When Notre Dame Chateau began to rebuild after a fire destroyed the original church in 1194, the Gothic style had matured from the early Romanesque style, after nearly a century of transformation, and the churches that took only 26 years to build were mainly Gothic. Legend has it that the Virgin Mary was a famous pilgrimage site in the Middle Ages, and miracles still exist after 800 years. This cathedral is Gothic with Roman architectural elements, which are spectacular from the front, back, and left, or from a distance. The two towering bell towers are particularly striking in different styles due to the difference in construction age from the second century. The sculpture art of Notre Dame is unparalleled, and the Roman-style Simon and Main Gate are carved by the top craftsmen of the time, with about 4,000 statues on both sides reflecting the evolution of a century of sculpture art. The painted glass is also one of the most prestigious features of the Cathedral of Chartres, where King Henry IV was crowned in 1594 and was included in the World Heritage Site in 1979.

Notre-Dame de Paris meaning "Our Lady of Paris"), referred to simply as Notre-Dame, is a medieval Catholic cathedral on the Île de la Cité (an island in the Seine River), in the 4th arrondissement of Paris, France. The cathedral, dedicated to the Virgin Mary, is considered one of the finest examples of French Gothic architecture. Several attributes set it apart from the earlier Romanesque style, particularly its pioneering use of the rib vault and flying buttress, its enormous and colourful rose windows, and the naturalism and abundance of its sculptural decoration. Notre-Dame also stands out for its three pipe organs (one historic) and its immense church bells.

The memorial hall of the French honorary officer, placed a lot of items, it is best to bring a explainer, otherwise you don't understand, the tomb of the god of war Napoleon next door is better-looking, the popularity is also very high, when you go to catch up with the renovation.

I‘m giving it a 5 star for the vibes on the outside. This building is iconic, it stands at the top of the city looking truly majestic. Sitting on the steps outside there was an abundance of buskers and people. The vibes with the music were just on point! When inside, it was still amazing architecturally, a very beautiful building of course. But the admission ticket was a bit expensive and the gift shop also didn’t feel super authentic. But what would you expect from a major tourist attraction?

Memorial Temples

In the Latin district on the left bank of the Seine in the center of Paris, there is a temple permanently commemorating French historical celebrities - the Pasian Temple. She was originally a church built in the Louis XV era of Saint • Geneva, after being nationalized in 1791, gradually separated from religious color and changed to a cemetery where the secular "great men" were buried, especially with scientists mostly entering the ground, visitors can see many familiar characters in history textbooks. The graves, such as Voltaire, Rousseau, Curie, Hugo, Dumas, and so on. In a sense, the French sages are like the Great Britain's Westminster Cathedral, but she is secular, more scientific and artistic. The spirit of modern France is evident here.

A must see magical experience!Construction began sometime after 1238 and the chapel was consecrated on 26 April 1248.[2] The Sainte-Chapelle is considered among the highest achievements of the Rayonnant period of Gothic architecture. It was commissioned by King Louis IX of France to house his collection of Passion relics, including Christ's Crown of Thorns – one of the most important relics in medieval ChristendomTip: Make sure to buy tickets in advance online to save time waiting in the queues. Tickets can be purchased for particular time slots. definitely value for money.

It is worth seeing, there is nothing during the day, and it feels very special after entering, like a castle in a fairy tale, beautiful and elegant

The Church of St. Ainian is simple and unpretentious, a classic Renaissance building. The wooden vaults of the early 16th century are decorated with blue and gold floral patterns. The rose windows and arches are heavy and vicissitudes. Open hours 9:00-12:00, 14:00-18:00. 15 minutes walk from the train station.

The CollégialeSt-André Church of St. Andrea was built in the 12th century. The building is empty and well designed. It was once a Romanesque church college and the seminary closed at the end of the 18th century. After the damage, the building is now renovated. At night, the facade of the church often staged a fantasy light show, which was very beautiful. It can be reached in 15 minutes on foot from the train station.

Just near Concorde Square, there is also a small flower market nearby, similar to the market, a church with a Greek architectural style, and a completely different Choi Xizhu such as Notre Dame, it is also worth visiting.
