This hotel is located near Lake Taupo, offering distant views of the lake. It's also conveniently close to the famous 'plane' McDonald's in town. It's a resort-style hotel with both paid and free parking areas. The single beds, at 0.9 meters wide, are a bit small, but the room itself is quite spacious. I was particularly pleased with the bathroom, which had two sinks, a bathtub, and a shower. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The maple leaves outside the hotel were beautiful, and I even saw a rainbow 🌈.

I stayed here with my mum and brother in a kitchen cabin. The cabin itself was quite basic and very small – fine for one night, but it would feel too cramped for a longer stay. That said, the campsite itself is lovely and the swimming pools were an absolute highlight. We really loved them and would happily stay here again just for the pools alone. Next time, I’d definitely upgrade the accommodation to something more spacious. An on-site café would also be a great addition and would really enhance the overall experience.

Great stay, stayed on two separate occasions. One with a friend and one solo and both really good. Good amount of space with fridge, kettle and microwave and the bathrooms were always really clean and warm! Hot springs were a perfect addition and the discount was really good which made it the cheapest we could find. Would definitely return if i come back.

The hotel was decent overall. The hotel was acceptable for a short stay, but nothing stood out. Some aspects could be improved to make the stay more comfortable.

The room is very big and suitable for family living. The single bed room is very quiet to sleep in. The most beautiful thing is that there is a small yard in the room where you can sit outside to eat breakfast, watch the sunrise, watch the sea, and there are many seabirds flying in front of you. You can also touch the geothermal water when you walk out, and the room can also be directly heated and smoked

Independent cabins, smaller rooms, clean. Kitchens and bathrooms are concentrated in the middle, like a caravan camp. Close to Hot Water Beach, there seems to be no other hotels nearby, you can rent a shovel to dig on the beach

Location, environment and indoor and outdoor facilities are very good. It is very close to my friend's house, and it will be within 5 minutes of walking. After crossing the road, I went to the lake. On the winter morning, there were many black swans on the lakeside, which was very beautiful.

Had a lovely stay at the Turangi Leisure Lodge for a ski holiday, nice, spacious room and good facilities, great for family trip

Charis the host is very friendly very responsive and helpful! It’s a great stay. The sofa bed is too soft and spring, not too good to sleep on. We wanted to cycle for 20 minutes along the lake but it cost $10 for an hour so we decided not to since we don’t have enough time.
