Bayi Town is the capital of Nyingchi, Tibet, located on the banks of the Niyang River, more than 30 kilometers from the intersection of Yarlung Zangbu and Niyang River, and more than 400 kilometers from Lhasa City. In the early years, this town was a base camp for the construction of Tibet in the mainland such as Sichuan and Yunnan. A large number of convoys from Sichuan-Tibet Highway and Yu-Tibet Highway passed here, so there are many people in the mainland here, and there are many Sichuan people who open restaurants, hotels and shops in the town.
