A great weekend!!
Caught up with Mother's Day, I took my mother to rest for a day. I felt super relaxed from the moment I entered the hotel. The environment is beautiful and the green vegetation covers a large area. Before check-in, Miss Niki (?) contacted and arranged a room upgrade. I am super grateful🥹You can see the jacaranda and blue sky outside from the balcony and feel the wind.
The quality of the double breakfast and lunch rice noodle set in the set is absolutely impeccable. There are various snacks. You can try all kinds of small bowls. Paoruda is the best😋The lemon and sour spicy chicken feet in the set are super delicious. I also went to the Chinese restaurant to take a portion home before leaving.
Thanks to every staff member I met, including but not limited to Brother Cai Liping at the front desk, Brother Gu Dezhong in the Western restaurant, and a small but energetic lady in the Chinese restaurant (I met her at noon on 5.9/10). I hope I didn’t write everyone’s name wrong🙈
See you next time! ! Definitely come again!

1. The hotel's overall design style is quite unique, featuring a large garden 🪴🌳🪻🌷 with excellent lighting and beautiful plants. There are also many cats 🐈⬛🐕🦺🐈, and the owner is very friendly, happy for guests to interact with the kittens.
2. The rooms are generally clean, and the furniture is distinctive, mostly antique wooden pieces. The toiletries have a normal, pleasant scent and are of decent quality 🧴.
3. For service, I have to give 🔟 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐😊.
The lobby service is available until 12:30 AM, and they'll even bring your takeout deliveries to your room.
A hidden service is that the butler can mix cocktails for you 🥃 (P.S. He said he hadn't made one in a long time and took a while to find the alcohol, but it wasn't expensive. 😁 The butler is also very engaging to chat with and enthusiastically recommended local attractions).
The complimentary evening sweet soup is also delicious 🍵, and the local service aunties warmly deliver it to your room. The auntie was truly wonderful, enthusiastically helping to wash and dry my clothes before placing them in the room 👖👔. Everyone in the WeChat butler group is very friendly and polite 🧑🤝🧑, and they also provide useful tips about the weather and travel routes 🦯️🌤.
Breakfast is very generous 🍞🍳🍜🏻🥛🥣; you can choose from a menu, and they'll deliver it to your room on time (actually, eating in the downstairs restaurant would probably be a lovely experience too, but I'm a bit lazy, so I opted for in-room breakfast 😆). They also enthusiastically help with luggage 🧳.
The Dali milk at breakfast is exceptionally good!
Overall, it's a fantastic B&B hotel, and I'll definitely be back~

The Grand Hyatt Jinmao Resort Lijiang is a truly secluded retreat, nestled amidst serene mountains and rivers, far from the madding crowd. The rooms feel much more substantial than those at some trendy influencer spots. They are spacious and bright, and despite being a bit older, they are well-maintained. The bedding is comfortable, and you can even enjoy mountain views while soaking in the tub. Bella provided warm and attentive service, making me feel right at home. The breakfast spread was extensive, with delicious made-to-order rice noodles and flower cakes. There are also a variety of free activities, making it a great choice if you're traveling with kids, and it's very picturesque for photos. I came alone for a retreat this time, and the Chinese restaurant was very accommodating, preparing half-portions so I could try more dishes. The location is convenient, and overall, it's a perfect experience. This established five-star hotel is a sure bet – you can't go wrong!

The team members are exceptional in their effectiveness and courtesy, thanks to their excellent services. Their remarkable ability to engage with visitors and make us feel welcome. The whole environment is beautiful, reception plus the dinning area has a cosy reading area. Bivou also provides lots of activities. In the morning sitting outside the cafe enjoying your coffee and watching the squirrels running around is such an enjoyable moment! Excellent accommodation!

The rooms have an old-fashioned, 'cadre' style, but the outdoor environment is truly beautiful. The hotel even has swans and squirrels that you can feed. The hot spring is also very good. The service is nice, and breakfast is plentiful. If it weren't for the high price of a five-star hotel, I'd love to come and stay here for the winter.
Unlimited single-person access to the Lake Spring Mid-Mountain Hot Spring, open from 9 AM to 11:30 PM, very comfortable.
Service: Free shuttle bus service within the resort to and from the restaurant and hot spring.
I came for the seagulls, and Kunming surprised me, starting with this hotel. I chose it because it's close to the old town, new, and includes breakfast. When I arrived, I considered changing rooms or even hotels due to the street noise, but the front desk arranged a high-floor room. It was late January, so I needed the AC on at night, and to my surprise, I couldn't hear any street noise at all. Plus, a popular BBQ spot next to the hotel was a pleasant surprise, so I promptly extended my stay for three more days.

This hotel is a favorite even among old Kunming locals! It's just across the road from Cuihu Lake. The service is excellent, and during the Spring Festival, the hotel had lots of festive decorations and activities like drawing red envelopes, rubbings, and sugar painting! When we checked out, they even gave us a souvenir – I especially loved the cute little custom-made seagull doll.
Oh, and for breakfast, I highly recommend the chicken rice noodles and the 'xi dou fen' (pea powder soup) with fried dough sticks. Both are Yunnan specialties, and even if you can't handle spice, you'll enjoy them!

My stay on the 19th floor of the Chenji Dianzhong Hotel exceeded all expectations and I highly recommend it! The bedroom design was a pleasant surprise – the bed was incredibly spacious, soft, and comfortable. The floor-to-ceiling windows made the entire room bright and airy, offering stunning high-altitude views of Kunming during the day, and a peaceful, romantic cityscape at night. The most delightful surprise was the standalone bathtub placed right next to the bed. I could relax in the tub while gazing out of the panoramic windows, creating a truly atmospheric experience. The bathroom's wet and dry areas were well-separated, making it convenient and tidy. The room also featured a sofa and a small table, perfect for relaxing, reading, a bit of work, or even dining. The overall layout was well-designed, with thoughtful details evident throughout. This was a thoroughly enjoyable stay; both the facilities and comfort levels were excellent. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Kunming! (Oops, I forgot to take pictures during check-in, these were taken after I checked out, so it's a bit messy.)

I forgot my charger after checking out and only realized it when I was already in the taxi. I called the front desk, and a staff member named Luna quickly ran out to my car with it, even putting it in a small bag for me. Her figure, weaving through traffic, was the most vivid interpretation of 'service first.'

This hotel exceeded our expectations! It's right on Erhai Lake with amazing views, especially from the executive lounge – it blows all the coffee shops outside out of the water. The happy hour in the evening, while a set menu, was delicious – light, tasty, and substantial enough to be a full dinner. The spa in the executive room was also noteworthy; the massage was very thorough. Our butler, King, provided excellent service, always accommodating our requests. We stayed for two nights, and the service was fantastic from airport pickup to drop-off. When we couldn't make it to the executive lounge for dinner one night, they even packed it up and brought it to our room for us. I haven't encountered such a dedicated butler in a long time – he deserves a huge compliment! The drivers for the hotel's airport shuttle service were also very responsible. The 1799 executive package was definitely worth it. I highly recommend it to everyone!

GGuest UserAmbiance: Tranquil and secluded, a unique Chinese aesthetic. The entire room was filled with the scent of aromatherapy incense, which was incredibly refreshing. I loved the citronella essential oil and bought over 1000 yuan worth, getting a 30% discount – quite a good deal.
Facilities: The open-air heated massage private onsen was fantastic. The room directly faced the 'Golden Mountain in Sunlight' view.
Service: Our butler, Luna, provided excellent service. She helped us book a photography session in advance, arranged our room, including housekeeping, answered all our questions, booked our airport transfer, and took care of little things like the 'Little Turtle' welcome gift and bottled water. Highly recommend! The turndown service was particularly special: on the first night, we had a rose milk foot bath in a copper basin, and on the second night, it was a coarse salt foot bath in a copper basin. Breakfast was also good and came with a scenic view.
One-way airport transfer between the hotel and Lijiang Sanyi Airport: The airport drop-off service was good.
One complimentary ethnic costume photography session (requires booking at least 1 day in advance): I had already taken photos in ******* and Yi costumes a few days prior, so here I tried on Miao ethnic clothing, which was another great experience of local culture. I didn't add any extra photos beyond the included five.
Seasonal welcome fruit: We received small fruit baskets on both days. In the evening, there were fresh juices and small cakes – red pitaya juice and orange juice. There was also a large cake in the fridge!
GGuest UserI booked for two days as a solo traveler. The room was very spacious, and having an elevator made it much more convenient than staying inside the old town. My main activity was hiking, which meant my clothes would get sweaty and dusty. The hotel having a washer-dryer combo was incredibly convenient for this, but unfortunately, it suddenly stopped drying on the second day, which was a real shame. The room was well-equipped, though some amenities had minor imperfections. For example, the Xiao Ai smart speaker wasn't connected to the internet, so its smart functions couldn't be used; the hotel might need to ensure it's properly connected. Overall, at this price point, it's an excellent choice. I'd definitely come back again.
BBingbingle、The room was very spacious and well-equipped.
The decor and design were fantastic. The renovation of the historic building is quite unique, and the courtyard is breathtaking.
The housekeeping service was excellent, and any requests were promptly addressed.
The breakfast was also delicious, featuring some unique dishes.
I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Yunnan.
SShuijingxieI took my kids out for a vacation on May Day. The experience was five-star praise, and the service was very good. The environment was garden-style and very comfortable! The restaurant has a complete range of delicious dishes, and there is also a book bar and hot springs. A SPA was also given. It was a very good experience and I will come again if I have the chance. I will also recommend it to friends.
Afternoon tea experience: nice
Airport pick-up service: The driver and the master provided good service, and the business car was also very comfortable

AAnonymous UserBefore my trip, I added them on WeChat, and they introduced the hotel and rooms. They even upgraded us and offered a complimentary second person's essential oil back massage! 👍 Once we got to the room, it was just as amazing as advertised. Lying in bed, we could enjoy stunning snow-capped mountain views and stargaze at night. The room was well-equipped with all the amenities, thoughtfully provided down to the smallest detail, which was truly touching. The hotel offers an unlimited breakfast (perfect for those who aren't sure when they'll wake up), afternoon tea, late-night snacks, and a bedtime dessert. The ladies at the hotel were all warm, polite, and responsive, always surprising us with little touches. I hope the breakfast variety can be expanded on my next visit.
GGuest UserReally loved the style of this hotel, the courtyard is beautiful – just strolling around it was a pleasure in itself. Our housekeeper, Miya, was wonderful! Even with a hoarse voice, she patiently gave us travel tips, which we really appreciated! It's a bit of a shame, our child got altitude sickness coming down from the plateau, so our plans changed, and we didn't get to do the complimentary photoshoot offered by the hotel. This courtyard would have been perfect for photos! Miya's suggestion to switch to a smaller suite was definitely the right call – it was spacious and comfortable.
MM23673****Our stay at Songtsam Linka was truly wonderful, with the biggest surprises being the hotel's Thangka museum and the exclusive guided tour of Songtsam Monastery. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable, not only meticulously explaining the craftsmanship and culture of Thangka art but also leading us on a deep dive into the historical origins and architectural features of Songtsam Monastery. We were even lucky enough to witness monks attending class, offering an immersive experience of the solemnity and profundity of ******* culture.
While the hotel's facilities aren't exceptionally luxurious, they are clean and comfortable, blending perfectly with the surrounding natural and cultural environment. What truly leaves a lasting impression is its rich cultural essence, seamlessly combining accommodation with a profound cultural experience, making it a rare and unforgettable cultural journey.

MMeiyimiandoumeiThe rooms are spacious, with each building having two floors. The first floor features a king-size bed and a small courtyard, while the second floor offers twin beds. The resident manager is a foreigner who speaks fluent English with an accent, and he's very kind. The breakfast is quite good; while it can't compare to a five-star hotel, it's definitely above average for hotels of a similar size. The hotel's courtyard landscaping is a real highlight – complete with small bridges and flowing water, beautifully arranged. I wasn't expecting that at all. When I booked, I thought it was just a regular guesthouse, but I was genuinely impressed when I saw the landscaping. I also have to mention the staff; their service is comparable to a five-star hotel. They helped us with our luggage both ways, greeted us warmly, and even explained the room facilities upon arrival. Since we booked a twin room on the second floor, an older gentleman, looking quite senior, helped us carry our bags up without even breaking a sweat – truly impressive! When we checked out, two staff members accompanied us to the hotel entrance, helped load our luggage into the car, and then gave us directions to our next attraction. They even thoughtfully prepared some small snacks and waved us off as we left, which made us feel incredibly pampered. The hotel is very close to the North Gate of Dali Ancient City, just a 5-minute walk. From the hotel, you can see the three white pagodas of the Chongsheng Temple, Dali's only 5A-rated scenic spot, which is only a 5-minute drive away. The only minor inconvenience is that you need to call a taxi a bit in advance. My husband and I both used two different apps on our phones, and it took about 15 minutes for a driver to accept the ride.
