The Grand Hotel Taipei is truly exceptional. My stay there was a journey into history and culture, something I've wanted to experience for a long time. The moment I stepped into the lobby, I was struck by its magnificent grandeur, a testament to traditional Chinese palace architecture. It offers a unique historical depth that you won't find anywhere else in Taipei. The room itself was clean, tidy, and well-equipped. The staff were all very polite and professional, providing excellent service. The hotel also boasts a variety of distinctive cuisines, offering different flavors to try. The secret tunnel tour was a particular highlight; hotel guests can experience it at a discounted rate, which is fantastic. It was a rare historical exploration and I highly recommend staying here.

This hotel is located in Kenting's Little Bay, just across the road from Little Bay Beach, and the bus stop is also very close by. The hotel's breakfast spread is fantastic, and the seafood buffet for dinner offers great value for money. The best part is that the restaurant has a window overlooking the ocean (Picture 1), adding a wonderful ambiance to dinner. The hotel's garden is a lovely spot to relax (Picture 2). The swimming pool in the garden was under maintenance, so to compensate guests, the hotel organized some fun activities, like a night crab-hunting trip on the beach. We scared all the crabs away, and only a bunch of hermit crabs (Picture 3) stayed to play with us! ☺️

The location is fantastic. You come down the elevator, turn left, and you're right at Wanhua Train Station. The entrance directly opposite FamilyMart leads straight to the MRT station. At first, I thought the MRT station wasn't close, but it's actually incredibly near! Great value for money! I was assigned a room on the 18th floor, so the high floor offered a good view. Also, the pool staff were very friendly! There's even a small table next to the lobby entrance specifically for food deliveries, which is super convenient for ordering takeout. I'm quite puzzled why there isn't a 'Do Not Disturb' sign guests can hang on the door to let staff know not to clean the room. And about the swimming pool – wearing a swim cap is required, which is reasonable! But one evening, a group of middle/high school boys came to swim. A few who were fully equipped went in first, then they started egging on their friends who didn't bring swim trunks. They argued that the rule only mentioned swim caps, not swim trunks! After much discussion, they actually concluded that only a swim cap was needed, not swim trunks, so several of them just jumped in wearing their underwear! (And they didn't even shower!) It was disgusting! I quickly pulled my child out of the pool and went back to the room. Their underwear was dark-colored, so I guess the staff couldn't tell. Furthermore, the bathtub is very small. The bathroom had a noticeable odor.

Located near Banqiao with metro, train and bus station about 10 minutes walk away. Easy access to and fro airport and going south to Taichung and Miaoli for our side trips. Mega city, Global Mall near by and 诚品 just 1 street away. Nice swimming pool. Room is clean, spacious and bed is comfortable. Friendly and courteous housekeeping staff. Conceirge lady in attendance was very helpful in helping us locate a shop which we lost touch for quite some time. Also assist in getting careful and friendly driver to bring us to YangMingShan for a half day tour!

Located in an alley right in front of the Cosmed store on Kenting Street, it's quite good. It's right next to a parking lot, which is convenient if you're driving. The room was clean and well-equipped, not feeling cramped at all. We arrived after 7 PM, and an elderly gentleman handled our check-in and explained everything. Thumbs up! There's also a water dispenser in the hallway.

Loved the spa here, so clean and nice. Not too overcrowded either so you could really relax. Nothing to complain about with the room, the bathroom was nice and bedding was good. Maybe the walls are a bit thin so you can sort of hear the neighbours talking

Overall, it was a pleasant stay. The hotel is conveniently located, just an 8-minute walk from the train station. The room was nice, with a large and comfortable bed, and very little noise, which made for a good night's sleep. I appreciated the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom. My only minor complaint is that the bathroom trash can was a bit too small, but otherwise, everything was great.

My first impression was that it was ”old school”, with a traditional sense of luxury that comes from an overwhelming Lobby & Reception, large comfortable Elevator lobbies etc. I also appreciate the great service from the staff who brought us extra coffee creamer, to housekeeping who straightened up my mess. Concierge was very attentive, she checked our taxi after we've alighted, to ensure that nothing was left behind. Its this attention to detail that I find rare these days, and therefore its left a deep impression on me. If I were to point out any shortcoming, it would be that the lighting design of the hotel needs a refresh. Some newer lights, aroma/scented corridors, and background music would help. (oops.. occupational hazard...).

The concierge was particularly helpful in providing recommendations for local attractions and arranging transportation. **Convenient Amenities** The hotel offers a range of convenient amenities that enhance the overall guest experience. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, allowing me to stay connected during my stay. The availability of an airport shuttle service made my arrival and departure hassle-free. Additionally, the hotel provides luggage storage and currency exchange services, which were incredibly convenient. **Cleanliness and Comfort** The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Sun Palm B&B. Have written this review in English, but we communicated with them in Chinese. We stayed at this B&B during the tourism off-peak season (March). Service - Amazing. They were very responsive on Line, and quick to reply. They were also helpful with our requests/questions (e.g. fetching service to and fro airport, car rental service, traffic road conditions in Penghu) and were polite. They also gave some advice on what can or cannot be done (e.g. we wanted to cycle around Penghu, but they advised us saying Penghu was too big to travel on a bicycle). The driver was always punctual when picking us up, and when sending us to the airport. In fact, he was already there, with the car ready, minutes before we were supposed to leave for the airport - we didn't even need to remind them. The lady boss was very friendly - when we first arrived, she asked if we were new to Penghu (it was our first time), and she introduced where to explore in Penghu, and what to eat. She also told us that if we wanted to do water activities, we can approach them, and they can make a check with the centres to see if they are open since it was off-peak season for tourist activities. We also had some extra request regarding the check out timing, and she helped us with it too. Before we arrived, they also tested the car we wanted to rent, and upon finding out that it wasn't working as well, they provided us with another car instead - this is certainly good service. They also cleaned up the room upon request, and re-stocked the fridge with drinks. Food - The breakfast was amazing and fresh (see photos). On the first day we had bread + doughstick + egg with spring onion all in one package. It was delicious. On the second day, we had vermicelli and seafood (e.g. squid, prawns). The seafood was really fresh, and the broth was simple and tasty. Each dish was accompanied by fresh fruits / pastry + drink, which was refreshing. Room - We got the Starry Honeymoon Room. It was very spacious, the room was clean, the amenities were in good condition, and the overall design was aesthetically pleasing. The heart pillow on the bed was a cute addition, and the round bed was big enough for 2 of us. Above the bed there was a window covered with a retractable screen - you can actually look into the sky while lying on the bed, really interesting.  Location - While this B&B is further away from the main city, we didn't feel that affected as they provided airport transfer services. Also, we felt that it being away from the hustle and bustle from the city was actually advantageous, as the B&B's location had a more relaxed, quiet, holiday vibes, which was what we were looking for.  There is a 7-11 around 10 minutes from the B&B, so if you need food etc in the middle of the night, you can get it from there. We rented a car, so travelling to other areas wasn't much of an issue. Overall, I will recommend this B&B to anyone looking to tour Penghu! Am glad to have chosen this B&B for our first ever trip to Penghu :)

Hotel is quite nice, staff was very friendly and room as clean and equipped nicely. Breakfast was expansive with a good selection for everyone. The location is within walking distance to many things. We took a nice walk to the science park area and visited one of the local temples. There is also a nice speakeasy bar within 10 min walk (kind of hidden past the starbucks up the hill). I would definitely recommend this hotel to business visitors or tourists as well.

Hotel Review: Jiaoxi Wellsprings Hotel (Family Stay) Our family recently stayed at Jiaoxi Wellsprings Hotel, and it was a wonderful experience for both adults and kids. The combination of modern comfort, private hot springs, and a great location made it an excellent choice for a relaxing getaway. Location & Convenience The hotel is centrally located in Jiaoxi, just a short walk from Jiaoxi Train Station and close to local restaurants, night markets, and family-friendly attractions. The convenience of having everything within reach made our trip much easier, especially with kids in tow. Family-Friendly Rooms & Amenities We booked a family room, which was spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The highlight for us was the private in-room hot spring tub, which allowed us to enjoy the hot springs as a family in a comfortable and private setting. The kids absolutely loved it! The beds were comfortable, and the room had all the necessary amenities, including slippers and yukatas, making our stay even more enjoyable. Hot Spring Facilities Apart from the in-room hot spring, the hotel’s rooftop open-air hot spring was a fantastic experience. The view of the surrounding mountains was breathtaking, and the warm mineral water was incredibly soothing after a day of exploring. It’s a must-visit, especially in the evening. Service & Hospitality The hotel staff were friendly, welcoming, and very accommodating to families. They provided excellent service, from check-in to check-out, and were always happy to offer recommendations for nearby attractions and food options. Breakfast & Dining The breakfast buffet had a good mix of Taiwanese and Western options, catering to both adults and kids. While the selection was decent, we would have liked to see a bit more variety for children. That said, everything was fresh and well-prepared. Overall Experience Jiaoxi Wellsprings Hotel is a great choice for families looking to experience Jiaoxi’s hot springs in a comfortable and convenient setting. The private hot spring tubs, spacious rooms, and friendly service made our stay very enjoyable. We would definitely return for another family getaway! Rating: 4.5/5 Highly recommended for families traveling to Jiaoxi!

It was such a relaxing and enjoyable experience! This hotel really checked all the boxes for a comfortable and family-friendly getaway. The highlight for us was the tatami-style bed in the room. It’s low to the ground, which made it absolutely perfect for our toddler and 1-year-old. We didn’t have to worry about them rolling off the bed, and it even doubled as a safe, spacious play area during the day. The kids loved crawling and jumping around, and we parents could relax knowing they were safe. The private hot spring in our room was the best part of the stay. After a long day of traveling and exploring, being able to soak in the hot spring was exactly what we needed. It was clean, spacious, and perfect for unwinding while the kids napped or played. Orient Luxury Hotel in Jiaoxi is a fantastic choice for families, especially those with young kids. The tatami-style beds, private hot spring, and thoughtful service made our stay both relaxing and enjoyable. If you’re looking for a comfortable, family-friendly hotel in Yilan, this is definitely a great option. We left feeling refreshed and can’t wait to come back for another visit! The grandparents especially loved it—it was so convenient for them to enjoy the hot spring without having to leave the room. It really helped us recharge for the next day! The breakfast buffet was great! There was a good mix of Western and local Taiwanese dishes, and everything was fresh and delicious. The kids enjoyed the pancakes and fruit, while the grandparents appreciated the traditional congee and hot tea.

During my recent stay at the Sheraton Grand Taipei Hotel in an executive suite, I experienced unparalleled luxury and comfort that transformed my visit into an enchanting retreat. From the moment I arrived, the warm and welcoming staff set the tone for an exceptional experience. The executive suite was spacious and elegantly appointed, boasting stunning views of the bustling city skyline. The modern decor combined with thoughtful amenities made the space feel like a home away from home. Comfortable furnishings, including a plush king-sized bed, provided a perfect place to unwind after a busy day of exploring Taipei. One of the highlights of the suite was the access to the Executive Lounge. The atmosphere was both sophisticated and relaxed, offering complimentary breakfast and evening cocktails with a selection of delicious hors d'oeuvres. It was a lovely way to mingle with fellow guests while enjoying breathtaking sunset views! The attentive lounge staff went above and beyond, ensuring that every detail was taken care of. In addition to the suite’s luxurious accommodations and the Executive Lounge, the hotel’s facilities were top-notch. I enjoyed a refreshing dip in the pool and a revitalizing workout at the fitness center. The variety of dining options available on-site, including an exquisite Chinese restaurant, allowed me to indulge in both local flavors and international cuisine. The Sheraton Grand Taipei Hotel is perfectly located, making it easy to explore the vibrant city. Whether you’re in town for business or leisure, this hotel offers a unique blend of comfort, elegance, and exceptional service.
