The main exhibition area has a total exhibition area of 450,000 square meters, including an indoor exhibition area of 165,000 square meters. It has ten exhibition halls, Solar greenhouse high-yield cultivation area, vegetable museum, leisure farm and outdoor exhibition area. Covering vegetable seedling cultivation, standard production, processing and sales, exhibition exchanges, sightseeing and tourism, research and training, etc., it is a national demonstration base for introducing foreign intellectual achievements, a national agricultural tourism demonstration site, a national popular science education base, and a national 4A-level tourist attraction, Shandong Provincial-level research base for primary and secondary school students. The China (Shouguang) International Vegetable Science and Technology Expo is held from April 20 to May 30 every year. It has been successfully held for 24 times so far, with more than 32 million people from more than 50 countries and regions and 31 provinces, municipalities, autonomous regions and special economic zones participating in the exhibition.
