Subject: Feedback on Staff Training and Late Check-out Protocol
We are frequent Savoy guests. Our check-in was excellent (paid early check-in at 7:00 AM, room upgrade, and confirmed late check-out until 3:00 PM by Vanie).
However, on the day of departure, we were repeatedly called at 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM by a different front desk officer, who disputed the confirmed 3:00 PM check-out time. This staff member demonstrated a severe lack of coordination, empathy, and professionalism, attempting to bargain and failing to honor a promise made by a colleague due to a system oversight.
Recommendation: Staff require urgent refresher training on communication, coordination, and emotional intelligence.
Minor Feedback: The lobby scent is still bothersome and does not mask the surrounding drainage odor. Please consider a clean, refreshing scent like peppermint or eucalyptus.
Overall, we had a wonderful time. The restaurant though is not that big to accommodate the hotel guests during breakfasf time, so if you go there around 7am or later, you may have to line up and wait for a long time.
The staff in front desk very politely in answering our enquiries, hotel location closed to terminal 2 airport just 5 minutes walking distance.
Overall very convenient to everywhere, will come back .
The hotel is clean, modern, and well-maintained, and the staff are consistently friendly and accommodating. The amenities and buffet breakfast offer good value for money, though both the elevator wait times and buffet lines can get quite long, especially during peak periods like our check-in on December 24. Despite these minor inconveniences, our overall experience was very positive and I would highly recommend this hotel. One suggestion for improvement would be to offer complimentary connecting rooms for guests who book multiple rooms, as this option is not currently available on popular booking platforms like Trip or Agoda. This would make family or group stays much more convenient.

Upon arrival, the security guard assisted us with our luggage, but no one offered further help until we reached the check-in area or when sending us up to our room. The check-in process was smooth, and we went straight to our room.
As we walked through the corridor, there was a strange smell, but we chose to ignore it. The room itself was spacious and had everything we needed. However, cleanliness was an issue. There were stains on the bathroom floor, the non-slip mat was not very clean, and there was some dust around the room. We overlooked these at first.
When it was time to sleep, the pillows had an unpleasant odor, which made me uncomfortable. They didn’t smell fresh, more like dust. Since it was late and my kids were exhausted, my husband simply covered the pillow with his clean shirt so we could rest.
The next morning, I noticed stains on the bed sheets that were clearly not ours. They looked permanent, so I requested housekeeping. The towels also appeared old, no longer white, and while some of the extra towels we requested were acceptable, others were worn out.
Parking was limited, with only a few slots available. Staff informed us that if the lot was full, we would need to pay for parking.
When we returned to our room later, I was disappointed to find that the bed sheets still had the same stains. Housekeeping had only changed the pillowcases.
Overall, the property itself was nice, but cleanliness needs significant improvement. For example, the brown stains in the bathroom should be addressed, the bathroom mat replaced, and the tissue box cleaned, it was black with visible dust and stains.
On a positive note, the air-conditioning filter was clean, which I appreciated, as my previous stay elsewhere had been terrible in that regard.
I’m not sure if I would stay here again. The only highlight was the staff, who were very accommodating and kind.
The room was clean and staff are friendly always greet us good morning. I have a suggestion i hope u need to change the lights in the hallway and the rooms as well coz is kinda dark lol but overall my mum and I had a great time staying at hotel101 coz it’s walking distance going to SM MOA.. ill be back nxt year for sure ❤️
I’ve had a wonderful stay at your hotel—everything has been excellent. The amenities are great, and I really enjoyed the refreshing drinks and coffee at the lounge. The pool and gym access were a big bonus as well. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and I’m definitely coming back again. I’ll happily recommend this place to others!
I arrived past midnight and the reception and checkin attendants are very accommodating. The hotel is evidently new. Room is clean and the size is reasonable. Breakfast is more on a Chinese style. The air condition control is not properly working that the room temperature kept at freezing cold. I had to turn the air condition off sometimes. Overall experience is great, but I can only give a 4 out of 5 stars.
Room okay but cleanliness could be better. Place could b e a bit more homey and cozier. :)
Check in process could also be tricky and not friendly for urgent booking.
You need more time for confirmation.
Staff: Wonderful hotel with professional staff. My booking was originally a king size bed but I requested a twin. They did everything to met my needs.
After a long flight I wasn’t in my best mood and they did understand and deal with me with respect and understanding.
Room: simply wonderful as usual.. this is my fourth or fifth stay and I’M will be always my home in Manila.

EEndless JourneyThe place is clean and quiet. They changed the linens and clean the room for you everyday if you'll stay for at least 2 nights. Convenient place to stay. Breakfast is fine. It's worth it and budget friendly.
MMiranda and Purag Travel BuddiesThis was my third stay at The Bayview, and once again it didn’t disappoint. My room on the 11th floor offered a breathtaking view of the sunrise and sunset—truly the highlight of my stay. The Christmas decorations around the property added a beautiful, festive atmosphere. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, and breakfast featured delicious Filipino food along with great coffee. Transportation was easy, as taxis and Grab rides were readily available after checkout. The guard and hotel staff were consistently friendly and helpful. Another wonderful stay!❤️💪

AAnonymous UserOverall, we had a wonderful time. The restaurant though is not that big to accommodate the hotel guests during breakfasf time, so if you go there around 7am or later, you may have to line up and wait for a long time.
GGuest UserThe room is clean. I liked the bedding because they don’t smell like fabric conditioner. The room has a microwave, a small refrigerator, and a safe. The bathroom and the room are spacious. The hygiene kits are complete, and the room is always cleaned. Coffee, water, shampoo, and soap are regularly refilled. The location is good, near BGC, SM Aura, Market! Market!, and the Venice Grand Canal. The staff are approachable and courteous.
The food price is okay for the portion size, though the service is a bit slow.
There is also a fitness gym and a pool. There’s a 7-Eleven outside and right below the mall. SM Aura is just a 5-minute walk if you want to shop or eat at different restaurants.
All in all, 10/10.

MMaria ChristinaMy family stay here is exceptional. Rooms are fully equipped from kitchen to rooms. Modern interiors are impressive. Staffs are so warm and amenities are extensive. Property is located in prime location too. The experience we got here is beyond our expectations and the value of what we pay for it. We will surely go back alpha suite :)

MMs. HayleyMy Unforgettable Experience at Lanson Place Manila
From the moment I stepped into Lanson Place Manila, I was enveloped in a blend of sophistication and warmth that set the tone for an extraordinary stay. Nestled in the heart of Makati, Manila’s vibrant business and lifestyle hub, this gem offers unparalleled convenience. Just steps away from Ayala Triangle Gardens and a short stroll to high-end malls like Greenbelt and Glorietta, it’s a haven for both business travelers and explorers craving the city’s pulse.
Rooms: A Seamless Fusion of Luxury and Comfort
The spacious, elegantly designed residences and suites felt like a home away from home. My Deluxe Suite boasted floor-to-ceiling windows framing the glittering Makati skyline—a mesmerizing backdrop day and night. The modern interiors, with sleek furnishings and a soothing neutral palette, exuded tranquility. The plush king-sized bed was a dream, complemented by a well-equipped kitchenette (perfect for extended stays) and a marble-clad bathroom with rain showers that melted away the hustle of city life. Tech-savvy touches like smart lighting and high-speed Wi-Fi catered to every need.
Service: Where Hospitality Shines
What truly elevated my experience was the staff’s genuine warmth and attentiveness. From the concierge who secured last-minute dinner reservations to the housekeeping team’s meticulous care, every interaction felt personalized. They even remembered my morning coffee preference—a small detail that made a world of difference.
Dining: Culinary Delights with a View
Breakfast at The Great Room was a feast for the senses, offering everything from silog (a Filipino favorite) to artisanal pastries. The highlight? Unwind Sky Lounge on the 12th floor. Sipping a signature cocktail as the sun dipped below the skyline was pure magic. The mixologists’ creativity and the tapas-style bites (try the adobo croquettes!) were unforgettable.
Amenities: Wellness and Productivity
The 24/7 fitness center, outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment, kept my routine intact. The rooftop infinity pool, though compact, provided a serene escape with panoramic views. Business travelers will appreciate the sleek meeting rooms and coworking spaces, balancing productivity with comfort.
Unique Touches: Thoughtful and Sustainable
Lanson Place’s commitment to sustainability impressed me—think eco-friendly toiletries and energy-efficient systems. The residential vibe, with grocery delivery services and a cozy library lounge, added a distinctive charm.
Final Thoughts
Lanson Place Manila isn’t just a hotel—it’s an urban sanctuary where luxury meets heartfelt service. Whether you’re here for business, leisure, or a blend of both, this property exceeds expectations. I’m already planning my return to this slice of paradise in the city.
Rating: 5/5 stars – A flawless blend of location, luxury, and Filipino hospitality. 🌟
