This is a Spanish-style building that is well maintained. Inside are all kinds of antiques, it can be said to be a hodgepodge. You can see various scenes of the Spanish life at that time here. This is a place of historical interest, and at the same time, it is also an oasis in the disorderly expansion of Cebu City. It's a pity that when I went here, it was closed for renovations, and I can only see from outside the fence. The buildings and outdoor grounds are well preserved. There is also an interesting plaque showing some history of this place. It is within walking distance from Yap House and Cebu Heritage Monument. recommend.
The Gorordo Museum is a historical testimony to this place. This Cebu island includes many attached islands. The area is not very large. It has a traditional Filipino population. The environment of the museum is also quite good. Many items.
Casa Gorordo was the 3rd Museum I've been to in Cebu City. I loved my visit to Casa Gorordo because it is such a well-preserved place. The furnitures were still in good quality and pretty, the beds and the clothings featured inside the house were still neat and clean. It really shows the actual life during the 1800s. If one wants to time travel back to the Spanish Colonization era of the Philippines, visiting places like Casa Gorordo is a great way to go. Casa Gorordo is located in Parian, Downtown Cebu, opens daily, and I think they have an entrance fee. I am not quite sure because I went there for free c/o my Young Minds Academy program.
Casa Gorordo Museum is a very well-preserved old building. The combination of Hispanics and Chinese created an excellent building with Western characteristics and the local climate of the Philippines. And many traditional utensils are kept intact, which is convenient for us to learn history! Worth recommending, the restaurant on the ground floor is good
There is nothing better than entering a fresh and big house to escape the heat in the sun! There are young people who are introducing the exhibition hall, only in English. Our three audiences are from Shanghai and Osaka. Listening to English is also very intoxicating! There is a video introduction link, you can choose Chinese subtitles.
