The Pamahatai Temple was built in the period of Bao Jomalaja I, and its main tower was about 40 meters high. It was one of the earliest Khmer-style pagodas built in the city, but only the base of the bottom, and the traces of plaster decoration can be seen from the pagodas around it. Built more than 600 years ago, the Pamahatai Temple has the earliest Khmer-style pagoda built in the city, and the pagoda has preserved several relatively intact Buddha statues and many ruined Buddha statues.
