Stayed here with a family of 5 in December. All the staffs were kind and whenever we asked for help, they had immediate response and were extremely helpful. I used an indoor pool and gym, which were well managed and most importantly clean. We also had a breakfast which consisted of Turkish traditional cuisine and wide range of dishes to choose from. So good that I looked forward to waking up every morning. Grabbing a taxi was easy here but if you’re aiming to tour with a public transportation like bus and metro, you might have to walk +15mins. All in all, operations are smooth, and the facilities are maintained to a very high level. Thanks for the unforgettable times.

Clean and good hotel
Location is far from center in about 2 km but the tram T1 station is exactly infront of the hotel took 1 minutes to reach it
Rooms small but great and strange design
Our stay at Conrad Istanbul Bosphorus was absolutely incredible, a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and elegance. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality that truly made us feel welcome.
The location is ideal, offering easy access to both the historic and modern sides of Istanbul. The hotel is beautifully situated near the Bosphorus, and the views from the room were simply breathtaking, especially at sunrise and sunset.
Our room was spacious, spotless, and elegantly designed with modern touches. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom luxurious, and the housekeeping team ensured everything was immaculate throughout our stay.
The service at Conrad Istanbul is top notch, attentive, professional, and genuinely caring. Every staff member went above and beyond to make sure we had an unforgettable experience. Whether it was at the reception, concierge, or restaurant, the level of detail and personal attention was outstanding.
Breakfast was another highlight, a lavish buffet with a wide variety of Turkish and international dishes, all beautifully presented. The terrace restaurant offers stunning views of the Bosphorus, making each morning feel special.
The hotel facilities are equally impressive, from the elegant lobby and rooftop lounge to the spa, pool, and fitness center, everything reflects Conrad’s world class standards.
Overall, Conrad Istanbul Bosphorus is the perfect choice for anyone seeking a luxurious stay in Istanbul. The combination of elegant interiors, stunning views, and impeccable service made our visit truly memorable.
Highly recommended! A true 5-star experience in every way.

I stayed only for one night and, honestly, I liked the experience. It was a rainy day so I just went to the gym, had some room service, worked a bit (wifi is really good).
Breakfast was great too, especially breads, pastries and sweets sections. The only disappointment (however, a big one) was coffee - I would much rather wait a bit and have it made by a barista.

We were originally very happy with our experience of this hotel but unfortunately on the second to last night of our stay somebody opened our room door and tried to enter at 3:00am in the morning. Luckily we kept our door on chain so they couldn't come in, we shouted at the man and they said they were hotel security. There was no knock, no warning so of course this scared my wife and my daughter and we couldn't get back to sleep again and felt unsafe for the rest of our stay. Hotel staffed explained this was their security checking empty rooms if this is the case then the hotel needs a new or review their system to be 100% sure the rooms are empty before trying to enter. Not sure we can recommend or would want to stay at this hotel again in future.
The hotel’s location is very strategic, making it convenient for getting around Istanbul. The staff are friendly, helpful, and welcoming, and the breakfast is truly excellent with a very good selection.
The only downside during my stay was that the room had an unpleasant smell. I stayed in Room 415, and although I tried running hot water in both the sink and the shower, the odor did not go away.
I hope the management can address this issue, as it would greatly improve the overall experience and help maintain the hotel’s good reputation.
This is my second visit within two months, and I am extremely satisfied with the service and the staff, and grateful for their attentiveness. The staff are always ready to help and very friendly; it's also super safe for a woman traveling alone, and I feel very comfortable.
1. My 8-night stay was the most bizarre experience I've had in all the countries I've visited. On the first day, when I went to the toilet for a number two, I only realized afterward that the toilet bowl was stained with urine from top to bottom. It was absolutely disgusting. I immediately called the front desk to send someone to clean it. A while later, someone came and cleaned it. The cleaning guy was quite responsible and did a good job, and I gave him 100 lira as a tip.
2. On the second day, while my colleague and I were having breakfast, a hotel duty manager was conducting a guest satisfaction survey and collecting suggestions. When she asked me, I mentioned my dissatisfaction from the previous day. She was very attentive, which I really appreciate, and noted my room number, promising to look into it seriously and move us to a better room. So, after breakfast, I told the front desk I'd switch rooms when I returned in the evening. I got back to the hotel around 10 PM and was informed by the front desk that we'd been moved to the highest floor. I thought, 'This must be a room upgrade!' I was feeling quite excited and happy. We waited in our room for about 30 minutes, and finally, a young man came with a luggage cart to move our bags and take us to the new room. This is where the bizarre experience happened. We were originally on the 26th floor, and our new room was on the 33rd floor. Surprisingly, the hotel elevator couldn't go directly to the 33rd floor. We had to go to the 30th, 31st, or 32nd floor, then get out, walk around a corner, enter a small elevator, and then go up to the 33rd floor. I immediately had a bad feeling – was this some kind of trap? So, we nervously made our way to the room on the 33rd floor. As soon as we entered, we found the area was significantly smaller than our previous room. The beds were closer together, and there was no desk or sofa. The bathroom was also nearly half the size. I was completely baffled. This was no upgrade; they were playing games with us. We were so disappointed that we didn't expect much help from them, so we asked them to move us back to our original room. So, we went all the way back, still staying in the same room. Of course, it involved taking two elevators to get back.
3. On the next day, my colleague called them to send some tea. The person on the phone readily agreed, but little did he know he waited a whole hour, and no one came. Later, I called them again, and they finally arrived belatedly.
4. The two bottles of hand soap on our sink were dusty, and from the moment I checked in until I left the hotel, I never saw any cleaning staff wipe them during room cleaning. The hygiene is truly terrible. I have photos to prove it.
5. On our last two days, when I pulled back the covers to sleep, there was a stain on the bed. Because I was too tired, I couldn't be bothered to call them and just slept, avoiding that area.
6. A female server in their lounge completely ignored me when I asked her for the bill. She didn't even respond. I called her three times with no answer. Eventually, out of frustration, I went to the smoking area for a cigarette and then came back to stare at her and ask if she could give me the bill now. Only then did she slowly hand me the bill. I paid cash.
These are my genuine experiences during my 8 days at this Marriott. Honestly, it's not good at all; it doesn't even come close to a 5-star standard. The service, hygiene, and facilities are all completely substandard, and I even left them at least 100 lira in tips every day. I hope everyone looks for a Marriott elsewhere; this one offers extremely poor value for money.

I can't say I stay in a proper Hotel. This hotel holds the name of the Hilton but it was a terrible experience. The first problem is the bathroom. Shower equipment was broken, it was very hard to maintain the water temperature and pressure. The design of the bathtubs-shower combination was horrible. You need to step up into the bath tube and it is so dangerous. The breakfast was very good but the coffee and tea were terrific. A good hotel can't buy an automatic espresso machine. They were serving low quality instant coffee. And I couldn't even drink a proper Turkish tea. Location is not bad and the city view was avarage.

A Truly Exceptional Stay at DoubleTree by Hilton! Topkapi Istanbul
From the moment we arrived, we were treated with genuine warmth and professionalism that made our stay unforgettable. The entire team at DoubleTree by Hilton went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed, comfortable, and cared for every single day.
A special shout-out to Zineb from guest services, greeted with a warm smile and made check-in a breeze. Ozen & Melisa from reception was incredibly helpful in arranging local tours and dining recommendations — every suggestion was spot-on!
Also want to thank Ali & Mustafa from ballboy services, whose attentive and proactive care made us feel like VIPs, who was not only efficient but also shared great tips for exploring the area.
This team is truly the heart of the hotel — their friendliness, professionalism, and dedication created a warm and inviting atmosphere we won’t forget. Thank you all for a 5-star experience — we’ll definitely be back!

I loved staying here. It's a little out of the way but still only eight minutes on foot to Sultanahmet square. Nice and quiet. Large clean room with great bed and great pillows. Looks new inside. Wonderful breakfast with fabulous views on the 5th floor. There is a spa downstairs so I got a nice massage. Great staff who helped me out with all my requests. I highly recommend this hotel.
My first night was a disaster because my room's power supply kept cutting off and they took almost 3 to 4 hours to fix it, due to that I couldn't sleep the whole night and my morning plans got wasted too. I asked the hotel manager Mr.Arda to give me an extra night, (he refused), airport transfer on my checkout date , (he refused) , room upgrade, (he refused) , Then Mr Arda promised us a complimentary dinner at the rooftop restaurant and that was amazing .My initial plan was to stay 3 nights but then I extended it for 2 more nights because of 1 man Mr.Karem at the reception , the nicest guy of the hotel , Mr.Karem and Mr.Arda helped us alot and supported us in every aspect, but sorry to say all the other staff members there had just 1 answer. im sorry we cannot help you we cannot help you , I'll definitely visit again, Thanks to Mr.Arda and Mr.Karem ❤️ and lastly thanks to Mr.Servet who told us about the free shuttle service provided by the hotel which takes us to Taksim . Thank you, Double Tree Regards Akif
Crowne Plaza Istanbul – Old City: Refined Comfort and Remarkable Service (Room 3219) As someone who travels frequently for both professional and personal reasons, often staying in dozens of hotels across different countries each year, I’m not easily impressed. Yet, my recent stay at the Crowne Plaza Istanbul – Old City genuinely stood out. It’s a property that masterfully combines thoughtful design, polished service, and a location that captures the very essence of Istanbul’s history and rhythm. An Experience Worth Remembering Location & Access Situated in the heart of the city’s historic core, this hotel makes exploration effortless. From here, it’s just a short walk to the Grand Bazaar, Sultanahmet, and several key transport links. The setting feels authentic and lively; ideal for guests who want proximity without sacrificing comfort. Room 3219 – Exceptional Comfort The room offered a superb balance of functionality and elegance. It was impeccably clean, featuring plush bedding, perfect lighting for reading or work, and a surprisingly quiet HVAC system, a rarity in city hotels. Small details, like the scent of fresh linen and a spotless bathroom, reinforced the sense of care behind the housekeeping standards. Service & Staff The staff are the heartbeat of this property. Every interaction, from check-in to checkout, reflected professionalism anchored in genuine warmth. They anticipated needs before being asked, making the experience feel personal rather than procedural. This consistency across teams’ front desk, dining, and housekeeping speaks volumes about the culture of service within the hotel. Dining Experience Breakfast was both indulgent and efficient. The buffet selection was diverse, featuring beautifully presented dishes that catered to both international and local palates. The staff handled the morning rush with grace and precision, maintaining quality and attentiveness without any sense of haste. Facilities & Ambience Public areas were spotless and aesthetically cohesive. The fitness and spa areas were well-maintained, creating a serene environment ideal for unwinding after long days in the city. The lounge and lobby were comfortable enough to double as workspaces, a feature that frequent travelers will appreciate. The One Minor Quirk I noticed some early-morning noise, mostly the seagulls, a distant metro vibration, and a faint scratchy sound around 6 a.m. While this didn’t detract from the overall stay, it’s worth noting for lighter sleepers. It’s a subtle reminder that even in the most refined settings, Istanbul’s energy has its own morning rhythm. Final Thoughts What defines the Crowne Plaza Istanbul – Old City isn’t just its luxury—it’s the consistency of experience. Every aspect feels considered and intentional. Having stayed at countless hotels across Europe, the Middle East, and North America, it’s rare to find one that strikes this balance of local charm and international polish. I often recommend property to colleagues who travel as frequently as I do, and this one has already made it to the top of that list. It leaves one wondering: how might the experience differ in another season, on a higher floor, or in one of the suites overlooking the skyline? Would the same quiet elegance and seamless service hold up under different conditions? Those are questions I find myself curious to explore again, perhaps sooner than I planned.
Amazing! I am a female sojourner in Istanbul for four days, if you are worried to travel alone this is the place to be! Super nice staff, amazing food (Nobu is famous Japanese cuisine) I tried spa, all restaurant, and the breakfast is superb over 5star (they do provide champagne for breakfast) Bed are huge; showers are great, a bit hiccup for the shower floor flooding but they manage to solve it. For taxi, pls book in advance with concierge so no more hustle from hotel to airport (45mins ride)
I had a wonderful stay at the Elite wiorld Hotel in Istanbul. Apart from the location, everything was great. The staff were friendly and polite, especially spa Alfie best massage, who was exceptional and extremely polite and professional I also really enjoyed the open breakfast and the high quality of the food..
I'm there for the legendary Agatha Christie! ✨ She stayed here while writing ”Murder on the Orient Express.” This 128-year-old hotel hosted hundreds of Orient Express passengers! 🚂 Feeling the history in the lobby and seeing the world's 3rd elevator! 🤩 So excited! The facilities are perfect, and the little balcony is adorable! 😍 #AgathaChristie #OrientExpress #Hotel #Travel #History #Luxury
The hotel is located very close to Istiklal street, and surprisingly close to Galata Tower. You can walk straight up the road and be at Galata Tower with 15 minutes. The hotel itself is very clean and the staff are very nice and really helpful. The first day I was there, the shower in my room didn't work, and the tap was actually broken. They changed my room and helped me so quickly. Other than a window that didn't want to close, and an aircon that was on but not working, everything else went quite smoothly.
A lovely hotel - super aesthetic, and you can tell it's full of culture. We arrived around 2 am, tired as expected, and the receptionist was just wonderful. There was some confusion around the deposit and method of payment, but he was extra patient and accommodating. Just a shame that no one greeted us outside / helped with the bags, which we saw happen for some other guests (for us, the concierge just stood at the entrance watching us - not really the kind of welcome I'd expect for a 5 star hotel). We asked for two room cards, one of which stopped working on the second day, but that was quickly fixed by reception. We also realized that one card worked better for turning the room 'on' than the other card. One would always 'disconnect' and turn the electricity off, so that took a bit of trial and error. Calling reception wasn't always productive, unfortunately. Sometimes they didn't answer at all, so we had to go downstairs to them instead. The housekeeping line was a bit more useful. We asked reception/housekeeping for an iron/ironing board and had to wait almost 45 minutes for it. We also asked for room service and we could tell the bedsheets weren't changed / bathroom wasn't cleaned. It wasn't really an issue for us, but for a 5 star hotel, I expected a little better room service. We loved the breakfast. So many options and a great variety. Some of the waiters/waitresses didn't seem too happy to be there, which isn't great when you're going to have breakfast and see unhappy faces all around you. But, I came across the sous chef on more than one occasion and he was a delight. There was one waiter who was also lovely, and chatted to me about where I was from and how interested he was in the Spanish language. Location of the hotel is great, within walking distance for several of Istanbul's 'hot spots'. Only 10 min walk from the ferry station, about 15 min walk to Hagia Sophia or the Grand Bazaar, and a bit further to get to the Blue Mosque. Galata Tower is also within walking distance if you enjoy a good walk. If not, there are plenty of tram/bus stations around. We stayed for 6 nights and never needed to use the tram/bus, though (walked around 15k-16k steps a day!).
