it’s a large cave with impressive stalactites and stalagmites. as per Chinese displays - it’s beautifully lit for photos and I enjoyed reading the names for each different area based upon what they feel it looks like - snowman, mushroom trees, lion guarding against strangers etc it’s 90rmb for an adult to go in and it’s lovely and cool away from the humidity and heat. wear good shoes it’s wet and slippery as you’d expect. I paid the extra 38rmb inside to go into the side part of the cave that they’ve set up with optical illusions; bubbles; fog and light displays - fantastic for kids and those wanting insta-fame. there were very few people there today so I wasn’t rushed and got some lovely photos. outside are hawkers trying to sell you everything and although most I’d ignore I was lucky there was a local artist painting with his fingers and palms the beautiful guilin scenery which he explained the technique etc to me which was wonderful to listen to. it’s nice to see the cave and it took about an hour to do with no crowds.
