Luocheng Ancient Town is known as "China's Noah Ark". Luocheng Ancient Town is located in the northeast of Qianwei County, 60 kilometers away from Leshan City and 25 kilometers away from Qianwei County. There are seven nationalities living in Han, Hui, Yi, Manchu, Tibet, Li and Miao. The main street of the ancient town, Liangting Street, commonly known as "Ship Street", was built in the first year of Chongzhen in the Ming Dynasty (1628). Today, the surviving old street still retains some of the cultural features of the old Sichuan culture in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Luocheng Ancient Town is not the oldest town in Sichuan, but it retains the old Sichuan culture relatively intact. In a sense, boat-shaped street may be one of the oldest "shopping mall" prototypes in Sichuan and even in China.
