Photos of Fanchuanpu Catholic Church

Fujian provincial cultural relics protection unit, located at No. 54 Xinmin Street, Chaoyang Road, Cangshan District, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province. It was built in the third year of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty (1864) and rebuilt in 1933. At the north end of the main church, there is a bell tower more than 20 meters high, and a cross nearly 3 meters high is erected on the top of the building. In the past, the clock tower was famous for telling the time for more than ten miles. It is still the largest Catholic church in Fujian and the main Catholic church in Fujian Province and Fuzhou City.
