I booked for two days as a solo traveler. The room was very spacious, and having an elevator made it much more convenient than staying inside the old town. My main activity was hiking, which meant my clothes would get sweaty and dusty. The hotel having a washer-dryer combo was incredibly convenient for this, but unfortunately, it suddenly stopped drying on the second day, which was a real shame. The room was well-equipped, though some amenities had minor imperfections. For example, the Xiao Ai smart speaker wasn't connected to the internet, so its smart functions couldn't be used; the hotel might need to ensure it's properly connected. Overall, at this price point, it's an excellent choice. I'd definitely come back again.

The hotel is similar to other City Comfort Inn, the amenities good and room clean, toilet is good too. The staff servicing is wonderful., the counter told that their windows room does not have a city view instead its facing the residential units. Too bad, I was hoping for city view. My only concern on this hotel is that the location is not really near the main shopping district, you need to walk about 2km or take taxi. During my 5 days stay I still didnt manage to use the metro as a convenient transport, instead I walk or get ehailing driver to pick up. Another difficulty I have is that the drop off and pick up point for taxi or e hailing car is block by motorcycle lane, so its difficult to carry luggage and go through fast riding motorcyclist. There are many eateries within 10 minutes walk, and there are TCM pharmacy as well bread store just beside the hotel. Its fine if you are traveling lite and staying few days. Just don't expect its really at main shopping district or near mall.

The biggest highlight of this trip was definitely this guesthouse! The location is unbeatable – tucked away in a quiet alley, offering peace and tranquility, yet just a pleasant 5-minute walk to the north gate of Shuhe, making it incredibly convenient for getting around by taxi. On the afternoon of my arrival, the sunlight streaming through the leaves into the glass house was absolutely breathtaking, truly a sight to behold. A white cat rubbed against me, and the guesthouse even puts peanuts on the outdoor tables, so if you're lucky, you might spot some sneaky squirrels. What I want to praise most are the staff. They added me on WeChat beforehand and recommended some great activities. Everyone seemed genuinely passionate about their work. They even gave me a tour of their meticulously cultivated herb garden, and the salads made with their freshly picked, home-grown vegetables truly lived up to their reputation. Since it's an old house, I didn't have high expectations for the room, but the bathroom was impressively clean, and the amenities were excellent. The only minor drawback is that the bathroom door doesn't seal perfectly, so after a long shower, a small puddle of water would form near the sink area. However, it didn't affect the bedroom area, and it was cleaned thoroughly every morning.

Because we went there during the May Day holiday, we booked two rooms. When booking, we requested a high floor. When we arrived, they said there were no high floors. When we asked when the rooms would be cleaned, they said they were not sure. I felt that the service was a little inadequate in this regard, but otherwise I was very satisfied. Both the Chinese and Western food were good. Recommended!

This was probably the best hotel I stayed in Yunnan so far. To start, the room was incredibly clean, new, spacious, and most importantly comfortable, the bed was comfortable and clean when I got there. On top of this, the amenities within the room are amazing, AI assisted curtain and light activation, strong and fast AC system. The bathroom was huge and had individual rooms for the shower and toilet. The shower area had everything needed and was very spacious. Tons of kits for shaving, vanity, and all that you would need for a hotel stay. Even more, there was an air purifier and majiang table. If you order delivery there is a robot that sends the food to your room. Staff were very friendly and dependable, gifts were given during leaving, there was also a free breakfast and bridge crossing rice noodle kit that you could order anytime, very tasty! Lastly, and also very important for travelers, the location is superb, being situated close to the city center and only a 15 minute drive from the train station and opposite side of town. Very convenient!! The area is also quiet and relatively clean.

This was my first time in Xishuangbanna, and I didn't have high expectations for a 500-yuan hotel near the scenic area. However, my stay far exceeded them. Upon check-in, the front desk immediately provided sunscreen, a children's toothbrush, and mosquito repellent, which was very thoughtful. The room type was very comfortable; it was quite spacious for a hotel within the scenic area. The bathroom had a wet/dry separation, and the bedding and decor were also excellent, making it perfect for families with children. What exceeded my expectations the most were the hotel's amenities. The infinity pool was stunning, and there were two kids' play areas, one on the 1st floor and one on the 7th. From the 7th-floor rooftop, you could see the Big Golden Pagoda Temple and a corner of the Starlight Night Market (Pic 2). There was also free KTV and complimentary Sprite and snacks for guests. The service was, of course, also fantastic. We had airport pick-up by business car, free fruit every afternoon, and the housekeeper would contact us to confirm before each room cleaning. This hotel will definitely be my top choice for future visits to Xishuangbanna. Finally, a suggestion: it would be even better if the hotel restaurant could offer baby meal takeout boxes or room service for baby meals. One morning, my baby didn't eat much in the restaurant, but they didn't provide meal boxes or food bags. I had to wrap a few sweet potatoes or corn in tissues to take back to the room to feed the baby, which was a bit inconvenient.

Pros: The hotel has a rich history and has hosted many famous people. The decor is luxurious and beautifully designed. The location is excellent, right by Cuihu Lake. Upon check-in, the front desk upgraded us to a higher floor room (though they didn't mention why proactively). They also provided a sweet soup before bed. Upon check-out, Mr. Wang gave us a farewell gift (yogurt and candy). Cons: For a luxury five-star hotel, the service falls short. The complimentary snack jar in the room had packaging left by the previous guest, which hadn't been cleaned. During breakfast peak hours, it was crowded, but no one was there to help guests find a table. As for facilities, those who prefer showering have to do so in the bathtub, which isn't ideal for elderly guests or children.

My stay at the Hyatt Regency Lijiang left a deep impression on me! The hotel is located near Shuhe Ancient Town, allowing guests to experience the unique charm of Naxi culture while enjoying modern luxury and comfort. The lobby design seamlessly blends traditional Dongba elements with contemporary art, immersing you in a rich ethnic atmosphere the moment you step inside. The rooms are spacious and elegant, with wooden furniture and ethnic embroidery complementing each other perfectly, offering superb views. The service was consistently warm; the front desk attendant, Christina, even gave us a small gift upon checkout. The hotel's Chinese restaurant serves authentic Yunnan cuisine, and the breakfast buffet is extensive, featuring various Lijiang local specialties. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I highly recommend it to travelers seeking quality!

The hotel is in a great location, very close to the subway station, which makes getting around super convenient. The room we booked this time was spacious and comfortable. This hotel is absolutely stunning! The service, facilities, and cleanliness are all excellent, truly top-notch. The shower pressure was fantastic, making for a very comfortable experience. The breakfast spread was extensive, featuring local specialties, and they patiently explained how to enjoy them. You absolutely must try the local specialty rice noodles, and the honey even comes with a honeycomb – simply amazing! The decor is exceptionally beautiful, elegant, and tasteful. The owner even upgraded our room and gave us a gift of tangerines, which we really appreciate! Our room offered beautiful night views. Plus, they're pet-friendly! I highly recommend everyone to come and experience it for yourselves!

Ccathay wuThe hotel's overall scenery is beautiful, but as an older Banyan Tree property, the ongoing management and maintenance feel a bit average. Many of the facilities give a dated impression, and the breakfast, in particular, was a letdown. However, the dinner restaurant deserves high praise; we ate there for three consecutive days, and the food was consistently excellent. The Banyan Tree spa experience didn't quite meet expectations, but my feedback was received positively by the spa center. We booked two rooms, and one was upgraded to a mountain view room. The mountain view room definitely had better light and views compared to the courtyard room. Overall, the hotel staff were very friendly and most of our requests were met. However, the butler service felt pointless; I think the experience would be better without it.

GGuest UserA very warm treasure hotel. Our family received souvenirs and welcome tea as soon as we arrived at the hotel, which was very ceremonial. Because there were not many tourists, the hotel seemed particularly secluded. Whether it was the private soup in the courtyard or the Pu'er tea, they were all of very high quality. The children enjoyed feeding the seagulls every day. The food was a little simple during the Spring Festival. A male waiter in the restaurant (forgot his name) was very enthusiastic. The green vegetables were all from the hotel's own vegetable garden, which was very natural. The back door of the hotel leads directly to Yangzonghai Shijiazui Park, and the scenery is invincible. In short, I was very satisfied. Thanks to the housekeeper for his meticulous service. Five-star praise. Recommended to travelers who like to relax and get close to nature.

MM251611****Pullman Kunming Jingfang: Unexpected room upgrade, super pleasant surprise, and stunning lake views that were incredibly soothing! 📍Location & Overall Experience: The hotel's location is super convenient, making it easy to explore the city or visit nearby attractions. The lobby is elegantly decorated, and the fresh, pleasant scent immediately put me at ease, washing away all travel fatigue – the ambiance was just perfect! 🛏️Room & Hygiene: I booked a Superior King Room, but during check-in, the front desk agent, Judi, pleasantly surprised me with a complimentary upgrade to a Deluxe Lake View Room! The moment I opened the door, I was stunned. The huge floor-to-ceiling windows offered an unobstructed view of Erhai Lake, with its sparkling waters spread out before me. During the day, I watched the clouds drift by, and at night, I admired the starry sky – it was incredibly therapeutic. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, with not a speck of dust in any corner. The bedding was soft and comfortable against the skin, and the double-pane soundproof windows blocked out all external noise, ensuring a perfect night's sleep. The nightly turndown service was particularly thoughtful; staff carefully turned down the covers, placed slippers by the bed, and provided bottled water and a night light on the bedside table – truly attentive to every detail. When I needed a sewing kit in the middle of my stay, room service delivered it quickly, completely resolving my urgent need. 💁Service Highlights: I have to specifically commend Judi at the front desk! She made the check-in process efficient and fast, and proactively upgraded my room. She patiently introduced the hotel facilities and gave me tips for exploring Kunming. She meticulously answered all my numerous questions with enthusiasm and professionalism. From the moment the staff helped with my luggage upon arrival to the polite greetings from all service personnel throughout my stay, I felt a warm sense of being truly at home, and their service response time was incredibly fast. 🍽️Dining & Facilities: The breakfast spread was incredibly rich, covering both Chinese and Western options. There were authentic Yunnan snacks, fresh fruits and vegetables, made-to-order noodle stations, and exquisite desserts, all made with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors, satisfying a variety of tastes. During my leisure time, I experienced the hotel's spa service. The environment was serene and elegant, and the therapist's techniques were professional, thoroughly relieving my travel fatigue and leaving both my body and mind relaxed. The hardware facilities and service quality are impeccable, making it perfect for both leisure travel and business trips. I've already recommended it to my friends, and I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Kunming!

KKenny GTReview of Bantang·White House, Lijiang Bantang·White House in Lijiang is nothing short of exceptional, offering a level of service and hospitality that sets a new standard for luxury accommodations. From the moment we planned our arrival, the staff’s proactive approach was evident. Even before we reached the hotel, they reached out to inquire if we needed assistance traveling from Dali, showcasing their commitment to guest comfort. Upon arrival, we encountered an issue with paying our driver, but the hotel staff and manager stepped in personally to resolve it, ensuring the driver was paid and allowing us to settle with the hotel directly. This kind of hands-on, problem-solving service was truly remarkable and reflective of their par-excellence standards. The hotel itself is a masterpiece of thoughtful design and customer care. The room amenities were top-notch, meticulously curated to enhance the guest experience, demonstrating the management’s attention to detail. The floor-to-ceiling windows in our room offered breathtaking views of Dragon Lake reflecting the majestic Snow Dragon Mountain, with the serene surrounding nature elevating the experience to another level. Even our bathtub provided a stunning view, adding a touch of luxury and tranquility to our stay. Every staff member was courteous, professional, and eager to assist, whether it was arranging local excursions, recommending dinners and restaurants, booking spa sessions, or scheduling a photoshoot. Their coordination and professionalism were next-level, making every moment of our stay seamless and enjoyable. Despite the language barrier, as I don’t speak Chinese, the staff bridged this gap effortlessly, ensuring clear communication and making us feel completely at ease. This level of care and coordination is rare and deserves high praise. Our time at Bantang·White House was, without a doubt, one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lijiang. Kudos to the entire team for their outstanding work—thank you for making our stay unforgettable!

AAngelina0527The room was very clean, though the toilet wasn't a smart one. The entire hotel was very quiet, and the public areas were well-maintained with good greenery. I didn't get to use the gym or pool. There's a direct gate from the hotel to the ancient city, which is very convenient. The washbasin was a bit small, making it a tight squeeze for women to put their skincare products. The bathroom lighting wasn't sufficient, and the makeup mirror was too dim. If you're trying to do your makeup, it's really hard to see clearly. This is something I suggest they improve. Breakfast was quite rich, and there weren't many people since it was the off-season. The service was proactive and friendly, meeting my expectations. Overall, if you're visiting Dayan Ancient City, I highly recommend staying here.

XXingbakedeheikafeiThis time I was traveling solo, and a friend had previously recommended that if I ever went to Shangri-La or on the way to Tibet, I absolutely had to check out the Songtsam series of hotels. So, I took the opportunity to visit Shangri-La and unhesitatingly chose the Songtsam Linka Hotel. My overall impression was exceptionally good, exceeding my expectations, mainly in terms of the facilities. From the hotel's overall design to the in-room amenities, everything was spot-on. The rooms have diffused oxygen, heated floors which made them very warm, and all the furniture is solid wood, giving it a very substantial, rustic feel. It's a pure ******* style. The bathroom vanity, sink, and faucets are all made of brass, and I was told by the hotel staff that these are crafted by their own copper artisans. The hotel also has an Arcteryx store and a Norlha store. In the evenings, an astronomy teacher can even guide you in stargazing. Every night, the hotel thoughtfully delivers a cup of tremella soup in a thermos, placed in your room – a truly considerate touch. Because the hotel is very close to Songtsam Linka Monastery, a very professional butler leads guests from the back entrance of the monastery every morning at 8:55 for a comprehensive tour, and their explanations are excellent. These were all aspects that left me feeling particularly impressed and offered a unique experience. The hotel also sells its own local products, such as their ceramic ware, brass items, thangkas, and even some art pieces collected by Master Baima himself, all displayed and sold in different shops. It's well worth a visit to learn about ******* culture. The only minor drawback is that the service awareness of the hotel staff, when compared to international chain hotels, still has some room for improvement, but overall, it's definitely worth recommending.

GGukeqiaodaifuCompared to Sanya, Lijiang falls short for family-friendly travel, still primarily catering to a younger demographic. The Dream Butterfly Manor is no exception, but this hotel still managed to create a poetic and tranquil living experience. The scenery is beautiful, offering distant views of the snow-capped Cangshan mountains and the Three Pagodas. The breakfast even included rose petals, and the service attitude was exceptional. The young man who greeted us upon check-in was very enthusiastic, and when we checked out, the tall lady at the front desk stood at the door for a long time, waving us goodbye. I haven't stayed in top-tier luxury hotels, but I haven't encountered such service in the many years I've stayed in five-star hotels across the country. All in all, this is the most satisfying hotel I've stayed in, and I will definitely come back for a longer stay next time.
