Provence and Italy border the hilly region from the Mediterranean coast to the inland. There are large river upstreams in the middle. From the Alps through the south of Lyon, the Long River is divided into two tributaries near Provence and then injected into the Mediterranean.

Such a pretty place with a lot of interesting boats! Took some great pictures 📸The only downside is that during the night a lot of creepy men hang around the area :(

Van Gogh Cafe is the most famous place here to taste coffee and relax chat. There are many seats to choose from. The cafe is quite large. You can feel some of the local food culture very well. You can be outdoors in summer.

The geographical environment around the Stone City highlights the desolation and loneliness of the ancient city in the mountains, rivers, Huaishui and moonlight. The style is reckless, the realm is wide, and the feelings are deep. It has always been praised. Very beautiful place!

The bridge of Saint-Benezer, also known as the bridge of Avignon, is a famous medieval bridge in the southern French city of Avignon. The inspiration for the French national song "On the bridge of Avignon" was the 22-hole stone bridge built in the 12th century, which became world famous. The bridge was originally about 900 meters long, but it collapsed due to frequent flooding and had to be rebuilt many times. After the huge flood in 1668, most of the bridge was washed out and finally no longer used. It has since been abandoned and no one has tried to repair it. The surviving arches have also collapsed or been demolished, and only 4 of the original 22 arches have been preserved today. Standing on the broken bridge in the Rhone River, looking around, you can better understand the vicissitudes of the ancient city, and the broken bridge has become a scenic spot in Avignon. According to legend, the bridge's architectural design was inspired by the local shepherd, St. Beneze, and an angel ordered him to build a bridge across the river. He was initially mocked, but miraculously he removed huge stones to prove that he had God's help, and won the support of the rich. The bridge was also the place where the Rhododendrons worshiped their patron saint, Saint Nicholas. They first worshiped at the old chapel of Saint Nicholas on the bridge (where Saint Benezer's body was buried), but the bridge was in disrepair, causing clergy to fear the bridge's collapse and refuse to attend the ceremony. In the 18th century, a new chapel was built on the land at the bridge's head on the side of the bridge in Avignon. The bridge is strategically important, the only fixed bridge between Lyon and the Mediterranean, and the only bridge between the papal territory of Avignon and the French mainland under the control of the French king, so both sides of the river are guarded and guarded. On the left bank controlled by the French royal family, the powerful Philip IV tower and the castle of the new city of Avignon were built. On the side of Avignon, large gate buildings were built in the 14th century (substantial modifications in the 15th century) through gates, through walls and a ramp to enter the city.

The ancient city of Arles has a rich and unique world heritage and is the image capital for artists to find inspiration. Van Gogh Sanatorium is a major monument, and Van Gogh's most brilliant creative period in his life was spent here, leaving more than 300 artistic masterpieces to the world.

The South Fagarde Waterway Bridge was one of the great public cities built by the ancient Roman Empire to transport people's livelihood. The bridge in South Fagarde has three floors and is built in the middle of the river, which is listed as a world cultural heritage registered by the United Nations. Locals also treat him as a good place to play water rafting.

Flower Fields

Knowing Provence from the Joan drama, the plot of the plot made Provence become a dream. Today, when I grew up, I finally realized that Provence is not a city but a large area, composed of Marseille, Avignon, Arles, Aix and other cities. Airplane arrival can land in Marseille, train to Marseille or Avignon station. I am from Bordeaux by train to Avignon, Avignon to and from the lavender field day trip, some distance, the best travel state is chartered self-driving tour. 🚩 Lavender must play Cavalanso Le and So Village. 📅 Flower period Valensor 6.20-7.20 Socun late 7.10-7.30💜 Valensor 7.10-7.30💜 I set off from Avignon on June 29, driving about an hour and a half to Valensor, driving along that area and stopping, and getting off the bus when I met the beautiful flower field. The most beautiful piece has a flower field with "two trees", and the two small trees are very magical, which makes the whole picture very harmonious. The parking lot is called [🅿distillerie lavandes angelvin - A200m] Unfortunately, it is too dreamy and excited to forget to locate. You must get off when you see this plaque! 💜 Socun Socun flowering period is later than Valansol. When I went on June 30, Huahai only went to the calf. It is recommended to go to Socun after July 10. 🚗 The whole journey of the traffic strategy is chartered, and Avignon round-trip transfer 💵 per capita consumption chartered car about 3,000/day; Carpooling around 800 / person 📌 Practical tips to go to the Valansol Lavender Grand Canyon before 11 am or after 5 pm, the light is very good. Don't go at noon, the sun is all black in the photo on the top of the head. If the itinerary is the opposite, put Valentinesole in the afternoon. France in 67 is dark at 10:30 in the evening, so the light after 5 pm is also very suitable for taking pictures. 👒 It is really good to wear white, and other colors are not enough to finish. So beauties remember to wear white! White! White! Say the important thing three times.

The Rock Park is located on the top of the rock on the left bank of the Rhone River in the city center. It is part of the old city wall. It is also a natural fortress behind the papal palace. It is just behind the cathedral. It is also the origin of Avignon's history. It was opened in the 17th century and has both English and French style. It is now free of charge as a park. The park has a terrace overlooking the Rhone River, the observation deck behind the park overlooks the old and new towns of Avignon, and the bridge can be seen from the observation deck in front. The park is rich in vegetation, tree-lined, and the environment is very good, especially the garden and rockery are very exquisite. It is a leisure outdoor place frequented by local citizens.
