Beautiful property, the lounge areas are tastefully done. Has dinner on the property, amazing food with great value for the set dinner.
The room is big and clean. Great water pressure. However there is no AC, not sure how it is during the summer. We arrived at a perfect weather, the room provides a little table fan for ventilation. Would definitely return again.
Hotels in Edinburgh were too expensive for Halloween, so I chose this one a bit further from the city center, but it was easily accessible by public transport. The front desk staff were very friendly, and the room felt warm and inviting. I mentioned the sheets were a little dirty, and the manager personally changed them for me, which I felt a little embarrassed about. The view from the window was of a peaceful Scottish autumn landscape. I initially thought traveling to and from the city would be time-consuming, but I unexpectedly saw Scottish pastures and sheep, as well as the World Heritage-listed Forforth Railway Bridge and Queensferry Bridge along the way – a truly delightful surprise! I had seen the railway bridges from the plane; they were magnificent. I never imagined we would actually pass by them – a wonderful unexpected bonus. It was a pleasant surprise, and I truly experienced the authentic Scottish countryside. I loved it; it was definitely worth the trip.
40 minutes by bus from princess street , amenities not that good , won’t even get a bottle of water , fire alarm went off at 5 am and woken everyone up and only got an apology
Overnight stay prior to a flight from Edinburgh. Had a meal in the restaurant which was lovely. Room was clean & warm. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choices. Not a fan of the eggs in the hot containers.
The thing I enjoyed most here is the buffet breakfast
There were enough to choose from and I enjoyed myself.
The hotel is affordable too
However, the location is not so great especially if you want where things are happening.
The basic things you need to buy are nearby because there were superstores opposite the hotel across the road. I enjoyed the ASDA and McDonald's there.
I recommend here if you want somewhere a bit quite and cool
Take five in Fife at the Premier Inn Hotel Glenrothes. Under an hour from both Edinburgh and Dundee, you'll be in a handy spot whether you're heading North or South, home or away. If you're on a leisure trip, head to the trackside at Knockhill or the fairway at one of the many major golf courses nearby. Then take time out in our tasty on-site Brewers Fayre restaurant with indoor play area, then enjoy our spacious rooms and extra-comfy beds.
We had a lovely and peaceful weekend at this hotel. One of the best places not far from busy Edinburgh to enjoy a day together with the family. The service is outstanding, and the staff is polite and helpful. We really enjoyed the SPA area with the warm swimming pool and sauna. We will definitely come back to get some relaxation in this place.

GGuest UserThe hotel was clean, but I booked a double bed room to share with my sister on trip.com and when I paid and got a confirmation that it’s a double room it was not refundable . When I contacted the hotel they said that because they did not have twin rooms available it reverted the booking to double in the system. I contacted trip.con to cancel the booking they said that it was non refundable booking, I explained that it was their system that made the error and not me, the agent said I will contact the hotel and check if they can accept a refund, she got back saying that they have refused and trip.com could not help. I was furious and I had to go and sleep on the sofa bed and this was uncomfortable also the heating was doing some tapping sound as I am light sleeper I could not sleep properly at all.

SShepShepThe trip was great, comfortable beds and a terrific shower. The breakfast was tasty and staff friendly. I’d really recommend the breakfast as it’s a buffet style for tea, coffees and pastries. I’d stay there again the next time I’m in town!
CCMarieP86A lovely building and entrance, including a lovely garden and fountain. Very clean and classy, reception staff friendly and helpful. Room was fantastic, so modern and clean with plenty of floor space and storage. Big smart tv, hair dryer, iron and board, free mini toiletries, tea/coffee, full length mirror…couldn’t have asked for more at such a reasonable price for the room! Only thing was the room felt extremely hot when I first checked in (even though radiator was not on). I asked at reception if I could have a fan as windows barely open and a few minutes later it was brought to my room! Restaurant and bar great, breakfast lovely…highly recommend this hotel
GGuest UserThe most surprising hotel during the trip to Scotland. On the first day, a white guy at the front desk was very enthusiastic and patient. On the second day, I met a black girl who could speak simple Chinese and was very enthusiastic to help us communicate and book the golf course. The waiter in the Italian restaurant was also very good and very enthusiastic. I originally only stayed in the hotel for one night, but decided to book another night on the second day. The overall experience was great. Thank you
GGuest UserWe were golfing in St Andrews area and looking for a 1 night stay and we booked premier Inn, hey it was a boys golf trip !
On checking in the receptionost wasnt quite bubbling with enthusasim, pleasant enough.
Our Twin Room had a large double bed and a smaller than usual single bed, I got tyhe single bed. The room was clean and adequate, the shower ran tepid to hot.
Breakfast was superb, fruit, cereal, yoghurt, bakery selection and the cooked buffet was excellent. Unlimited tea and coffee.
Al in all, the hotel was very good for a short stay.
GGuest UserSpacious and modern rooms, comfortable beds. Regular cleaning, savory breakfast to order in the restaurant, very reasonable prices for catering, friendly staff. No hair dryer and bring a shower cap because the shower head is high and fixed. Very quiet and well-insulated hotel. Excellent value for money
