Perhaps because there weren't many guests, there was noticeable dust on the bedside phone and sofa. The amenities around the hotel were pretty basic, with not much to do or see. Essentially, we just used it as a place to sleep after spending our days out exploring with a chartered car. Check-out was strictly at 11 AM, with absolutely no flexibility for a late check-out.

The room was very spacious, offering a fantastic ocean view. The bathroom featured a practical wet/dry separation and a bathtub, contributing to the overall generous feel of the space. We stayed on the 10th floor, but higher floors are available for an additional fee. The hotel boasts several restaurants, various brand shops, a 7-Eleven, and even a sauna. You don't even need to leave the premises for a comfortable and convenient stay. Getting around from the hotel is also very convenient. While the price was a bit on the higher side, everything else was impeccable.

Love this place! This is my second time here. It's very clean and newly renovated. I'd recommend getting breakfast here, as there aren't many other food options nearby in the morning. It offers excellent value for money, and the nearby waterfall is just a short walk away.

## Pros:
The location is superb, directly across from the beach and a bustling fish market. The ocean view rooms offer unparalleled views. Public transportation is also very convenient, with bus routes 101 and 201 making it easy to reach any destination. While there are many dining options nearby, not many are particularly good. However, Haenyeo Bibimbap was the standout among the popular (or 'internet-famous') eateries.
## Cons:
The room size and facilities are average and feel a bit dated. For a hotel claiming four stars, it's nowhere near the standard of a domestic 'Quanji' (All Seasons) hotel. They are very strict about the number of guests allowed. We booked an ocean view room with a double and single bed for two adults and one child. Since this exceeded their two-person occupancy limit, we had to pay an extra 10,000 (presumably KRW) per night for the child. Other policies are quite standard for hotels overseas: check-in is strictly at 3 PM and check-out at 11 AM. Late check-out incurs hourly charges, and staying past 2 PM will result in being charged for an entire additional night. Furthermore, they don't provide any disposable amenities, such as slippers, toothbrushes, toothpaste, or body lotion. And no umbrellas are available for guests to borrow.
Our second stay and I would love to return again
It's basically a honeymoon / baby hotel. Many young couples and families with children under 10. Very calm and peaceful.
Clean, nice, heated pool.
Breakfast could be better, we opted out, but it's still convenient.
The sauna is absolutely wonderful, I really healed my body and soul there.
As for the room type, the last year we stayed in a standard view room. You have to know that there is NO view. It was a ground floor room with all the consequences. We didn't use the balcony at all. This year we chose garden view but got upgraded to a poolside view.
The poolside view honestly made the stay. Choose poolside or at least garden view if you can. Try to stay away from standard view.
There's also this hill suite building, we'll probably try and book a room there next year but we couldn't quite figure out how to use the spa. It wasn't clear if the building has its own spa or some overpass or underpass, or you'd have to walk across the road to the main building.
The beach is 5 minutes away by car and around 30 on foot. There's surfing lessons and surf rentals there, you can rent a chair, an umbrella, a sunbed and a tube.
Also, if you're thinking Lotte because of the closeness to the beach, note that the pedestrian walk to the beach is awful from there. It's 5-10 minutes of stairs.

The location is convenient, and the room was clean and tidy, directly facing the sea. It features both a shower and a bathtub, but be cautious as the tub can be a bit slippery.
The staff's foreign language proficiency seemed generally poor. We even encountered front desk personnel who struggled with both English and Chinese. As a result, we couldn't confirm our breakfast reservation for the following day, and the child policy regarding charges was not clearly communicated. When we went to breakfast, the hostess at the restaurant entrance and the front desk manager were quite rude. Communication was still a struggle, and they simply stated that our booking wasn't registered, repeatedly emphasizing the price. This level of service was utterly unprofessional.
However, other service staff we encountered were polite and helpful, which made our interactions pleasant.

The sea-view room offered an incredible view. There's a trendy restaurant right downstairs, and numerous other eateries nearby, making dining extremely convenient. The public beach and Oliver Young are also within easy walking distance. The photo, taken from the room's balcony in the morning, is simply beautiful. My only minor quibble is that the room tends to be a bit humid, but this is understandable for a sea-view room.
I recently had a wonderfully relaxing stay at Lotte Hotel, and I can't recommend it enough! The highlight of our visit was definitely the heated pool and jacuzzi, which provided the perfect oasis for unwinding. Enjoying live music in the evening while relaxing in the warm pool and jacuzzi was an unforgettable experience.
The hotel’s location is another major plus. It's conveniently situated next to two charming shopping and restaurant areas. We loved having options like Starbucks and Olive Young just a short walk away. For food, we indulged in the famous local pork BBQ at a nearby restaurant, which was a real treat. Additionally, there are two convenient stores within a 5-10 minute walking distance, making it easy to grab essentials.
Overall, Lotte Hotel offered a perfect blend of relaxation and convenience

The room was very clean and in a good location. I didn't stay in a room with an ocean view this time, but the room opposite should be facing the ocean. The hotel is right on the beach and there is a good cafe next to it for breakfast. Many people are running in the morning. It only takes ten minutes to walk to Dongmen Market. It is also very close to Pork Street. There is a parking lot in the basement and a gym on the first floor. The swimming pool is not suitable for use until 3 pm.

The best part of this hotel is the amazing beach view — you can see the ocean right from the room, and it's beautiful any time of day. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy the scenery.
The staff were very nice and helpful, always ready to assist with anything we needed, which made the stay more pleasant.
The hotel itself is a bit old and could use some updates, but it was still comfortable overall. If you're mainly looking for a great view and friendly service, this place is a good choice.

GGuest UserOverall, it was a good stay. The hotel is very close to the airport; our group shared a larger taxi which cost 20,000 KRW to get us there. Hailing a taxi at the airport is very convenient – you just cross a small road outside, and you can quickly find one.
The hotel is located in the city center, making it incredibly convenient for dining, drinking, and shopping. Downstairs, you'll find various restaurants, convenience stores, and pharmacies. Baojian Road Pedestrian Street is just a ten-minute walk away. The hotel is situated directly above Lotte Duty Free, with the lobby on the 6th floor, accessible by elevator.
Breakfast is an optional extra, and you can purchase it day by day. We tried it for one day but then decided it wasn't great value for money, so we opted not to continue. A convenience store downstairs provided perfectly adequate breakfast options instead.
The hotel also has an outdoor pool, which is quite shallow and costs extra (12,000 KRW per person, same price for adults and children). The kids really enjoyed playing in it. The room wasn't huge, but the space was well-utilized, and it came with all the expected amenities, including a bathtub. When it was time to leave, the staff on the ground floor helped us call a taxi, and we reached the airport quickly.
Overall, our stay was very pleasant.

GGuest UserMy elderly mum and me had a wonderful stay at Maison Glad, the hotel is a big property, there are two wings whereby my aunt and cousin stayed at another wing. We got a corner room and it was very spacious with two double beds. The toilet was equipped with standing shower and bath tub. It was a relief for us as we preferred standing shower as our legs were not that good to climb into the bath tub. The hotel breakfast is international style and there are different fruit drinks to choose. The hotel lobby has a cafe selling bakery and coffee, we spent our leisure there in afternoon too. Hotel staff are all very friendly and polite. The hotel location is very convenient diagonally across Shila duty free shop and many restaurants.

Great
GGuest UserI booked a standard single room. It felt like the room was a little small, but it was spacious enough to stay for one person. There was everything you needed. I went to Jeju just for a walk, ‘Olle Tracking’. The reason I chose this hotel is because this place was within walking distance of Olle 1, 2, and 3 courses. The other thing is that they had very different kinds of stores, so you didn’t need to go outside for food. This time I finished only the 2nd course, but the wind and bad weather made it hard for me to finish. But even though it was hard for me, I was happy with it. Next time I’m trying to decide to finish 1 and 3 courses, I wish it was good weather at that time.

Great
AAnonymous UserThe hotel has a modern, trendy aesthetic, making it very photogenic. Our ocean-facing room was a bit small and dated; there wasn't enough space to fully open two suitcases simultaneously. The hotel pool is free before 11 AM; after that, reservations are required, with two time slots available. It's best to avoid weekends as it gets very crowded with local visitors. The front desk offers Chinese-speaking staff. Room service is managed via a self-service QR code system, which is quite convenient and hands-off. There's a convenience store to the left of the hotel, convenient for picking up breakfast. Jungmun Beach is within walking distance, though its sand quality isn't as fine as Woljeongri's, and there are hardly any shells. Both the Teddy Bear Museum and BHC Fried Chicken are conveniently within walking distance from the hotel. Directions to the pool are a bit unclear. For nearly 2500, the value for money feels a bit low. The ”most beautiful Starbucks” (Starbucks The Wave) is also nearby.
MM220276****The room was clean, and housekeeping service was provided during my two-day stay. The only minor issue was the lack of a universal power adapter. The front desk staff could speak simple Chinese. Check-in is only possible after 3 PM, and early check-in is charged at 10,000 KRW per hour. I stayed two nights at Gloucester and one night at Lotte. Overall, this hotel offers better value for money than Lotte Hotel, and its location is also superior, with convenient dining and transportation options nearby.

GGuest UserSufficient parking at the basement. Room is very spacious. Downside is that toilet has no bidet, and the shower stall is not well sealed so the toilet floor gets quite wet and slippery after showers. Kettle not provided in the room but you can request for one from the front desk if needed. Else, convenience store at the lobby closes at 11.30pm. They also provide a list of recommended restaurants nearby. Kbbq opposite the hotel was nice too.
AAnonymous UserThe room was absolutely beautiful, especially the stunning view from the window – it looked exactly like the pictures and was incredibly photogenic! It was such a treat to grab some drinks from the convenience store next door and then sit by the window, enjoying snacks, drinks, and the beautiful scenery. The room came with a fridge and a microwave, which was super handy for reheating food. The shower in the bathroom was excellent, with strong and consistent water pressure. The amenities provided were also top-notch. The owners were incredibly warm and hospitable; they even helped us with our luggage. Plus, they spoke some Chinese and very fluent English, which was a huge help! They also have a dedicated Chinese food delivery mini-program and can assist you with ordering takeout, which was incredibly convenient. I would absolutely recommend this place to friends! A truly wonderful experience!

GGuest UserA few things to update from the most recent review: the 7-11 next door is gone/being renovated; you cannot cook inside of your room even though it has a burner, etc. and not all rooms have a washing machine (photos a bit misleading). However, there is a laundry machine available for use, you just need your own detergent.
Very friendly and helpful staff. The cook-your-own breakfast was a great deal for us as a family. The roof top is amazing, 360 views of the sea and mountains, truly stunning.
GGuest UserI am writing to express my deep disappointment and dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your hotel, Seoubong Beach Hotel from Sept 23-26. While I had initially looked forward to a pleasant experience, I regret to inform you that the behavior and attitude of some of your staff members were awful.
During check in the behaviour of your staff Kelly Oh to be discourteous and unprofessional. She was very rude. We booked and paid the room for 3 adults she asked us extra charge and could not explain for what we need to pay extra 30000 Won. She was very rude and almost kicked us out. I believe it is essential to bring these incidents to your attention so that you can take the necessary steps to rectify them.
On Sept 24, during breakfast at your hotel's restaurant, I had a regrettable encounter with a member of your waitstaff. She rudely with a loud voice said to go out from the restaurant without waiting for our finishing the breakfast at 10:05 am. I have never seen in any hotel this kind of unprofessional attitude from staff members.
I kindly request that you investigate these incidents and take appropriate action to address the behavior of the staff involved. Additionally, I hope that you will consider implementing further training and measures to ensure that such instances do not recur in the future.
I value the importance of constructive feedback and hope that my concerns are taken seriously. I look forward to hearing from you regarding the actions taken to rectify these issues. If my concerns are not adequately addressed, I may have no choice but to share my negative experience through online reviews and social media platforms, which I would prefer to avoid.
I trust that you will handle this matter promptly and professionally. Thank you for your attention to my concerns.
MMr-ZhuZhuboyThe hotel's central location was extremely convenient. The room size was decent. On a rather amusing note, I accidentally left the souvenirs I'd purchased at the hotel after I had already departed. Thankfully, after I called, they located them, and I was able to arrange a courier pickup. Just a heads-up: if you need to mail anything, remember to pack it securely yourself, as shipping services typically won't do it for you! Lol.
