True symbol of just how important Hannover once was, while closely connected to the British empire. Coat of arms of Britain on it is a great symbol of this. Near the river, in the old town.
The old arc is hard to find. It is sourrounded by new style buildings. It took some time to spot it. But the reward was great - the arc is really old and needs to be seen.

Very beautiful medieval gate in Hannover. On top of the gate is a stamp with an image of the lion and horse. The gate fits well into the environment, although they have been moved after the restoration. Look at it.
