Introduction

The Millennium Yaozhai Village, located in Liannan County of Qingyuan, was built thousands of years ago during the Song Dynasty. The ancient village is built atop a mountain with a spectacular view of rows and rows of stockades. Going up the blue stone road, one can see mountains and the ancient houses atop them in the distance. The residents are mainly of the Yao ethnicity, who regularly perform folk songs and dances that are definitely worth seeing.
