Romantic Hotels in Anhui, China

I traveled during the May Day holiday, avoiding the peak crowd, and my highly anticipated Huangshan trip was absolutely perfect. I originally planned to stay at a hotel on Bright Summit, but I changed it at the last minute the day before my hike. I'm so glad I chose Baiyun Hotel! The five-star service was impeccable – they provided foot soak tubs, shoe dryers, flashlights, and even down jackets. In the evening, they thoughtfully delivered fruit, and the 'Wogan' mandarins were incredibly sweet. The breakfast was also very rich and varied. Just a small suggestion: two bottles of water in the room felt a bit scarce, and the 160 CNY dinner buffet wasn't as good as breakfast; it could definitely be improved. Manager Xiao Min was excellent, and the self-directed performances by everyone were fantastic.

Wonderful hotel, quietly located in Tunxi. The staff was very helpful with all our requests. We spend 2 nights here to go to the yellow mountains which was a one hour drive one way. We had to leave one night earlier and staff was so kind to refund us that night which we hadn't asked for. The rooms are very nice and quiet comfy. I would certainly recommend this hotel and I hope to come back in the future!

The service was attentive, and our butler was very thoughtful. However, the room facilities were just average. Due to the room size, there wasn't enough space for a wardrobe or a mini-fridge. Although it had a private hot spring, honestly, for the price, it wasn't great value for money. On the positive side, I must praise the hotel and scenic area staff – they were all excellent, warm, and attentive! As for the scenic area itself, it was packed with tourists because of the May Day holiday, so the experience was pretty mediocre.

Absolutely loved the hotel's design! From the moment you step into the elevator from the parking lot, it feels ancient and charming. As you walk through the corridors and enter the lobby, there's even a fireplace where you can roast mandarins and marshmallows [milk tea emoji]. The entire design blends oriental aesthetics with unique Southern Anhui features like bamboo, tiles, and stone slabs throughout. The only downside is that rooms on the ground floor can get a bit damp, and the air conditioning is a bit loud [facepalm emoji]. Design and functionality are completely fine though, with an indoor onsen, kids' area, gym, and breakfast – all good for a short stay of a few days. However, compared to a true resort hotel, it might fall a little short.

The location is great, right on Huaihe Road Pedestrian Street, making shopping very convenient. There's a Kawangka and a Zhan Ji downstairs, and it's super close to the Former Residence of Li Hongzhang. Subway access is also very easy, just a few minutes walk, and there are large shopping malls nearby. The hotel's front desk service was excellent; anything I requested was delivered quickly. The Chinese breakfast options were hot and delicious, which was a definite plus. Being on a high floor, it was very quiet, and I slept really well. Areas for improvement: When I brought my own sheets, they weren't neatly made up. The Western breakfast selection was limited, and the small bed in the family room had a rather basic headboard. I hope they continue to improve and get even better. Hefei is definitely worth a visit!

The room was fantastic and spacious! We definitely picked the right hotel for our couple's getaway this time. Its location is super close to the South High-Speed Railway Station, making getting around incredibly convenient. The room itself was huge and roomy, and the tranquil Italian-inspired decor was perfect for photos. The smart amenities were a breeze to use, and the air purification system was a great bonus. The cleanliness was top-notch, not a speck of dust anywhere, and the environment was quiet and peaceful – absolutely no noise. The staff were warm, attentive, and always happy to help, which made our stay absolutely perfect. The facilities are comprehensive and modern, and the value for money is outstanding. We'll definitely be staying here again next time we're in Hefei. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city!

The room was well lit, cleaned spotlessly, the bedding was particularly safe to sleep, the sound insulation effect was good, and the night was quiet and not noisy.
