Gardens are dirty and not well kept
We only visited the gardens on Easter Sunday and were disappointed. The walk up to the gardens was unkept and rubbish everywhere. Gardens themselves not much better either, glad it was a free entry
Very disappointed
Where do I start,yes it's Easter Saturday yes it was busy but not full,found a table easily. No greeting from waiting staff. Waited at least 10 minutes for order to be taken, another age before drinks...

The gardens here are excellent. As a Hort, it's always interesting to see gardens in different parts of the UK. Loved the planting here. Visited the Orangery Tearooms for a light bite. To be honest ...

Avoid the cafe
The cafe was pretty poor. Scone was heading towards rock cake and the baked potato covered in what seemed to be tuna soup. Staff seemed semi detached. The single unisex loo had no paper. Beautiful spo...
