"The Yungang Grottoes are shocking. When you walk into the grottoes, you will be deeply shocked by the huge Buddha statues and exquisite stone carvings. These carvings not only show the exquisite skills of ancient craftsmen, but also contain a rich historical and cultural connotation. At the same time, Yungang Grottoes also give people a sense of peace and tranquility. The Buddha statues are smiling and kind-hearted, as if they can calm your inner irritation and restlessness. Here you can calm down and feel the weight of history and culture, and experience a wonderful feeling of dialogue with ancient civilizations."

"I came to play at night, but I didn't find the Jokhang Temple so wonderful. The road was full of pedestrians, and the surrounding area was full of shops, and it was very convenient to eat next to the old street!"
Hohhot.Dazhao Temple / Saishang old street
    >100km from Baotou
Highlights: Ih Juu Temple in downtown Hohhot was built in the 8th year of the Ming Emperor Wanli (1580) by Altan Khan, the leader of the Mongolian Tümed. The temple belongs to the Gelug (or Yellow) School of Tibetan Buddhism. Priceless cultural relics not to be missed on a visit to Ih Juu Temple include a silver statue of the Buddha Sakyamuni, the dragon columns and the colorful wall murals. The pure silver statue of the Buddha Sakyamuni in the temple’s main hall weighs 1,500kg. Immediately in front of the Buddha Sakyamuni are two golden dragons entwined around the columns, aptly named the Dragon Columns. Because the murals were painted with mineral-based colors, the colors remain bright and vibrant even today. The murals’ content is mostly classical stories from Buddhist scripture.

"Ctrip directly buys a package ticket, takes the ropeway and goes directly to the desert yacht to another island. The place that just came in is nothing fun except the sand. For adults, after going to the second island, go directly to the sandy top to queue up and play, and then all the projects are basically playing all the way down. There are also charges for everyone to consider, drinks 8 yuan a bottle, water 5 yuan, water demand is still quite large, if there are conditions, it is recommended to book a hotel in the scenic area, there is no need to queue up to save time when playing projects, remember to do a good job in flood prevention."

Highlights: Whistling Dune Bay is located in the eastern corner of the Kubuqi Desert. On the lee side of the slope of this expansive desert, it appears to have the form of a crescent moon. When the weather is cool and clear and the sand is dry, visitors can hear a humming sound like that from a drum or bugle emanating from the sand as they slide down it from the peak of the dunes. The sound is louder when multiple guests slide down together, with the whole dune becoming like a giant echo wall. Whistling Dune Bay gets its name from this effect. Exploring the sea of sand by camel is an entirely different sort of experience. There is no feeling like the amazing sensation of riding the “ship of the desert” as it traverses the sands beneath the bright blue sky and white clouds.

"The tourist route and logo of the attractions are recommended to be more perfect. Many tourists don’t know how to go, let alone where they are, but the staff are very enthusiastic. They tell the tourists the details of the tour over and over again, making up for the unpleasantness brought by the scenic operation model."

Highlights: Huitengxile Huanghuagou Pasture Scenic Area is in a winding valley in the west of Huitengxile Pasture. The world-renowned Huanghuagou is a long and deep valley and the site of an ancient glacier. The environment is unique. In summer, it is cool and damp, and the plant coverage is high, with a sea of flowers. Thanks to its blessed atmosphere, several emperors, including Emperor Wu of Han, the Emperor Tabagui of Northern Wei, and the Emperor of Kangxi of Qing, have visited here.

"Tickets 🎫 50, 60 years old and over are free. You can come to Datong Ancient City by swiping your ID card. You must visit Huayan Temple. He is the largest temple in the Daxiong Palace in China. The Buddha statue inside is tall and solemn, and the grandeur cannot be described in words. Every bowl reveals history, every angle is perfect composition. My favorite is the strokes in the temple of the great male, the exquisiteness is beyond words. The main tower in Huayan Temple is now unable to walk in the attic. It should be considered for safety issues and cultural relics protection, but it is still recommended that you bring your shoe cover at the door to the underground to visit the Shelly Tower. The stairs are very steep and must pay attention to safety."

Highlights: Huayan Temple is located in the center of Datong. This temple was built in the 8th year of Liao Qingning Period (AD 1062). In the Daxiong Hall of Huayan Temple, you can see the groundworks of Liao Dynasty and the buildings of Jin Dynasty, as well as the statues of Ming Dynasty and the murals of Qing Dynasty. The Hall of BojiaJiaocang in the temple is the only Liao Dynasty building here. The statues from Liao Dynasty in the Hall are extremely precious. There is a double-storey pavilion-style cabinet behind the Hall of Bojiajiaocang, the upper level is for Buddha statues and Buddhist altars, and the lower layer stores for books.
