Mingde Reservoir is a reservoir located in Mingde Village, Touwu Township, Miaoli County, Taiwan. It is surrounded by mountains, the lake is clear, and yachts can be visited. There are also three small islands with their own characteristics: Yuanyang Island has characteristic buildings and pavilions; Rixin Island is widely planted with fruit trees; Haitang Island has an ancient temple of Yongchun Palace, which can be reached by a suspension bridge with beautiful scenery. Near the reservoir are Mingde Elementary School, Mingde Police Station, Mingde Reservoir Management Office, Mingde Water Purification Plant, Teacher's Hall, Tea Factory and Labor Recreation Center.
