Hotel extremamente bem localizado. Estrutura excelente, limpo, novo.
E durante minha estadia me aconselhando onde almoçar ou jantar. Recomendo muito este hotel.

Matera is an amazing place to visit and staying at the Monaco Bianco made it even more special! Alessandro was incredibly helpful and welcoming - the perfect manager for this property. I shall happily recommend this to anyone else I know travelling to Matera.
Worst experience in staying in independent accommodation. Left in the rain for 1 hour. Tried 18 calls not answered A very unpleasant man turned up and yelled at us in Italian. We felt very intimidated. When we went out we believe someone entered the room and turned off all lights and heating.
Nice room but it’s in an apartment not a hotel like pictures make you believe. Next morning 1/2 hour before check out we returned back and the angry man was waiting for us. Yelling about lights left on. This was a small bathroom light we’d missed when we went for a walk. He virtually threw us out of the hotel. Standing in front of the bedroom window making us very uncomfortable. Very very unpleasant stay.
Very comfortable stay in Matera - 10min walking till historical center, easy communication through WhatsApp, Nicolas is very kind and friendly host. Room is worm and clean, breakfast with coffee, crisps, jams, croissants, yogurts. Reasonable price. I definitely recommend.

Everything is good about this hotel. Breakfast is the best in my two weeks Italy trip. Just one suggestion: please ask for a shuttle at the parking if you drive to Matera. Otherwise it is hard to walk there with luggage and you will easily lost in similar small roads.

GGuest UserReally great one night stay. The hotel is very conveniently located for the autostrada. It was easy to check in and the reception staff were pleasant. We were advised parking was at the rear of the hotel where there was plenty of space. Our room was clean and modern, with a lovely comfortable bed.
We had dinner in the restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by the choice available, as we don't eat meat, there were vegetarian options and of course fish, and the quality was excellent. It was also reasonable in cost.
We had breakfast the next day where there was ample choice of scrambled egg (and bacon), cheeses, bread and pastries, cakes etc. Would thoroughly recommend.
RRowena Yin TingA nice boutique hotel with friendly staff at a good location with restaurants nearby. We booked two rooms - the room on 2nd floor is good but the one on ground floor smells a bit of mould. Perhaps because it’s inside a cave. Breakfast choice is limited with fruits, toast with tomatoes, and cakes. You can order boiled or scrambled eggs as this is the only hot food they serve. We are fine with that but more as fyi.
11522190****Honestly, I wouldn't highly recommend it, especially for those with large luggage. Taxis can't drive to the hotel entrance; you have to walk at least five or six minutes along a winding, gravel path. Even inside the hotel, almost every room requires climbing up and down steep, inconvenient steps. The so-called separate building is on the other side of the hotel (it seems like the original hotel area was fully developed, and they added it on top of surrounding residential buildings). It's not particularly safe, especially at night when you're practically helpless. The hotel has a shuttle bus from the lobby (main area) to the separate building, but you still have to climb about twenty gravel steps and carry your luggage yourself. The hotel claims the separate building is about a four-minute walk from the main building (there's a small path), but going down from the top requires climbing 100 steps, and going back is the same. The steps are narrow and steep. The stone buildings are quite dark, so we had to leave the doors open, and the blankets were a little damp, probably due to the high humidity (they had a dehumidifier on). Everything else was average. The hotel service was helpful but far from enthusiastic. The sauna was similar to a large public bathhouse in China; you need to bring your swimsuit. It was alright. I don't usually review hotels, but this time I'm saying I ”would not recommend it.”
MmlenitskayaThis is probably the best hotel in Matera based on what we read before traveling. The service is exceptional , very helpful and friendly staff. The room is spacious, very clean and cozy. We had a small balcony with a very nice room. The restaurant that was recommended to us was also amazing. Highly recommend!
SshtmpearlGood service for picking up guests from car park.
Breakfast was included, pretty ok selection.
Room is large but toliet wall was very bad maintain and dirty. Selfs and table.has ants. The overall was fine but need some improvement on the bathroom wall. Same cost of bookings, some rooms are big, some are small.
EEduardo J. RamosExcellent hotel but way out of town in a lonely industrial area, perfect for those with a car.
Wifi in some rooms is quite disappointing too.
other than that, modern facilities including swimming pool (closed in December obviously), ample car park, large bedrooms, and superb breakfast.
GGuest UserLocated in the heart of Matera, which means you can’t get there by car, but the views and the room made up for the challenge of getting to it. Everyone was very professional. The room was large, clean and suited our needs. It felt like we were staying in someone’s mansion.
