The most famous Cairns snorkeling depth and the starting point of helicopter activities, the pier is relatively large, docking on the magical Great Barrier Reef, Yinsuo, Sunshine Lovers and other cruise ships, there are many seafood famous Western restaurants, there are also bars, It is very lively until the evening, and you can hear the sound of seagulls and various seabirds. The morning sun shines to make people full of vitality and yearning.

Very good itinerary. The land car driver is very interesting. The price set by Trip.com is cheaper than the on-site. It is highly recommended for this trip. The zoo can observe the koala kangaroo up close and touch it.

We had booked the train/light rail trip for the day. Unfortunately the weather was frightening and it rained all day. We arrived at the Skyrail centre in Smithfield and their bus to Freshwater Station was in good condition. After the train trip, we walked around Kuranda and had lunch at a local cafe. We booked our tickets late in the afternoon to return via Skyrail. Fortunately, they made us return early. The staff was pleasant. The reviews you can download to your phone are great. Unfortunately the weather was so bad we could only see a few meters ahead. Nevertheless, the trip on the treetops was pleasant. At the two stops down, they were all equipped with umbrellas, and the trail was not bad, but the visibility was too bad. If the weather is clear, do it again, it would be great.

As expected, there were creatures in the rainforest in Cairns and aquariums, and the more interesting I looked at it, the more interesting I looked at it. 😂 And the colorful coral was beautiful! (This is a living coral! !! laughter)

Waterfalls

Byron Falls in the Kulanda Rainforest is definitely the most spectacular view of the forest. The waterfalls are step by step from the peak, sparking layers of water. In the rainy time, the water volume is also very large, but also very spectacular, but in the dry water period, there is also a waterfall like a white ribbon hanging in the mountains, especially beautiful.

Port Douglas is a small destination in area only. The Port itself is not that big but provides a vast array of accomodation that would satisfy any budget. Port Douglas is out of the hustle and bustle of the main city of Cairns, but provides all amenities.Indeed, it can accomodate that intimate, quiet time out you have been craving for - or deliver an action packed, adrenalin filled holiday thrill seekers are looking for. Anything in between is catered for as well.We stayed during October, apparently reknowned for its winds. And yes, it was windy, but warm.We went to the Habitat and spent nearly a day eventhough we were Aussies and familiar with a lot of the wildlife it was still an intimate exposure to them and very interesting. We did the touristy thing and went out to the reef - hubby did 3 dives and I snorkelled. The Poseidon catered for each of our needs and gave good individual service. I would have been more nervous with a bigger operator. Our Rainforest tour with Tony's Tours was just great. Only 6 people so we heard everything and never felt like cattle being rustled through. Questions were answered and a lot of information and history was passed on. Loved eating at Port Douglas - (hey, I love eating anywhere!) which probably makes me a conossoir right!?You have to go to the Combined Services Club - as quoted 'million dollar views and nothing over $20.00.'The yacht club is pretty good too. But don't go past the good old pub in the middle of the main drag which served up the best steak and for the cheapest price. That's where the locals still go to eat.Our accomodation was great. We stayed at Freestyle where our hosts were just spot on with local knowledge without being obtrusive at all. Our unit was great and reasonably priced. And we knew that if we needed anything then Anne would be able to assist us.Port Douglas is warm - hot in summer - and you always need your sunscreen and hat!!!And always friendly and fun. Loved it!

A free tour was held from the morning, which was fun and a learning experience! Bird tour is held only on Tuesdays, about 2 hours? I enjoyed it a lot 🦜✨✨ Some people have participated in this tour, and there were regulars 😳
