The Hong Kong Museum of Art is one of the museums under the Leisure and Cultural Services Department. Established in 1962, the Hong Kong Museum of Art was originally located on the high seat of the Hong Kong General Hall. In 1991, a new pavilion near the Hong Kong Cultural Centre in Tsim Sha Tsui was built, so it was relocated to its present site. The Hong Kong Museum of Art also has a branch of the Teaware Museum, which is located in the Hong Kong Park of Golden Bell, Hong Kong Island.
