Although situated within Hongcun, it offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle; at night, the only sounds are the chirping of frogs and insects. The rooms are spacious, bright, spotless, and equipped with modern amenities for comfort and convenience. The housekeepers are also incredibly attentive and helpful, assisting with luggage at the entrance, taking photos, and readily fulfilling any requests. This guesthouse truly represents a perfect blend of historical culture and modern comfort, exceeding expectations. Highly recommended! By the way, their osmanthus black tea is also delicious! 👍

The room was clean, with views of the sunrise on one side and the sunset on the other. You could also enjoy the evening glow and stargazing at night. Rice paddies were just a short walk away. The only thing that needs adjustment is the breakfast; it's basically the same every day, so you need to put in a little more effort. The complimentary Shouzhuo Garden is definitely worth a visit; it's not crowded, and several spots offer great photo opportunities.

As for the facilities, I understand it's a youth hostel in an old house, so some minor inconveniences are to be expected. However, the overall decor and atmosphere were great. The mattress and pillow were super soft and comfy, so I slept soundly. The volunteers were also very nice. It rained for a whole day during my two-day stay. I slept soundly with the white noise of the rain, and woke up to the sound of roosters crowing – what a unique experience! I really loved it here and even told my friends how great it was. There were also some B&Bs around, but when I passed by, I felt that the yard of this one was the most beautiful.
