The Eiger is also a well-known mountain in the Alps, with an altitude of 3970 meters. The north wall is a very rare and almost vertical large rock wall, and Grindelwald is just below the north wall, with a drop of more than 3000 meters from the peak. The view from the top of the Eiger is magnificent and well worth seeing.
