Lotus Village Review

The park with the theme of commemorating Zhao Meng𫖯 integrates the imitation Song garden created by Zhao Meng𫖯 Wuxing residence with many elements. It can be visited together with Zhao Meng𫖯 Art Museum across the road. Pavilions, lake waves reflections, strange stones, and beautiful scenery.

Lotus Villa is a famous garden resort in history. "Lotus blossoms, Jinyun is all over", "Wu Xing Yi". The garden covers an area of 112 mu, and the layout will form a picture of mountains, water bodies, plants and buildings according to the specific terrain, forming a rich and multi-colored scene space. The design has ten scenes such as Bailu Chunxiao, Yunying Qingyin, Songquan Yinyue, Libohexiang, Red Lihuashu, etc., showing the local style of Huzhou with a long history and beautiful mountains and rivers.

Located in the center of Huzhou City, Lotuszhuang Park is free to open. History can be traced back to the Yuan Dynasty's big calligrapher Zhao Meng 𫖯's other profession, so although it is not big, it has a special charm.

莲花庄是始建于元代的古典园林建筑，由楷书四大家之一赵孟頫的所建。位于湖州市吴兴区。[1]在唐宋时代，莲花庄一带被叫做白苹洲，风光旖旎，为一郡之胜。唐代大诗人白居易曾于开成四年（838）写下了《白苹洲五记》。自元代大书画家赵孟頫在此建置别业，始名莲花庄。数百年来，这里以碧水风荷，景色幽绝著称。清光绪《归安县志》称莲花庄“在月河之东南，四面皆水，荷花盛开时锦云百顷”。清末以后，逐渐荒芜废圮。建国后，曾将其一角辟为青年公园。
