GGuest UserThe purpose of my visit was to experience Petra. Overall the hotel was great. The staff were friendly and competent. The rooms were a little dated ( my window was making so much noise during a windy night) compared to other modern hotels like the W but having said this they were perfectly functioning and large. The food was good but not blowing my mind ( perhaps the menu can be updated as well). The location was very convenient to get to and from Petra with a free shuttle provided multiple times through the day. Considering the purpose of my trip, this was a great value for the price, location and helpful staff.

I recently stayed at Hotel Petra Gate and had an overall wonderful experience. This hotel is an excellent choice for travelers looking for exceptional value and genuine, personal service.
The most outstanding feature of this hotel is without a doubt the owner. He is incredibly polite, soft-spoken, and went far out of his way to ensure my stay was comfortable. He expertly arranged very affordable cab services for all my travel needs and was invaluable in guiding my sightseeing, offering helpful tips and advice that greatly enhanced my trip.
The hotel itself offers great value for money. A lovely perk is the self-serve coffee and tea service available in the kitchen at any time—a perfect way to start the morning or unwind in the evening.
Petra - Wonder of the World is just 1.5km away from this hotel.

GGuest UserWe arrived in Petra with suitcases via the JETT bus, so minimizing the distance we had to walk with luggage was a key consideration — and this hotel was a great fit.
Pros:
• Excellent location — about a 2-minute walk from the JETT bus drop-off point and the Petra Visitor Center; nearby there are restaurants, souvenir shops, and small grocery stores.
• Communicating with staff in English was fine, and they were friendly.
• Good variety in the breakfast buffet.
• The room included a sofa, which was a nice touch.
• The room was quiet.
• Heating/air-conditioning worked well.
• A large bottle of water was provided in the room.
Cons:
• The door stopper on the floor was placed in the narrow walkway next to the sofa — I accidentally kicked it a few times, which was painful. Not the best design choice.

GGuest UserJust a few minutes' walk from Petra. The location is absolutely amazing! You can split your visit to Petra into two parts, for example, early morning and late afternoon, and return to the hotel for a break in between. The JETT bus station for Amman is also nearby, so you can relax at the hotel right up until your departure. The room was spacious and clean, with plenty of amenities, even bathrobes! The breakfast offered a wide variety and was delicious. What truly stood out was the staff's hospitality. When I was struggling to book my JETT bus ticket, they called the bus company and made the reservation for me, even arranging online payment via WhatsApp. I had such a comfortable stay that I would definitely want to stay here again if I ever visit Petra.

The Visitor Center (the entrance to Petra) is a 10-minute walk away. The only problem is that the hotel is located on a hill, so while the descent isn't difficult, the climb up is quite challenging. Taxi drivers charge exorbitant prices for a ride, even though it's literally a two-minute ride.
The hotel itself is beyond reproach. The room is spacious, with hot water and clean linens.
The room also has a kettle, coffee, tea, and water.
While I was walking around Petra, they made my bed and refilled the instant coffee bags.
The staff is very polite and pleasant.
Breakfast is varied, everything is fresh and delicious, and it's a buffet. No one pressures you, so you can eat as much as you want.
I highly recommend this hotel!

AAnonymous UserThe front desk staff Jawad is very helpful and give good guidance on how to walk around Petra . He is very friendly and caring too! He help me to call the bus to go to wadi rum in early morning and wake up early to make sure the bus do come and pick me up.
The hotel room is nice, I don’t have any comment on that, but just one thing. During my visit it was Muslim holiday and all night and early morning also have loud prayer sound from the nearby mosques….. can’t really sleep for the whole night …. Yet this is not the hotel problem .
The breakfast is wonderful. Have lot of option and delicious too !
In all, I am happy for my stay . Thank you

SSiokyThe hotel is only 3 months old, very new and well maintained . Room is large, bright and airy with a nice view on Petra. The staff is very polite and professional . Ample of parking and right down there is the petrol station .
4th floor has swimming pool and view on Petra too.
Breakfast offers sufficient choice despite not many variety but good enough .
Nothing I can pick and this hotel is definitely worth the money and highly recommended . Small suggestion : motion sensor should have more not just be installed at the lift lobby.

GGuest UserIt's true that you have to go up to the 4th floor by the iron stairs.
Am I right on these stairs?? Do you really have to go up on this?? If you feel it, the stairs are right.
The staff are really friendly. I want to go again because of this. They lent me a towel as well, and I was really impressed.
If you have dinner, I recommend paying for it here. It's the most honest here.
Don't go out and buy it at the supermarket.
We sell everything at the accommodation, so I recommend buying water or something like that at the accommodation.

ДДмитрий_Л.Located directly across the street from the entrance to ancient Petra, this hotel is stunningly beautiful. The interior feels like an Arabian Nights dream. The staff are excellent, providing an exceptionally high level of service to every guest. Breakfast and dinner were superb. Upon check-in, we received a complimentary room upgrade due to low occupancy. We were genuinely sad to leave this hotel.

On the ground floor, there's a garden and a cafe where you can order lunch or tea. The staff are friendly and ready to help with anything. I highly recommend this hotel.
