We had a perfect stay at Pan Pacific Suzhou!
The suite was incredibly spacious and comfortable, consisting of two connected rooms. One room featured a king-size bed, a large living room, and a luxurious bathroom with a huge bathtub. The second room had two single beds, which was perfect for our two adult children.
The layout was very thoughtful, with two separate bathrooms and toilets, plus an additional guest toilet in the living room. With four of us staying together, we never had to wait for the bathroom — a huge convenience!
The hotel grounds are absolutely stunning, featuring beautiful gardens, traditional architecture, and a pagoda, making it feel like a scenic attraction in itself. As a special bonus, the hotel provided a complimentary 60-minute Hanfu experience, allowing us to take wonderful photos around the property.
Honestly, the hotel is so beautiful that you could easily spend a day exploring the grounds without leaving. Another thoughtful touch was that each room was provided with an entire carton of bottled mineral water, which was greatly appreciated.
Overall, an exceptional stay with spacious accommodations, beautiful surroundings, and excellent hospitality. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Suzhou!
The hotel's location is excellent, and the city view from the room is fantastic. However, it is an older hotel, so the facilities are quite dated. Things like dim lighting and the elevator not showing the current floor are understandable. But the service was really subpar. It was advertised that they have robot service, but all food deliveries had to be picked up from a locker downstairs. What exactly is the robot service used for then? Also, toilet paper wasn't replenished in the bathroom. My booking confirmation stated that breakfast was included, and I had even double-checked it on the platform beforehand. Yet, when I went to the restaurant, I was told my room type didn't include breakfast. I had to call the front desk to confirm, and the result was still no breakfast. So, is this a platform issue or a hotel management problem? Honestly, this was the worst service experience I've had in years.

My stay at the Furong Garden, Building 8, at Yangzhou Xiyuan Hotel was fantastic overall.
As hotels with ”Xiyuan” (meaning 'guesthouse' or 'reception hall') in their name often are, the environment truly lived up to its reputation. The garden landscape is beautiful; it felt like I was living right in a park, and morning and evening strolls were incredibly pleasant. Building 8 is relatively new, with elegant and sophisticated decor. The room was spacious and bright, the hygiene details were well taken care of, and the bedding was comfortable, leading to a very peaceful night's sleep.
The service also deserves praise. After booking, the staff were all very warm and professional, and any requests were generally met promptly. The breakfast selection was rich, and the local Yangzhou specialties at Quyuan were very authentic and definitely worth trying.
The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient to visit Slender West Lake. It offers both the tranquility of a garden hotel and the convenience of easy access.
If you're visiting Yangzhou for travel or a family vacation, Building 8 comes highly recommended. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Yangzhou.

The location is fantastic, with a bustling view of Xinjiekou right outside the window. What impressed me most was the service – friendly, polite, and incredibly responsive. The dining options exceeded expectations; the breakfast was diverse with Nanjng specialties, and the formal meals were exquisitely prepared. The room was well-maintained, clean, and the bedding was comfortable. Overall, it was a great experience.
The service was excellent, and all the staff were very friendly and responsive. We had dinner at the hotel, and the food quality was surprisingly good. I especially want to commend the Jia Restaurant on the 56th floor of the Asia Pacific Tower. On our first night, we tried their mini hotpot, and the two single sets were more than enough for two people. The staff were incredibly enthusiastic, promptly helping with drinks, clearing plates, and cooking items. We also loved the buffet selection! We had such a happy meal! The next morning, we debated between the ground floor breakfast buffet and the 56th-floor one, but decided to go back to the 56th floor – and we were so glad we did! It was another wonderful experience, feeling right at home. There were many dishes available in the morning. For instance, a waitress kindly cut the Jinling large meat bun for us so we could each have half, which we really appreciated. A big thank you to CY and MYF from Jia Restaurant for their attentive service. The view was also excellent; we could see the beautiful city from our seats. All in all, I highly recommend trying it! I truly appreciate such thoughtful service!
We booked afternoon tea at the Executive Lounge, which featured a beautiful birdcage design. The happy hour's light dinner, part of the executive benefits, was also delicious! I had previously celebrated a birthday at Meiyuan, so this time, I decided to try the Pacific Western Restaurant before checking out, which also offered a beautiful setting and attentive service. I feel like I'll be back very soon just for the delicious food.

The hotel is incredibly close to Slender West Lake, offering direct views of the lake from the Teahouse building. It's about a 500-meter walk from the hotel entrance to the East Gate of Slender West Lake. The hotel staff are also very warm and accommodating, always ready to help. They even provided complimentary afternoon tea vouchers.
The Gu Shi Photography Studio on the hotel's M floor is also fantastic. They have a wide variety of Hanfu (traditional Chinese clothing) available in different seasons and styles. After changing into your chosen outfit, the photographer takes you to beautiful spots around the hotel with props for a photoshoot. The photographer was very patient and friendly, providing various ancient-style props and guiding me to take beautiful pictures. Afterward, you can select your favorite photos one by one, and the photographer will retouch them according to your ideas. My first experience with a Hanfu travel photoshoot was truly wonderful!
The Si Qing Tang Living Room, also on the M floor, offers free calligraphy sessions, both with hard or soft brushes. The service there is also very friendly.

On Saturday, February 21st, I checked into the Junyue Hotel. It's located right in the city center, which is super convenient – T12 shopping mall and the bustling Chong'an Temple area are right outside. The hotel definitely has some age, so the facilities are a bit older, but overall, the service and amenities are quite comprehensive. Things like luggage storage and the front desk service were excellent. Even during the holiday, the prices didn't really increase, which was a pleasant surprise and very fair.

Facilities: The overall facilities in the room are quite new; it doesn't feel like an old hotel. The bathroom has a separate sliding door and is separated from the bed by a wall, which provides good sound insulation and privacy. There's a full-length mirror. The hairdryer is very powerful.
Service: During the May Day holiday, they offered a short fireworks display in the evening, which was very impressive and significantly enhanced our stay. The greeters at the main entrance were very welcoming and helpful with our luggage, which was a thoughtful touch. Breakfast was a buffet with a rich variety of dishes.
Environment: The hotel's public areas are very beautiful and upscale. There are also accompanying dining options, which is convenient. The front desk mentioned that Jichangxuan (a restaurant) requires guests to queue in person, but it would be better if in-house guests could make phone reservations.
Drawbacks: ① The shower water temperature fluctuated between hot and cold. While it didn't cause a major issue, it was definitely present. ② The room doors are quite heavy, and opening and closing them makes a loud noise, so you can hear other rooms' doors. ③ The disposable slippers were of average quality, with thin soles that weren't non-slip. Every time I stepped onto the small ledge in the bathroom, it was uncomfortable.
The stay experience was particularly good, the front desk checked in quickly, and the service was gentle and polite. The room was very clean, the bedding was soft and comfortable, the sound insulation was good, and the night was very quiet. The hot water supply is sufficient, the network speed is smooth, the surrounding travel and eating are convenient, the price is very high, and the next business trip will give priority to this one.

We switched from a hotel near the Grand Canal to this one, a classic five-star establishment. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome, truly setting a vacation mood. The concierge service was outstanding. The hotel's location is absolutely perfect for a trip to Yangzhou; it feels like Daming Temple, Slender West Lake, morning tea, the Ancient City Park, and Yangzhou Banquet are all part of the hotel's amenities. The best part? Soaking in the hot springs after a long day of sightseeing is the most anticipated moment of the trip. We loved it so much that we immediately extended our stay for another night. Highly recommended! For a family of three, getting this level of service, scenery, and amenities for just 200 per person is truly excellent value. It's definitely our top choice for visiting Yangzhou with kids.

Facilities: Fully equipped and as comfortable as home. My kids actually said ”wow” as soon as they opened the door.
Minibar on first night: My kids loved the complimentary snacks on the first night.
Garment care experience: I absolutely loved the garment care machine. I've stayed in so many hotels and guesthouses, and this is the first time I've encountered such a high-end appliance. The experience was truly excellent.
Environment: The view from the window is superb. There are two large shopping malls nearby, and it's very close to the subway station. There's also a cruise ship terminal nearby. It's a quiet environment amidst the hustle and bustle. Fantastic!
Service: We received a free room upgrade, and the butler was very attentive and accommodating. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Suzhou!

FFairy DeeThe hotel is lovely. Especially the service from the staff. Most of them speak English and are always willing to help. If anything goes wrong they make sure to correct it and leave you satisfied. Rooms are quiet and spacious. The breakfast is good , has bit of variety of western and Chinese food. The highlight for me was the food truck by the patio. It sells affordable and delicious hotdogs and very yummy ice-cream. there is a small water show in the evening as well . It’s also near a mall so many food options. A little far from the subway or train station but I’ll still give it a 10/10!

CChifanpeiyinliaoThis hotel is definitely a great place to walk your kids! The ecology is very good! We even saw a hare! But maybe it’s because it’s outdoors! It seems like the door to the candy room is a little broken! Not so easy to close! Then the electric cars in the park require money to use but they are too slow! And the cost is a bit high!
The service attitude at the front desk is very good! Very eager to help!
The road to the swimming pool is not easy to walk! Must be very careful! It's easy to fall! The locker room environment needs cleaning!
The interior of the room is clean and acceptable!

Wwl****The location is fantastic, right inside the ancient town. You can get in for free after 5 PM. Plus, after breakfast the next day, you can tour Shen Hall and Zhang Hall for free. The value for money is just incredible! They even provide a bath kit in the room, which is a really thoughtful touch. Big thumbs up, highly recommend!
ZZhudaxiDXI was in Nanjing for a business trip and decided to bring my 2.5-year-old for a visit, but the overall experience was very disappointing.
1. **Misleading Advertising**: The promotional videos made it seem like there were many activities, but in April, the outdoor temperatures were too low. The outdoor water areas were unusable, and facilities like slides were icy cold and unplayable.
2. **Indoor Play Area Restrictions**:
* **Strict Hours**: The indoor playground only opens at 10 AM and closes at 5 PM. As out-of-town visitors, we usually leave around 10 AM to explore attractions and only return after dinner. My early-rising child had nothing to play with. When I asked if they could open earlier, the staff flatly refused, citing 'regulations' (even though staff members were already at the entrance).
* **Limited Access**: Even when open, only a small area with just one small slide was accessible. The other two rooms were completely off-limits to children not in their childcare program.
3. **Lack of Warmth in Service**: For a family-friendly hotel, it was incredibly unaccommodating for young children. We proposed a flexible solution: 'If a child in their childcare program arrives, we'll immediately leave the area,' but the front desk's response was a harsh 'No! You can't come in!' The attitude was cold, leaving no room for discussion.
On the positive side, the hotel's cleanliness and breakfast quality were indeed good, which is commendable.
This hotel might be suitable for families with older children who are okay with strict rules. However, for families with young children like a 2.5-year-old, the experience will be very poor due to the time restrictions and access limitations. The service attitude was inflexible, and I will not be returning.

GGuest UserStaying at the Kimpton Bamboo Grove Suzhou truly made me feel like a valued IHG Silver Elite member. As the first Kimpton in mainland China, both the service and facilities were impressive. What stood out most was the butler service: on the day of check-in, they proactively added me on WeChat and arranged a fantastic garden-view king room. My butler, Vickey, not only focused on our stay experience but also helped us book a table at the hotel's Zhuyu Xuan Chinese Restaurant when they learned we wanted to try authentic Suzhou cuisine. If you're looking for a hotel that combines the charm of Jiangnan gardens with high-quality butler service, this place is definitely worth trying. True luxury often lies in these thoughtful details that anticipate your needs.

GGuest UserAn absolutely wonderful experience! If you're coming to Suzhou, staying in a garden-style setting is a must. This hotel is a conversion of a 300-year-old house. While the building is old, all the facilities are incredibly modern, including a gym, pool, and even Dyson hair dryers. It's just a bridge away from Pingjiang Road, so you can enjoy the bustling lights on one side while having your own tranquil oasis on the other (the courtyard rooms are behind the wall you see in the video). The hotel breakfast is excellent, a semi-buffet of Chinese and Western small plates, complemented by your choice of a Chinese or Western main course. The breakfast noodles are especially delicious, served with fresh water chestnuts and shrimp. I particularly want to commend the hotel's service; it was truly warm and welcoming.
The hotel is a convenient 20-minute walk (or 5-minute bike ride) to Suzhou Museum, Humble Administrator's Garden, and Lion Grove Garden. Ou Garden is a 10-minute walk. Wangshi Garden is a bit further, about a 15-minute bike ride. I'd recommend getting a joint ticket for the first three gardens, which is valid for three days. There are also some fantastic restaurants nearby, and both Pingjiangfu and Jinhaihua are within walking distance. If your budget allows, definitely go for the Songmaoju Suite – it's a private house with its own courtyard, so you won't have to worry about footsteps from above or noise from the shared courtyard. They also have smaller standard rooms to suit various budgets. A small heads-up: one wall of the courtyard rooms faces Pingjiang Road, so it can be a bit noisy during the day, but don't worry, it's very quiet at night.
Just a minor suggestion: the super-large bathroom with a bathtub, double sinks, and three separate areas is fantastic, but there's only one hook. I'd suggest adding a few more. Also, the wardrobe could use some pant hangers.

GGuest UserThe breakfast was quite good, with a decent variety and quality that I really enjoyed. However, it might have been due to a holiday, but there was no one to seat us in the breakfast area. We basically had to find and grab tables ourselves, which made for a rather chaotic experience.
The high-floor city view was indeed fantastic, offering a panoramic outlook. Plus, being right above a shopping mall made it incredibly convenient for shopping, dining, and getting around. I had specifically requested a king-size bed when booking to make it easier with my child, and the hotel arranged it as requested, which was a thoughtful touch.
However, staying with a child presented a few inconveniences: it was difficult for one person to pick up takeout with a child, as the hotel doesn't offer room delivery for external food. I had to go down twice by elevator to retrieve it myself, which was quite a hassle. The elevators were also rather slow, and during peak hours, we waited for a long time. As for amenities, only children's slippers and toothbrushes were provided; no children's toiletries, which was inconvenient.
On a positive note, Kevin Chen from the concierge team deserves praise. His service attitude was excellent, and he was very proactive in helping with any requests, which made me feel very comfortable.

GGuest UserWe booked a private family room, and the housekeeper, Ms. Zhou, checked us in and took us to the guest room. The room has a large bed and a small bed. The bathing pool is in the yard. If you need to soak in the hot spring, just tell Ms. Zhou and she will happily come over and help fill the hot spring water. She is a very nice person. I really like her. No. I had to go to the public hot springs to soak with others, it was very comfortable. I also went to Nanshan Bamboo Sea. The air was very good. I had a very good accommodation experience this time. I will go there often in the future!
GGuest UserI came to Nanjing for Liu Yuning's concert, and the Regalia Hotel I chose this time truly exceeded my expectations. The hotel is about 3 kilometers from the venue, so a taxi ride was very quick. After the show, I could get back to my room quickly to rest, avoiding a lot of traffic headaches. The location is absolutely perfect for concert-goers. What touched me even more was the hotel's service, especially Ada at the front desk. She was so warm and attentive, making me feel incredibly welcomed from check-in to check-out. It added a lot of warmth to my solo fan-chasing trip. Although the room wasn't huge, it was decorated very cozily and was impeccably clean. The bedding was comfortable, allowing me to get a good night's sleep after days of rushing around and the excitement of the concert.
The only 'minor regret' was Nanjing's weather these past two days – the temperature fluctuated quite a bit, which was a bit unexpected. However, the hotel itself was always warm and comfortable. If I come to Nanjing again for a show or to visit, Regalia will definitely be my first choice!
