aso boy Review

It is a sightseeing train from Kumamoto Station to Triangle Station. The calm atmosphere is black with gold-stained appearance, carved with angel glass, wooden ceilings with gold logo, classical patterned fluff cover, and colorful ice chip glass everywhere.

Aso Boy (Asu Boy), originally running on the JR express train from Hakata to Asu in Kyushu. The road from Kumamoto to Asu was damaged due to the 2016 Kumamoto earthquake and was changed to run between Beppu and Asu. The full car is designated seat. Black puppy is its LOGO. There are 4 sections in the carriage, and the third section (Cargo3) is a parent-child carriage. The cafe, ocean ball pool and seal are all located in this section. A must-do JR train to Kyushu.

A special train in Kawaii. Fortunately, I booked the cutest carriage from Azu back to Oita. The exterior and interior of the train are cartoon style. Before arriving, the conductor also sent candy printed with the train pattern to take souvenir photos of passengers.

I can only say our experience was so-soWe took the Aso Boy on Monday, 5th February 2024, with a high expectation for a fun and exciting experience based on the advertised information on your company website in the "Enjoyment" section.Since we were traveling with 3 children, we were looking forward to spending the 3-hour trip in the following ways:* Having a cabin attendant by the Wood-Filled Pool;* reading through some of the book collections;* stamping and collecting the commemorative cards;* perhaps purchasing refreshments from the cafeteriaWe were quite disappointed that none of the above were opened as they were the main appeals as advertised on their website.Due to the difficulty in booking seats, after missing the booking for 4th February 2024, we purposely delayed our whole travel plan by a day to board this "special" train ride. If only we knew that none of these facilities were open, we would've sought other means of transportation instead.One highlight of this train was that the train master was attentive to young children and spent time teaching them origami, but other than this, the above-closed facilities brought disappointments that overshadowed the better parts of the experience.So make sure to double-check these fine details before booking/reservation.

The Aso Boy carriage was filled with small black dogs of various postures, not so much a train, but a moving playground, naughty little black dogs, occupying every corner of the Aso Boy. More valuable is the service of the flight attendant, patiently and meticulously accompanied the children to play, no matter which country they come from, no matter what language they speak. The daughter, along with the other children, is intoxicated by the unique atmosphere of the Azu Boy. Parents can buy a coffee at the shop and sit leisurely, take a souvenir card and knock on a chapter to mark the memorable trip. If you have children, feel it.

The designated seat of the car is the most favorite car 180-degree view window. In fact, several special trains in Kyushu are very fond of, whether it is spraying, car design or dining, they are very thoughtful. The ticket of Aso Boy seems to be tight, it is best to choose a seat as soon as you arrive in Kyushu. Don't forget to stamp a commemorative stamp on the car.

For trains that need to be reserved, a designated seat must be requested. If there is no ticket for the designated seat, even if there is a seat, you can't get on the bus. Because of the Kumamoto earthquake in 2016, the trains to Asu volcano are still out of service (January 2018, when I went), the ice cream in Asu small country is very delicious. There is a car specially for children to play, there are special personnel to take care of. There is also a small black dog on the window.
