Location: Excellent! Just 400 meters from the Naha Kūkō Station west exit. There's a FamilyMart convenience store right downstairs, and the amazing SAN-A mall is next door. Okinawa DFS is also directly behind the hotel. Facilities: On the first floor, there's a free coffee machine and free manga for rent. Downside: There's no smoking area either at the hotel entrance or inside the hotel itself. The designated smoking area is located in the hotel's parking lot.

Fantastic hotel. None of us, especially the kids, wants to leave the hotel at check-out. They upgrade my room from level 6 to 9 premium club. It paid off to stay in an ocean facing room. The room is clean and well maintained. Although this is not a new hotel (where lifts require cardkey) the rooms locks are cardkey based. Bed is a bit hard for me, but were just as hard for the other hotels i stayed there :^_^:. The breakfast spread is wide and tasty. The restaurant can get crowded over weekend (but you can still managed to find a seat). The beach lagoon is shallow and water is super clean and calm. There are big malls/outlet, restaurants and super markets within 5~10 min drive. It's around 20min drive to popular attractions like Okinawa world, Gandala valley, Chinen Park, Peace memorials, etc. There is also free performance at 6pm on Fri/Sat evening, which IMO is better than those at theme parks. The hotel gives 10% coupon for outlet and Iias mall (remember to use). Note parking is still charged, at 550y per night, which seems to be standard for resort hotels in Okinawan (?)

The hotel is in a great location, just a 5-minute walk from the monorail. It's very convenient for visiting Naminoue Shrine, the Prefectural Office, and Kokusai Street, yet it's still relatively quiet. The breakfast spread is amazing, with a good variety of Japanese specialties and foods, and they offer extended serving hours, which is a huge plus. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and getting around is easy. Definitely recommended! They also offer complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby lounge area.

Friendly staff. Good location in about the middle of the island with free parking. Clean and spacious with many plugs. Family mart down stairs. Negatives are: gecko in the room, no bottled water, pillow with very little stuffing makes you feel like sleeping without a pillow. Cleaning is every 3 days and only if you put a sign up for it. Bathroom is typically small as Japanese standard, which is a loss because they could've made the room larger by merging the ”changing” room with the bathroom.

This was an absolutely flawless experience! Taking a WeChat Uber from the airport was very affordable, and the entire check-in process was incredibly smooth. For this price point, the experience was truly satisfying. The hotel environment is also fantastic; it's no wonder it's on Asia's list of best sea-view hotels. The service is excellent; they're always responsive. Every time I called housekeeping, they arrived within five minutes. The only minor issue is that transportation isn't the most convenient, but this hotel is really for enjoying the facilities and the beautiful views. There's a bus from the hotel's parking lot that goes to the city for dining and to Naha Airport, and Uber rides are quite quick to arrange as well.

The reason to go to this hotel is because it is extremely convenient and has a great view. We came here last year, but it was cheaper last year. We were surprised to learn that the car parking is now something you have to pay, which wasn't the case last year. Seems like a very cheap decision on their part considering the hotel is already pretty expensive. Also be prepared, the room will not be the newest or cleanest. It had a bit of mold on the wall around the AC unit, and the walls needed to be repainted and fixed on some parts.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, especially because of the spa facilities. The spa includes a sauna, a pool, an onsen, a cold bath, showers, and everything is very clean and well-maintained. A special mention goes to the fact that the spa is tattoo-friendly for both men and women. I have three medium-sized tattoos on my arms and saw other women who were even more tattooed than me — it was never an issue. I double-checked at the front desk, and they confirmed that tattoos are accepted. I'm highlighting this because I saw some other reviews saying the spa wasn't tattoo-friendly, but that was not my experience at all. The only downside I found is that the rooms are a bit noisy — you can easily hear what's going on in the hallways throughout the day, which is unfortunate. Also, the hotel is not exactly close to the city center; it's about a 15–20 minute walk. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for the spa! Oh, and the bathrooms are nice haha!

I took bus 143 from Naha Bus Terminal to the American Village (it was the last stop for this bus, not sure where the actual last stop is) and walked for about 10 minutes to reach the hotel. Since it was before check-in time, I waited in the lobby, where complimentary drinks and cookies were available. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and helped us store our luggage first; the service was excellent. After checking in, we were given an upgraded room, much larger than what we had booked, which was fantastic! American Village at night is beautiful and definitely worth staying for a night.

🏨 EM Healthy Fermented Lifestyle Resort Review My stay at the EM Healthy Fermented Lifestyle Resort was generally clean and well-equipped. The front desk staff were polite, and although their English was limited, basic communication was manageable. However, as a mother traveling with a two-year-old, this experience left me extremely disappointed and uneasy. We returned to the hotel close to 10 pm that evening, and my child, tired from the journey, became irritable and cried for about 8 to 10 minutes. While I was trying to soothe him, there was a knock on the door, and a note was left outside that read: ”If you cannot control your child's crying, you should not stay at this hotel.” This handling of the situation shocked me. It's perfectly natural for children to cry occasionally in unfamiliar environments, and hotels, as spaces that accommodate all kinds of travelers, should have basic understanding and tolerance. This note not only lacked empathy but also conveyed a sense of rejection and blame. For families with young children, this accommodation was unfriendly and not a good choice to stay again. 👶 If you are a family traveling with a young child, I suggest you carefully consider whether to stay at this hotel. The journey is already difficult enough; what we need more is understanding and support, not indifference and blame.

The advantage is that the rooms are very spacious, but you have to book a more expensive room type. The balcony view is fantastic, you can watch the sunset. Although it's a port, the water features and swimming pools below the commercial building are lit up at night, which actually looks pretty good. There's a convenience store right next to the lobby, which is very handy. The hot spring is nice, they gave us tickets, though the pools aren't particularly large. The downside is that the location is a 15-minute walk from the light rail, but it's close to the beach. Housekeeping is every two days; if you want it daily, you have to pay, but they do provide two days' worth of amenities and water, so it's not a big deal. Breakfast was awful, the quality was subpar, and the restaurant looked two grades below the hotel itself. There are also quite a few tour groups at this hotel because many Japanese people stay here for the hot springs. The front desk staff's English was terrible; I couldn't understand their 'curry accent,' I think they were Nepalese.

Unexpectedly Perfect Stay at Southwest Grand Hotel! 🌟 We stumbled upon Southwest Grand Hotel due to a last-minute flight change, and what a blessing in disguise it turned out to be! Our extra day in Okinawa became one of the most memorable parts of our trip—all thanks to this incredible hotel. 🛏️ Stylish & Photogenic Rooms The room was modern, chic, and absolutely Instagram-worthy. I even turned it into a mini photo studio and captured some beautiful family portraits of my wife and our 3-month-old baby. My wife was over the moon with the results! 🍳 Breakfast That Delights Every Palate The breakfast spread was phenomenal—offering both Western and Japanese options, all bursting with flavor. The cheese selection and homemade yogurt with honey were standouts. Don’t miss them! 📍 Prime Location Just a minute’s walk from Kokusai-dori (国際通り), the hotel is perfectly located for last-minute shopping or grabbing essentials. Super convenient and central! 🍽️ Vibrant Evenings As the nearby streets settle into a peaceful hush and most restaurants wind down with only a handful of diners, the lobby restaurants at Southwest Grand Hotel remain buzzing with energy. The lively atmosphere, filled with cheerful faces and clinking glasses, speaks volumes about the quality and charm of the hotel’s dining experience. 💭 Still Dreaming About It Overall, our experience at Southwest Grand Hotel was truly delightful. Even now—almost a month later—I can still recall every moment with vivid clarity. If it weren’t for the limited parking, I’d confidently call it Michelin-worthy! This hotel is an absolute hidden gem, and without a doubt, I’ll be staying here again on our next visit to Okinawa!

Very beautiful hotel with nice interior. Everything is very clean and rooms are spacious and beds are big and comfortable. The hotel beach and pool looks very beautiful and and dreamlike. Hotel food is also very delicious but around the hotel are enough restaurants and izakayas with good food too. Definetly recommend!

Heartfelt Hospitality in Hoshinoya Okinawa ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hoshinoya has long been renowned for its impeccable service, and my recent visit was yet another shining example of that legacy. The hospitality extended by every member of the staff was not just excellent—it was extraordinary. Their warmth and attentiveness are what truly set Hoshinoya apart. Although my tight travel schedule only allowed for a one-night stay, and I sadly missed out on the many indigenous activities the front desk staff enthusiastically recommended, the experience was still deeply fulfilling. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the breathtaking scenery. Watching the sunset from my room was pure serenity—I could have sat there for hours, soaking in the view without ever growing tired. But what truly touched me was the care shown to my family, especially our 3-month-old infant. Before our arrival, I had informed the hotel via email that we’d be traveling with our baby. To our amazement, they had not only prepared a cozy cot but also thoughtfully provided all the cleaning essentials for baby bottles. It was a level of consideration that far exceeded our expectations—something we’ve never encountered at any other hotel. One moment that remains vivid in my memory was when a staff member, herself a mother, kindly helped us carry our stroller and luggage up to our second-floor room. Later that evening, while dining at Bellezza—the hotel’s exquisite fine-dining restaurant—our baby fell asleep, and the staff graciously brought out a cradle so he could rest comfortably. I was genuinely moved. What other fine-dining restaurant would offer such heartfelt service? Bellezza, without a doubt, stands alone. 🌟 In the end, what made our stay so memorable wasn’t just the stunning views or luxurious amenities—it was the exceptional professionalism and genuine kindness of the staff. They made our brief visit feel like a homecoming, and for that, I am truly grateful!

Hello everyone! We stayed at Rizzan Sea-Park Hotel Tancha Bay from October 3rd to 10th, 2025. The hotel’s location is convenient — not right next to the main attractions, but getting there from Naha Airport is easy. There’s a direct airport bus that takes about an hour and a half and stops right at the hotel entrance. When we checked in, we were first given a room on a lower floor, even though we had asked for a higher one when booking. The next day, the staff kindly moved us — really great service and attention to detail. We chose the half-board option (breakfast and dinner). The food was excellent — tasty, diverse, and offered in several themed areas: European, Japanese, Chinese, and Okinawan. Besides the main restaurant, there are plenty of other places to eat on-site — a BBQ area, Japanese izakaya, dessert buffet, and a cozy traditional café. The beach is small but very clean, with lifeguards always on duty. Sunbeds and umbrellas can be rented for a small fee, and towels are available for free with hotel coupons. The hotel itself wasn’t crowded, which made it peaceful and relaxing. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. Some parts of the interior look a bit dated, but that’s easily balanced by the stunning ocean views, fair pricing, and overall comfort. All in all, this hotel is a great choice for anyone looking for a calm, relaxing getaway surrounded by beautiful scenery. Highly recommend! 🌸

This particular stay at LeQu Okinawa Chatan Spa & Resort became a genuinely memorable experience for one defining reason: Ms. Jacob at the front desk. Without her presence, this would have been a comfortable and well-designed hotel. Because of her, it became something far more meaningful. From the very first interaction, her manner was composed, perceptive, and quietly attentive. There was no sense of routine or obligation in her service—only a sincere awareness of the guest as an individual. Her professionalism was subtle rather than performative, and her warmth felt entirely natural. I have stayed in many hotels across different countries, yet it is rare to encounter a front desk professional whose presence so clearly shapes the emotional tone of an entire stay. In this instance, the quality and value of my experience were defined almost entirely by Ms. Jacob. It is because of this stay—and because of her—that I know I will continue to choose LeQu whenever I return to Okinawa. She embodies a level of hospitality that cannot be reduced to procedure, and her contribution deserves formal recognition. This stay existed as it did because of her.

I booked the Beach House zone with 2 bedrooms and 1 living room, and overall, it was a wonderful stay. The room condition was excellent—very clean, beautiful, and elegantly designed, with a stunning sea view. The facilities were well-equipped, especially the kitchen, which had everything we needed. One minor issue was that at night, when closing the bathroom door, there was a wind noise, so we had to keep the bathroom door open while sleeping. Transportation between the main building and the Beach House was convenient with a golf cart service. Additional costs included a parking fee and a resort fee of 300 yen per person per night. Breakfast around 7:30 AM was quite busy, but I really liked their online queue system, which allowed us to reserve our spot virtually without waiting in front of the restaurant. The resort had three swimming pools. The first pool, located right next to the sea, was disappointing—it was very dirty, with algae at the bottom. Another issue was that the edge of this pool facing the sea was too deep; anyone under 160 cm would not be able to stand, even though it’s the side with the best sunset view. The second pool was located slightly higher up, but we didn’t use it. The third was an indoor pool, which we also didn’t try. Staff service was excellent. They spoke English and Japanese fluently, and some could even communicate in Chinese. Around the hotel, there were also quite a few good restaurants within easy reach, which was very convenient. Overall, I was very impressed with almost everything, except for the cleanliness of the swimming pool.
