One of the four famous gardens in Guangdong ~~~ Liangyuan was built by local poets Liang Airu, Liang Jiuhua, Liang Jiuzhang and Liang Jiutu uncle and nephew, in Qing Jiaqing and Daoguang years (1796 - 1850), which lasted more than 40 years. By the beginning of the people's Republic of China, a generation of famous gardens had almost disappeared. In 1982, Foshan Municipal Committee and Municipal Government first rescued and protected the existing group of stars and grass halls, and in 1990 was designated as a provincial key cultural relics protection unit. Then in 1994 began a large-scale comprehensive restoration, total area of 21,260 square meters, making the famous garden light a reality.
