Castlefield City Heritage Park The Roman castle built in AD 79 can be said to be the father of Manchester. The castle is located in Castlefield, the cradle of the later Industrial Revolution. Castlefield still retains its dilapidated elevated railways, rusted iron bridges and giant warehouses, and it is amazing to see. In the 1980s, it was converted into the current city heritage park.
