croissant and the mushroom and cheese Focaccia.

1 day walking tour in Shanghai
I started my day at new coffeeshop NEWTOWN COOFFEE at 建国中路 ☕️☕️☕️. Love this street.
It’s very close to famous Yongkang Road with many Coffeeshops and restaurants, favorite spot for youngest Shanghainese.
It’s new year time and many shops prepared holiday souvenirs for customers and tourists.
Shanghai always surprises you with small architectural details and it’s architecture. And of course, Weather … u wear spring jacket during the day ☀️, and need winter jacket in the evening🥶….

56 Rue de Yongkang
#passionpassport
Tiny coffee shops are my go to, especially since moving to China. Yongkang road in Shanghai is a popular destination for cafes of food.
56 Rue is small and unique with a clothing selection at the back of the cafe. There’s a choice of around 7-10 drinks only but the cups used are rather dainty and cute.
Pricing is standard for coffee in China, 25-40rmb a cup.

Shanghai Exploration Store | The beauty of the "Rococo Wind" Palace Coffee House is actually hidden here!
Walking with friends through Yongkang Road, you will be attracted by this super gorgeous palace-style coffee shop at a glance~ It is a goddess worth!
The store is small, but the decoration is extremely delicate. Hand-painted pink wallpaper, green gold-plated wall, beautiful tables and chairs, high-end bar ~ This Rococo court style is really in every detail ~
The coffee and dessert here are also the boss's exquisite design Eight "national" desserts, each with its own style, are well worth a try!

Domoarigato Mr Robo…Sheng Sushi
Yongkang road
Once famous for its over flowing raging bars spilling onto the street, now home to small cafes, corner bars and, of course, Sheng Sushi.
I was worried that my favorite local value for money Japanese joint would be another victim in the long list of places lost to us due to the great shanghai lockdown (that never happened).
What they got?
Not gonna lie, it’s all your basic go to Japanese. Sushi rolls, sashimi, katsu curry, octopus ball etc. But, it’s is true value for money, reliable, comfortable, convenient and always has a cold beer ready to clench your thirst.
So if you want cheap, great and reliable Japanese then this is your place. I’ll see you there, I’m there at least once a week.#japanese #sushi #beer #yongkang #foodie
YongKang road
Right in the heart of the former French concession area in Shanghai is YongKang road.
The street has many small businesses on is it such as multiple coffee shops, restaurants of different styles, flower shops and an Irish pub. During the spring and summer months the road can be quite busy and has a lovely vibe to it! Lots of the coffee shops have outdoor seating areas and it’s very dog friendly! #foodie #mytripvlog #urbanexplorer #shanghai #tripblazers

The upcoming Christmas season in Shanghai has gradually risen to a warm afternoon. Together with the colorful decorations, this Christmas
, the cool beauty of the eustoma, the carnival bubble, the violet eucalyptus and the thorns, make up a whole box of colors
in the yard The flowers that are swaying in the flowers and the dogs are going back and forth. The Christmas of the Devils has a colorful color that I have added.
