Visited here whilst on a weeks holiday on The IOW. The promenade runs all along the beach. During our visit the tide was quite high & much of the beach was covered with recent storm damage. Plenty...
Dog friendly beach most of the year
Wide, fairly clean, sandy with some stones beach accessible by the Red Squirrel Trail. It was mostly deserted in February, provided a lovely walk. Dog friendly.

We have always loved Shanklin beach for dog walks as you can walk for miles and there are plenty of pubs/cafes nearby. A bit annoyed at the prices to park this year, I’m sure it never used to cost a...
Rocky beach
Picturesque area near Shanklin Chine, we had an enjoyable evening walk about after visiting the chine and dining in the nearby beach pub.
Steep walk or expensive parking .
Not easy to access the beach without a car or using the expensive lift service . Food prices along the front are expensive . Parking prices are a joke .
