During Jiajing, it took more than ten years to build a Sanqing Temple in this place, covering an area of 400 square feet. The temple is magnificently built and has many temples, including the Sanqing Grand Palace, the Ancestral Master Palace, the Jade Emperor Palace, the Lingguan Palace, Leizu Palace, the Temple of Wealth and other temples. With the town evil, the town guards the temple. Today, Chongqing people often hang their mouths in Qixinggang haunted, and the evil in Shangqingsi Town came from this. As soon as the Taoist Temple was completed, it immediately became a place where good men and women were flocking. Because of the riverside here, it is convenient to boat and raft, and the benefit of the crowds of temples. Sensible merchants smelled the business opportunities and began to open business here. Soon from the original stall vendors to stall shops, around the Sanqing Temple formed a large trading market with a strong commercial atmosphere. Later, the Sanqing Temple was renamed Shangqing Temple. People used to call the area with the most eye-catching landmarks here. The name Shangqing Temple has been called to the present. Shangqing Temple has been incense and flourishing for two generations, and the faithful have been full of people. But there was an unexpected wind and clouds. In 1924, the Sichuan Dujun Xiong Kewu withdrew from Sichuan, and the warlords of the size of the border were left in the war, and they were in a scuffle. Since then, the once-dominant Shangqing Temple began its decline. Shangqing Temple is now an important traffic node connected to Jiangbei in Chongqing. Chongqing's earliest Jialing River Bridge and the first double-line bridge - the Macao Bridge are located here. The history behind it is very different from the function it now carries, but what does it have to do? When you stand on the flyover of the turntable and gaze at the Shangqing Temple, the magnificent temple will penetrate time and space, standing silently in the imagination of the past, never disappeared. Because, the land of modern progress under our feet has always been under the only name: Shangqing Temple.
